Very responsive. Was available on the weekend which was nice. Might charge a bit much to update a water heater, but the communication, response time and repair was excellent. Will use them again.

My garbage disposal stopped working — all it needed were two screws that had fallen out. My home warranty sent this company, and the tech was in and out in under five minutes. He said they had get a pre approval for repair. I know from past experience if the claim is less than 35O they Do Not need approval from American Home shield. I literally showed him the missing screws, yet two days later my claim was denied because of “missing parts.” Their solution? Try to sell me a new disposal for $450.

A second company came out, replaced the screws, and had it fixed and approved in under 15 minutes. This first company either doesn’t know what they’re doing or is just trying to upsell. Either way — beware. From reading reviews here it looks like this is a normal practice of theres. Not a way to build a business in our city !

Had them come fix my kitchen faucet through American home shield. They messed up my water filter connection and tried to blame the system itself even though it worked perfectly fine prior to them getting to my house. Had to pay another company to fix their mistake. Like the other reviews state, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.

This is my first bad review ever written, because I feel I need to share my experience. My bathroom faucet broke, and the water would not shut off. The only way to shut the water was by turning off the main water valve for the entire house. I contacted my home warranty on Friday and they sent out a plumber from Advanced Home services on Saturday, after paying the $75 fee to my home warranty company. The technician showed up 30 minutes after the proposed window timeframe and was there for less than 5 minutes. At 1st he said it is possibly the cartridge that needed to be replaced, and if that doesn’t fix it then the whole valve would need to be replaced. He said the screw was stripped and did not attempt to remove the faucet handle to replace the possibly broken cartridge. He determined the whole valve would need to be replaced, meaning cutting through the shower tile, etc.
Before he left he said he would submit an approval to my home warranty company to replace the whole valve. However, In the approval submission to the home warranty, he mentioned things that were entirely untrue, such as the “bathroom is leaking for so long and damaging the cartridge of the valve due to neglect…valve is no longer repairable and has to be replaced”. The home warranty obviously did not approve the request. The quote to replace the valve and was an outrageously high price over 1K. After I received the email quote for the valve replacement, I took a close look at the faucet handle, and with the friend of a friend, we were able to remove the faucet easily. We purchased a new MOEN cartridge at Home Depot, and replaced the cartridge. Please keep in mind we are by no means handy man\woman. We did not visibly see any damage nor corrosion on the cartridge, stripped parts or faucet (see picture’s enclosed). I wanted to share this so other’s do not run into the same experience as I did. Advanced Home Services, LLC technician simply lied, is dishonest, took advantage of the situation, and I will never use them or recommend to others.

Ray was great. We had a water heater issue and he came out to the house the first day after our request was sent in. He was professional and fixed the issue and told us to contact him if any future problems came up.

I had them come out to check 4 issues, they fixed none! It was under some warranty program and they refused to verify things weren't working. Water pressure is 80 psi because the pressure regulator doesn't work. They said 80 is max but ok. They refused to verify regulator wasn't working and walked away quoted 80 psi is in specifications. Valve to fridge leaks and they said because the appliance repair person put a downstream valve , no issues. Undeniable that the valve leaks and the pressure regulator doesn't work but they don't see an issue.

Ray and Ernesto were amazing and I'd use them again in a heartbeat. We were so worried about our toilet and he reassured used we didn't need a new one, and fixed the problem in 0.25 business seconds. So very qualified!

I was REALLY skeptical about having this company do any of my home warranty work because of the consistent bad reviews, to the point that I almost called AHS to have another company dispatched instead. but I think some of y’all need to understand what you put in the world is what you’re going to get back. This entire experience from the calls with their office to all 4 of the techs I had at my home, was actually really great. All very friendly and knowledgeable. Even had regular family conversations with 2 of the techs. Not to mention, they were open on a holiday weekend and pushed my warranty company to be on top of things. From the moment we noticed our water heater leaking, to the moment of the new one being installed & done, was about 60 hours. And it would’ve been closer to 48 if the techs didn’t have a major issue at a job before me. Don’t let every bad review scare you away. this company is great and I would use them again even without a warranty.

Great service! Our technician, Ray, was knowledgeable, friendly, and quickly diagnosed and fixed our dishwasher plumbing issue. Very thorough and helpful. We would absolutely use this company again.

Alex was prompt for the initial diagnosis and scheduled a follow up to make the repair. It was not something covered under the home warranty. The morning of the follow up I received notification of his dispatch and arrival. He quickly addressed both outside hose bib replacements and delivered exceptional service.

Expert service, professional and courteous service. The sent out a tech the same day I called for service, and had the part replaced and working again within 2 hours of the call. Serge the tech was respectfully, friendly and professional. What more can you ask for?

Just as several other reviewers have mentioned, this company makes sure their job isn’t covered by your home warranty OR they tack on additional work to the claim at OUTRAGEOUS prices! $250 to replace an old bathroom sink faucet because you insist on doing extra and totally unnecessary work? Apparently it is their company policy to replace pex valves with shutoff valves, and even then, $250 to replace a simple sink faucet?! And that’s in addition to the fixture and work that my home warranty covers! The home warranty company (AHS) is refunding me and sending someone else out. I hope they lose their contracts with AHS.

Also, the plumber was rude and the office has failed to return my call after 2-3 messages. Apparently the manager has been at lunch for 4 days and can’t answer my questions.

This company is a total scam!!! I had a very disappointing experience with this company. My home insurance America Home Shield sent them out after I filed a claim for a leaking water line to my refrigerator. The technician, Alex, told me the insurance would not cover the repair because “there was no angle stop” in the kitchen to turn off the water.

However, while he was inspecting the leak, he went under my sink and used the angle stop himself to shut off the water—clearly proving it did exist. Despite this, he reported to my insurance company that there was no angle stop and claimed he couldn’t do the job. He then handed me a third-party quote from someone he “knew” who wanted to charge me $1,000 for the repair.

On top of that, the service call itself cost me $100, which was a complete waste of money since the technician didn’t actually fix anything. My husband figured out the issue, went to Home Depot, bought the needed part for under $10, and repaired it himself without any problem.

After looking on Yelp, I found other reviews showing the same exact scam, even with the same technician’s name on their invoice. Clearly, this is not just a mistake — it’s how they run their business. This is not just a bad technician — this is a shady company that preys on people. Avoid them at all costs. I can’t say—but it left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. Customers deserve honesty, especially when dealing with something as important as home repairs.
Shame on America Home Shield for taking their word and denying people legitimate claims.

Unfortunately, our experience with this company was not a positive one. They were sent to our home through our home warranty to assess an issue, but instead of diagnosing the problem, the technician asked us to identify which of our several units was affected. When we explained that this should be part of his job as the professional, he responded by saying, “Since you’re the homeowner, you should know.”

As professionals, we expected them to take the lead in determining where the issue was occurring.

We found this response unprofessional and dismissive. As homeowners, we rely on trained technicians to properly assess and diagnose issues—not to place that responsibility on us. Based on this experience, we wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending or using their services again.

We had our water heater go out and contacted our home warranty company who then referred Advanced Home Services. They sent someone out immediately and we got the water heater replaced within 24hrs. We were definitely happy with the service.

Technician came out for a plumbing leak, He was unwilling or unable to open up the walls to look for the leak and recommended I call their Restoration company to open the walls and find the leak... I've never met a plumber who wasn't willing or able to locate the leak and have the tools to do such, watch the video to see in his own words he needs someone to locate the leak with a moisture meter... I called a different plumbing company and they located leak in a matter of minutes and had the repair done quickly and efficiently... Watch the video my advice stay away from this company

Thus far I have been pleased with the service provided by the repairman. He appeared to be reputable, was kind, courteous, warm and friendly to a Senior Citizen. Greatly appreciated allowing him to replace my garbage disposal. Also, a clean worker. Didn't leave a mess after the repair work. Previously used a repairman from Angie's List. Installed a water softener, he placed the salt in the wrong place. Now I have to have the entire unit replaced. Will never use Angie's List again.

Advance Home Services was dispatched through American Home Shield for a shower drain blockage. The technician did not run a camera or perform proper diagnostics. Instead, I was given only a phone estimate stating that the first-floor ceiling must be opened and piping replaced, with a quote of $2,100 for plumbing alone, plus additional costs to repair and paint the ceiling.

I later obtained a second opinion and was told the pipe replacement and ceiling opening were unnecessary and the blockage could be resolved without demolition for a total of $300.

I also noticed several one-star reviews describing similar experiences, which is very concerning. This felt misleading and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company.

DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY! They are terrible. They have inexperienced Plumbers/technicians. The Supervisor, Justin, is terrible and impolite. They are known to turn down warranty coverages to where a warranty company will deny a plumbing service which you have requested.

I had a leak in one of the showers where their so called “technician” was sent here to inspect. The technician cut a hole in the wall to figure out what the cause of the leak was in the shower which was caused by a worn out water valve. The technician stated that it was based on a “Not normal wear and tear”. He did not leave a receipt on the derive that he conducted and then his supervisor Justin stated that it was NOT a service that the technician performed therefore they did not need to leave a receipt. How can a technician state that a leaky valve is not a normal wear and tear? The Supervisor, Justin, did not know how to answer that and stated that there was nothing he could do.

Please save your self some money and go to any plumbing company except this one.

    THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

Darling was amazing over the phone, explained everything I needed to know and answered all my question. The first plumber came out his name was Dustin he wrote an estimate for the water heater repair, and the estimate came back at a lower price. Great service From Advanced Home Services.
