I called Rick's Heating & Plumbing Co. after having a disastrous experience with another plumber. Rick's not only solved pur problem in less than and hour (something our previous plumber chalked up to faulty equipment that would require an expensive part and additional fee's) but was polite and courteous. The experience level showed as they made quick work out of something I thought was a total disaster. I would give 10 stars if that was an option. If you need a good, reliable, and highly experienced professional then I would use Rick's. Donavaughn was the gentleman that worked on our boiler and I would request him if he's available. Thanks Rick's we appreciate you!

Extremely satisfied with their service! As a transplant to NM I was lucky to find Rick’s Plumbing an Heating. They are very professional and easy to work with. I’ve had them install a new hot water and rebuild my AC unit.
Both times the folks at Rick’s provided me with reasonably priced options to complete the task.
Don’t waste your time with others, make the right call the first time.

Rick's Heating and Plumbing installed a new swamp cooler for us recently. From their estimate and pricing (which was very reasonable and included a veteran's discount) to the completed job they were fast, friendly and professional. We highly recommend them.

I honestly can't say enough good about these guys. No one wants to call a plumber, but when you have to you want someone you can trust. Rick's Heating & Plumbing Co were very honest, straightforward and friendly during the entire process. I was given options, a direct quote and after I decided (in which prices were very straight forward on what was being done and charged), they took tons of extra steps during the job to ensure I was familiar with the system they installed. When everything was complete I asked what I owed since basically every other service I've ever dealt with nickels and dimes the price up another couple hundred, but not them. The quoted price was the final price. Stop your search here and give them a call, you won't regret it.

I couldnt figure out why my cooler wouldnt start up, and not only did Jorge showed up an hour early, but he came to help on Memorial Day. He figured it out immediately and then took the extra steps to fit in my new filters and quick maintenance issues to fire it up for me. Jorge is very professional and quick to answer any questions ypu might throw at him. I can't thank Rick's Heating and plumbing enough for their seller work and quick response time. My family had a wonderful slumber last night, nice and cool!

Rick’s was at my house within an hour of my initial call, when other plumbing companies told me they couldn’t get me in for at least a week. The plumber that came was very nice and knowledgeable and didn’t charge me at all for a diagnostic visit to my home. He informed me that I needed new toilets and let me know where I could buy the “best value” toilets in town. He also informed me that the city was offering a rebate on those toilets and encouraged me to take advantage of that. After Rick’s installed my new toilets (which was a quick, easy, and professional experience), I was informed by the city that they were no longer offering rebates. When I informed Rick’s Plumbing of this, they happily sent me a check in the amount of the rebate, since the information they had given me was no longer accurate. Also, communication with Rick’s is top notch! Emerson answered the phone right away every time I called and replied to my emails within an hour or two. Highly recommend using Rick’s Plumbing and will use them for all my future needs!

I am impressed with Ricks. I had a large leak from my air conditioner. Called other plumbers not one would come out for 3-4 weeks. I found Ricks-same day service. I had to turn off my air to stop leak. When Ricks found out I had no air the came out and fixed it enough I could use it. Waiting for a time they could fix all the issues, the next day. They are concerned about customers. Very professional and polite. Went through everything that was a problem and how they would take care of it. Ricks Will be my forever plumbing company.

My brother has used Rick's Heating and Plumbing a couple of times for various fixes and has been very pleased with work. Based upon his recommendation, we used them to replace a turn off value for our bathroom sink. Despite the very tight space in which they had to work, as well as a couple of unforeseen issues that popped up, Wes and Matt did a wonderful job ! And, Wes kindly swapped out the cartridge in my leaky faucet. Both Wes and Matt were both very respectful and courteous! We would definitely use Rick's Heating and Plumbing again and highly recommend them! It is really refreshing when you receive good service!! Thanks again to Wes and Matt!!

I am extremely happy with the service I received from this company during my two scheduled plumbing appointments. They responded quickly to the message I sent on their website contact form and Jorge and Greg were wonderful. Never had plumbing issues in the past but price was reasonable and affordable. Would definitely use this company in the future!

Rick’s is our go to HVAC/Plumbing contractor. We’ve used them for water heater replacement, furnace replacement, A/C repair, new toilet installation and dishwasher installation. They are prompt, professional and honest. Pricing is reasonable, and they always let you know what the costs are up front for repairs, and you can weigh your options for work being done. Highly recommended.

Call, Ricks, heating and plumbing. I Inform them that my daughters heater was not working, they sent someone out on the weekend. Even though they were closed and it was a holiday. I was extremely surprised and pleased because they weren’t supposed to open until Monday. had it repaired in an hour, didn’t charge for overtime or call out fee. Jorge there technician. Was extremely talented, gracious and helpful. The owner called me personally, while he was doing bills on the weekend. Said he saw my text and would sent someone out. Recently, I had a sewer line clog. I’d already had another plumber come out, but they didn’t do much and didn’t clear both clean-outs. Rick’s team came out, and they handled it like true professionals, taking the time to clear both clean-outs and ensuring everything was working properly. Excellent diagnosis and very fair prices. I tried them on recommendation from family and will definitely be using them full time. They are more interested in listening to you and resolving the problem than trying to sell you parts, service or a whole new system.

I'm a retired general contractor for 35 years from Pa. I needed a new AC/ Heater for my home in Rio Rancho. I just moved here 5 months ago and I didn't know any plumber or AC/Heater contractors . So I asked around and their name up with very high recommendations. I also obtained 2 other bids to be safe. Their bid was so much more affordable. They did the job yesterday, 8/12/25. They arrived when they said they would. They did the job in one day that they said it would take. They cleaned the site after. I would and will use them for ANY further projects. I highly recommend them.

I had a couple leaky valves under my sink that needed to be replaced. I called, got a rough estimate over the phone, and they were able to get someone out to my house a few days later. Jorge finished the job in a little under an hour, was super polite, and the final costs of the job actually came in a few bucks UNDER the rough estimate when everything was wrapped up. Hopefully, I won't need plumbing replaced or worked on any time soon, but if I do, I'd work with these guys again.

I hired this company to have my air conditioner turned off and my heater inspected and turned on. I cannot say enough about the technician Jorge and his professionalism his kindness and his expertise and the way he handled my furnace and my air conditioner. He was so patient telling me what he was gonna do and showing me what I had done wrong previously when I serviced it the air conditioner myself lol. He was so efficient and on time and he took his time taking care of the job. I would recommend this company 100% to all my family and friends and anyone else who wants good honest hard-working people working for you.
