Choosing an HVAC company to replace your entire system can be a daunting experience. Who do you trust for this major expense that is supposed to last for the next 15-20 years? I did my comprehensive research from five companies -- two for heat pump systems and three for gas/electric systems.

The company that was the best in customer service and product knowledge was The Cooling Company. Not only were they extremely competitive price-wise, but they were unbeatable in terms of warranties, customer satisfaction, promises made and NOT broken. This company is a premier distributor of Lennox products, which, in my opinion, is the best company around for everyone's HVAC needs. Along with a top-of-the-line heating and cooling system The Cooling Company also recommended an air-purifying system as a reasonable add-on.

After the initial installation there were some problems with the newly installed zoning system. I have a two-story 1700-square foot house with one zone upstairs and one zone downstairs. The problem was in the original duct installation that was very inadequate for my new system. But that didn't stop The Cooling Company from consulting with the expert Lennox technician team in devising a plan to resolve all issues. Wellington Santana, leader of The Cooling Company installation team, consulted with his top installation tech, Marco. What they did was unheard of! They replaced the upstairs ducts, cleaned the downstairs ducts, and installed two new return exhaust ducts. I was getting not just a complete, new Lennox HVAC zone system, air purifier, and smart thermostat, but I was also getting updated interior, behind the walls components as well. Wow! What incredible service and unheard of extra hours of work to make sure the system was working seamlessly to my satisfaction! Nobody does this today!

I am a completely satisfied customer -- and now part of the Cooling Company family, Wellington told me. Their service also includes filter replacement and UV light replacement for my air purifier along with a new air filter for the entire system.

So, if you are considering any HVAC product, especially Lennox, The Cooling Company and its highly trained employees are the experts! I already did the homework. You will be relieved, like I am, that your dollars were well spent with a reputable, incredibly competent, professional company. Thank you Wellington and Marco! You made me and my partner -- and our two kitties -- very happy, proud owners of the best Lennox system ever!

Isaiah showed up on Tuesday. He was very professional and full of helpful advice. We appreciated the same day turn around. My husband found this company on Yelp and we were able to be seen same day. Our unit was frozen and we appreciate the honesty that Isaiah spoke with him sharing the HVAC issues with us. As no one can assess a problem with a completely frozen system. We do appreciate him explaining the process involved with shutting everything down to start the melting process. He was very informative and knowledgeable when I had more questions. We called the Cooling Company on a 110 degree Friday afternoon. The dispatcher sent Justin who happened to be within 10 miles of our Summerlin house. He spent over 1.5 hours in the 140 degree+ attic repairing a blower fan that another HVAC company had installed the year prior. Not only did he arrive 30 minutes early and spot the trouble within 10 minutes but because of his efficiency and speed the bill was a LOT less than expected! The Cooling Company did not disappoint!!!

This company was a blessing after my ac went out over a week ago . After I did an inquiry the cooling company promptly out within an hour . Ray was very professional he took his time and explained everything with great patience. There price was even lower than the 27,000 . The team came on time to put in the ac also very professional and polite. Ray even offered an portable unit just to make sure my husband and I had some relief from the heat. Would highly recommended this company to anyone.

I would just like to say that if I ever have any future problems with my air conditioner unit it'll be the cooling company that I call. They were very professional and came right away when I called. I called The Cooling Company yesterday for a quote. Ray H. came over to my house last night 8/1. He was very professional, polite, very helpful, quick, and knowledgeable. The next day of 8/2/24, after 4 hours my 5-ton unit was installed and so far it's good, and running well. We're truly grateful for their quick respond, and excellent service (after 10 days of having no air with this Vegas heat). Marco & co (forgot his name) installed the AC and really did a good job.They keep things neat and clean, and even sent me a photo of the unit installed.

Overall, The Cooling Co exceeded my expectations with their professionalism, and promp service. I could not be happier with my new AC unit and the wonderful experience I had. Thank you very much Ray H.
Highly recommended!

They helped me out, but may not be the best fit for everyone. The techs are nice and seem competent but they’re super young. For regular maintenance issues they should be fine. For trickier repairs or complicated problems you might want more seasoned techs. But they’re solid here.

Based on my experience with them, I can recommend the cooling company if you need AC or HVAC help. Called them early on Saturday, around 6 or 7am. They were professional on the phone and set me up with an appointment by 10-11am.

The tech texted me 30 minutes before arrival and was on time. They text you a picture of the tech who will be coming out. My tech was a pleasant young. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable.

He looked at my outdoor unit and figured out a wire had been cut by the fan. He showed me the issue and explained how he’d fix it without replacing the whole motor. He spliced the wire and saved me a bunch of money by not having to replace the motor. A shady company/tech might have said they needed to replace the motor for 1k or more.

It’s about 70 bucks to get them to send a tech which is probably similar to other places but still, it would be nice if they just came for free for the first visit or at least waive the 70 if you end up using them.

After fixing the ac unit, my tech mentioned the annual maintenance plan, and I signed up. He wasn’t pushy about it. It’s good having two service visits a year to check the ac and heating units. Better to pay to keep them running than pay to replace them.

Overall I’m pleased with their service and professionalism. Price is likely on par with other companies but you get honest people here. Maintenance plan is about $200 a year (as of 4/2025).

Their techs can be very young. It seems many can’t be very long out of HVAC school. So if you have some really odd issue or things that seem like you’ll need more experience to fix, you might look for a more seasoned tech.

Edgar had a very good presentation. He thoroughly looked at our ducts. The only problem I had was the cost. In doing my research I found a company that would do the same job for half the price. Thank you for the quote and have a wonderful New Year

Andre, the service tech who came to my house to go over my options and explain the services that would be provided should I decide to make the commitment to buy a new AC unit. He explained it well and answered my questions. He is very professional and friendly made the whole interaction very comfortable and I was confident in going forward with the purchase. The speed at which the whole transaction took place and having the unit installed was great . Even the other guys who came for the installation and dismantling of my old unit and the guy handling the crane also professional and friendly. I am very happy with this company.

We had a great experience with The Cooling Company. They arrived right on time, were professional from the moment they walked in, and even covered their shoes, which we really appreciated.
They worked efficiently and carefully throughout the service moving around with a tall ladder without bumping into or damaging anything. They explained everything clearly, kept the area clean, and handled the job smoothly from start to finish. Our new unit is now up and running with no issues, and everything was done to code. Their pricing was the best we were able to find, and even though they were busy, they still made time for us within 24 hours.
