I have a GE Monogram Ice Maker. It cost almost $200 to have a technician come out to see why it wasn't working. The technician diagnosed the problem as the main board; however he informed me that this item wasn't available and on back order. I searched the internet, found the part, and ordered it. I called back to schedule the installation, and was told that since THEY didn't order the part, they couldn't install it. What ever happened to SERVICE??????

Have used Ortega’s Appliance Repair for years. My adult children use them and I have referred their services to many friends and family over the years. They are a family owned business and as a whole, they are a company of professional, respectful, courteous, HONEST, caring people! Stanley has always been our go to repairman. Sadly, we recently learned of his upcoming retirement! He will be missed, however we wish him the best! Would not hesitate to recommend this company for all your appliance repair needs. They always try to get us in as quickly as possible. Quick diagnosis and always communicate with our landlord right away so we can move forward with the service.

The freezer was leaking water into the refrigerator. Robert (technician) arrived on time, quickly resolved the issue and explained what he was doing. We have had no issues since the repair. Robert does amazing work.

Our technician nailed the issue with our brand new fridge (Frigidaire). He removed and reinstalled an H2O pump before they could even send the part. Great job Ortega's!

He diagnosed our problem quickly and noti ced similar issue in the defrost condenser which he quickly cleared. Seems to be a frequent issue with these KitchenAid fridge/freezer combos.Your guy went straight to the problem showing your employee skills. Good work!

We have a Hotpoint microwave that stopped working and we didn’t know what to do about it, so I called Ortega’s to schedule an appointment to fix it. They got back to me right away and I was able to schedule an appointment that next week right before our warranty expired! They were able to accommodate the time so I would be home from work as well. Our technician was Stan R. He called ahead to make sure we were there and ready for him. He was very professional and did an amazing job at fixing the issue. He told us what happened and why it had stopped working, and he explained what he did to fix it. He was very kind. We are very happy to have our microwave working again and this was a really great experience for us!

I’ve used Ortega’s for years and most of the time, got the same tech, who was very nice and knowledgeable. The issue was getting past the front desk gals. Jacqueline was VERY rude on the phone. I canceled my appointment and used another company due to how rude and disrespectful she was on the phone. I thought the owner(s) might want to know. I’ve recommended Ortega’s to folks over the years but I won’t anymore due to her. I let our warranty company know as well. She upset my day. Just be nice.

The fan on my Bosch dishwasher needed to be replaced (a $500 repair, quoted by multiple service companies) and it was 6 months past the warranty. Ortega suggested calling Bosch to request that they cover the labor/parts, despite the fact that they had the part on their truck and could have just don’t the repair right on the spot. When I called Bosch and told them I was working with Ortega, they said they were wonderful to work with, they approved the request, and Ortega came back and did the repair. They even refunded me the initial service call fee, so what would have cost me over $500, cost me absolutely nothing. Would highly recommend!
