Plumbing reviews in Sparks, Nevada

Jason, the owner, does a great job ensuring customer satisfaction. Appointments are easy to book with friendly staff. Senior Plumber, Jeremy, quickly diagnosed the problem of our “hissing toilet”, replaced the part (which he had on his truck) and restored silence to our bathroom. I would recommend JET and I will hire them again in the future. Thanks!!

Jet Plumbing is great at getting the job done in a timely manner. I am never nervous that my properties will suffer because they always make it work with their team. I am grateful that a responsive and caring company like this exists in the Reno Tahoe area.

My water heat gas valve stopped working and caused the water heater to stop producing hot water. I submitted the home warranty claim and it was assigned to Jet Heating and Plumbing. I got a phone call about 2 hrs later and Crystal worked hard to get a technician out to us same day. Jeremy was the tech and he was professional, courteous and mindful of my property. We now have hot water!! Thank you Jet Heating and Plumbing. 😊

Jeremy and Brenden are two of the best plumbers you can have working on your house. Jeremy came by my home for an emergency leaking pipe and was able to diagnose the issue and resolve it. His helper, Caleb, was also very good in assisting Jeremy. Jeremy is personable and really cares about helping customers with their problem. Easy to talk to and excellent plumbing skills all around! I will use him whenever I get the chance!
A week or two later we had a kitchen sink leak, lucky me, requiring attention. This time Brenden came by, also quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. Very personable. I will also use him whenever I get the chance.
This company really has excellent plumbers that know their trade! -
If I could give Jet plumbing 10 stars, I would. We had to get our entire house re-piped. Not only was Jake at Jet helpful, he was very attentive to our needs and schedule, and gave us a price that was very fair and competitive. When it came to the hands on work, Jeremy at Jet and his partners in crime are simply the best. We had Jeremy and Dave and together they protected our house like I’ve never had with any contractor in Reno. They laid down paper and taped it all down, had plastic sheeting from ceiling down to protect parts of house that wasn’t affected, and just kept the place clean. They striped out all the pipes which ran like spaghetti in our house, and installed new piping like art work. Jeremy is an artist and pays very close attention to detail.
These guys at Jet are next level and Jeremy and his crew are simply put, the best in Reno that I have come across and probably some of the best in the industry.
I will keep Jet on my short list and have already passed them on as recommendations to several of my friends and family members. -
I am glad this company has been bought back by the original owners and is no longer owned by a large corporation. Jeremy and Dave went above and beyond while performing a replumb at my house. They protected the floors with carpet mask and ram board, they cleaned up after themselves, and were very neat while cutting out drywall for easy patchback. The way they worked was strategic and we only lost water for 2 days which is amazing. Jet will now be my go-to for any plumbing or HVAC repairs at my house.

I called a few times this morning as our water heater went out and Zephyr originally installed. The answering system was confusing and I got a voicemail each time. I decided to go in in person because I wasn’t sure I reached the correct extension.
They were pleasant enough in person but no one was on a phone and I didn’t quite understand why my call wouldn’t have been answered earlier, but decided it could have been bad timing. Nope. Just horrible customer service. Scheduled an appt and got a text regarding it. We had a lot of questions and it wasn’t efficient or helpful to text at that point. Requested a phone call multiple times and just got texts instead that didn’t answer the questions asked. The conversation was both useless and exhausting. We scheduled to have our water heater inspected/repaired or replaced by a competitor as a result.
The total phone call time with a competitor was about 5 minutes to have all of our questions answered. We spent an hour trying to get answers from Jessica at Zephyr via texts, without ever getting answers to the actual questions we were asking or the phone call we requested. -
Zephyr Plumbing did a great job for us in an emergency situation. They responded quickly and the tech was prompt, professional and polite. Would recommend them for any plumbing issue. Thank you Luke and Herman!

Had a great experience with Zephyr. They were booked out a bit but thankfully wasn't an emergency situation. Herman showed up right on time and was really helpful explaining things with our thankless water heater. Serviced it and explained what he found, including pictures. Very reasonably priced and happy with the experience.

Jay was professional did a good job, and he reset a toilet repaired a tub faucet shower faucet and copper pipe leak. It took him 3 and a half hours with a parts run.$20 in parts and $1580 in labour . Im sorry but over $400 an hour in labour is hard to fathom.I still give him a couple stars because I think he ia a good plumber but way overpriced.

My neighbor had his sewer pipe collapse, and it runs through my yard, so I agreed to let these guys come into my yard to work on it. Not only did they have to kill 2 old growth lilac trees, but they tore up a huge part of my lawn with their backhoe, leaving tracks and torn up sod everywhere. Didn’t bother trying to fix anything. Then they had to move a heavy 50 year old swingset with 6 guys. Did they move it back? Of course not. Leave it for an older couple to try to move. Very unprofessional company to say the least.

The owner jay is super unprofessional. He was rude and outright nasty. When doing a plumbing job for a next door neighbor, they started drilling cement at 7am. The patch they were working on was 5 feet from my door and they all had proper ear protection and no one from the street had been notified of the work. When brought up to jay outside, how long the job would take, he got political and told me I should ask the president. He then proceeded to tell me that I wasn’t important enough to be notified and that he was merely trying to make a living. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else and give another good, honest and decent company your money.

Thank you Jay McColl for your expertise, knowledge and timely proficiency for our hot water heater replacement and installation. Completely prepared, respectful of property and happily answered/explained all questions. Quality of workmanship A1+++.

These guys did a fabulous job, on my sewer line, in a very difficult situation. We live in an older neighborhood where the city sewer line and easements go down between the back yards of the houses on the block. My 65+ year old “Orangeburg” sewer line was nearly completely collapsed. Many years ago my neighbor had built a block wall and planted lilac bushes right on top of the easement where the city line existed. We had to get to the line from the neighbor’s back yard or remove the wall to access it from my property. We got permission to access it and I had to cut 2 lilac bushes down. One was dead and the other almost dead and they were exactly on top of where my line and the neighbor’s line connected to the city line. There was minimal damage to our yards from the rubber tracked mini-excavator that A1 used. It was unbelievable how many big rocks are in the ground in our neighborhood. In 2 days A1 Plumbing was able to dig a few holes and pipe bust my entire 50 foot + line and replace the old collapsed pipe. Our line was only out of commission for about 5 hours the 2nd day. All the holes were filled back in and I only have some cleanup work to rake out some spots on the grassy areas where the rubber excavator tracks bunched it up a little, and pick up some of the new rocks that got exposed. It feels great to be able to flush the toilet and know that the material is moving into the city system and NOT coming back at me. Thanks Jay and the rest of the A1 crew for a great job.
