DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE DISHONEST!

Do not use the company , i reached out to them to give me service on my dryer, my dashboard was supposed to be changed , after it was installed , a week later i reached out to them that my dryer is not working again . They kept on stalling me off that someone will get back to me untill my 30 day part warranty was over. All they were able to help me is by paying another 461.00 dollars for a new part for there negligence. I called a different company to replace it and they said the part was damaged because it wasn't installed properly. ALL I CAN SAY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

***READ ALL THE COMPLAINTS ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WEBSITE BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY***

I contacted Superior Appliance to repair my Maytag dryer. After $467.08 of parts that never fixed my problem, 4 visits to my home, 10+ emails and phone calls, this company has refused to remove these parts that never fixed my problem and refused to refund my money. I filed a complaint with my credit card company and with the Better Business Bureau. If you read the complaints (which I wish I would have before I used them), the problems are all the same. This company is not trustworthy nor are they a good repair company.

I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL. The only reason I am forced to use them is because my landlord uses them, but if you have a choice never call these people. Came for a first appointment, and claimed my stove was fixed after 10 min. My stove wasn't fixed. It took a week before they could come back out so they could tell me that my stove was missing another part. Why couldn't the technician figure that out the first time??? You charged my card and assured me the issue was resolved. The customer service representatives are rude and will do nothing to help your issue get fixed. Now they say I have to wait until NEXT Wednesday for them to come back out with the missing part and my stove can be fixed. TWO WEEKS WITHOUT A STOVE. THANKS SUPERIOR APPLIANCE!

RUN AWAY. They wanted to charge me a total of $409 to install a $25 washing machine drive belt. Do NOT use these people.

UPDATE: Today they call me back and say they'll do it for $30 cheaper IF I REMOVE THIS REVIEW! Ha. The best part is that the reason they're giving me as to why it'll cost so much is completely different than the reason they gave me yesterday. (Yesterday, a guy told me that the cost of the part I was seeing online, which I might be seeing "on Amazon or whatever," might not be factory-certified and thus "isn't the real price." I found it ON THE FRIGIDAIRE WEBSITE for $29. Today, the reason was, "Oh, it's a two-man job and they have to disassemble the machine." Nope, I already found someone to do it by themselves for much cheaper. There's a reason I'm far from the first person to give these thieves a bad review.

Horrible customer service!! Do not believe all of the 5 star reviews. They're all from their friends and family. My fridge broke and superior is the company whirlpool uses. What a mistake. Had an appointment for Thursday. They never showed. I called them 4 times and was told the technician will be there. Then was told that the technician couldn't make it because his car broke down. Rescheduled for Friday and guess what. No one showed up again. Called right after my scheduled time and was told yes I am on their schedule and the technician will call me in 2 minutes. It's been 4 hours and the main office closed 4 hours ago and no call back. Now they are closed until Wednesday because it's the Jewish holidays Monday and Tuesday. I have no fridge and can't even celebrate the holiday since all of my food was ruined and I have no fridge to keep my food from spoiling. Thanks superior!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves!! Thanks whirlpool for outstanding service and keeping your clients without a refrigerator (3 month old refrigerator might I add) for 8 days. This is the last time I'm purchasing a whirlpool and I would not recommend superior appliances.

If this place hadn't been forced on us by the warranty I would have told them where they could go. Tech ignored the fact that they had both my number and my husband's number. Only called one and was a no show. When he finally showed up he was rude to me. After an additional week I called to check on parts letting them know I would be having surgery on Monday. That was the day the tech randomly decided to say he was scheduled to repair our fridge, but couldn't reach us so he wasn't coming. They called me while I'm in CCU. To say another week. They are absolutely blasé about screwing with their customer base.

I am deeply dissatisfaction and frustration with the lack of professionalism and reliability displayed by your repair company. Despite numerous attempts to schedule and coordinate a repair service at my home, your technicians have failed to show up or even bother to inform me of any delays or cancellations.

On July7, 2023, I contacted your company's customer service to request a follow up repair on my refrigerator. The representative assured me that a assigned technician would be at my house the same day between 12 noon and 4:00 pm. However, since that initial conversation, I have neither received a call nor seen any signs of your technicians.

This situation is highly unacceptable and has caused significant inconvenience and distress. I have taken time off work and made arrangements to be present at my home during the proposed repair appointment, only to be left waiting with no communication or explanation. Such disregard for your customers' time and commitment is both disrespectful and unprofessional.

Very poor customer services. I had requested service on my washer/dryer close to 1 month already. The technician came out over 3 weeks ago and indicated that the valves need replacement. They have placed the order for the parts, but every week I call them, they do not have any updates on the status of the part order and when they can schedule the repair.
They were quick to charge my credit card for the initial service call and the repair when the parts was ordered.

I would not recommend Superior Appliance Repair.

Pretty short and sweet scenario that happened. We had purchased a part (independently) to be replaced in our washing machine. The folks at the office were helpful enough to get the machine information and schedule a technician to come out the next day between 9am-1pm...that is where the positive ends. I also asked that the tech. call when they are on their way, they made a note.

The next day comes and so does 1pm...no tech, no call. At 1:30, I call the office saying the tech. never showed up within his 4-hour window. They called him and said "he should be there within the 1/2 hour"...OK, I'll bite. 2:30 comes and still no tech, no call (now an hour and a half past the latest scheduled time in the 4-hour window!) I call the office again, furious that I've waited around my entire day wondering if this tech. even exists. I asked again where he was and they said "he'd be there in a few minutes". I expressed my extreme disappointment and aggravation with waiting around all day and didn't expect to pay full price for such poor service. They said, "oh, he's running a little late today." A little late is 10-15 minutes, not over an hour and a half. When I asked for some compensation because the customer service has been so poor and I've been waiting for almost 6 hours, they said, "that's the price." And when I said "You expect customers to pay full price for poor service and missed appointments?" they simply said "Yes."

Needless to say, I was fed up enough and cancelled the "appointment." Not only did Superior waste most of my day with poor scheduling and planning, but they not once apologized for any of this. Look elsewhere and then let me know what you find!!! Very unprofessional.

Spoiler: Do not use this company; Awful Experience!

I had a very poor experience with this company. They came to repair my oven. The control unit had a faulty button so it would turn on, but not off. After the new part was ordered we organized the installation:

Visit 1: Engineer comes around to determine he needs to order a part.
Visit 2: Engineer cancelled the day of the visit after I'd already taken time off work.
Visit 3: Engineer never turned up - they claim to have called me but I had no missed calls and they failed to produce evidence of their call log upon request.
Visit 4: Engineer turned up as the final appointment of the day with faulty (previously used) part.
Visit 5: Engineer finally managed to bring a good part and fix the appliance.

After 5 visits over the course of 5 weeks the oven was finally fixed. The cost of the repair was about $600. It would have been much more convenient and affordable for me to order a new oven at that cost.

I called nearly 10 times, and sent many emails in order to speak to a manager to seek a discount for my inconvenience. I never heard back from them; absolutely disgusting!

Would highly recommend that you do NOT use this company for your repairs. They are very unprofessional and huge time wasters.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

What a horrific experience! Poor customer service skills and very rude staff. A repair man came to my home glance at my washer and dryer unit and told me he cant do anything to help me. There was no explanation and not once did he attempt to resolve the issue. He stormed out of my house and was very rude. Upon him storming out I called him via telephone to see if he can come back and try to give me some sort of explanation. He then hung up on me and refused to return my phone calls.

I called superior to file a complaint and they told me “we apologize” we will send someone out the following day. I thought Wow Great! The next Day comes and nobody shows up. I called superior again and they told me that the repair man doesn’t want to come back to my house because he doesn’t know where the vent is. At this point I’m furious! The lack of communication and aggression from this company is disgusting. Save yourself the time and don’t book with them. Please feel free to contact me for further explanation as to why you shouldn’t use this company !

This is absolutely the most unprofessional and terrible appliance company out there!!!
I would give no stars if I could.
I have a non working oven and called whirlpool on Monday to set up an appointment for today Thursday. I stayed home for the appointment. When no one came by 11 am I called for a time and was told to text or email. I did both and of course no response. I called again and after holding for more than 20 minutes was told that no one is coming to me (nice of them to call)because in March someone repaired my oven and it wasn't them so now October they can't come!!!! Not sure what that policy is about but firstly they could have called so I would have another company come and secondly guess who repaired the oven in March???? SUPERIOR APPLIANCE!!! THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS! I now have no oven and only got an appointment for next week!!
In addition they are outright rude on the phone!! I did nothing wrong and was getting yelled at!!!
DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS!

As of this review, I’ve been seeking a $90 refund for undelivered services for nearly a month. I allowed this company into my home under false pretenses. I was repeatedly told the fee of $90 I paid prior to service, would cover parts and labor. I even endured a long drawn out round around with this company. They even tried to barter the refund I was already offered, for the removal of my negative review

So glad we found Lipa’s! The tech was early, thorough, and preventive with our 20-year-old dryer. Polite, patient, and knowledgeable. Dryer fixed within 24 hours of calling!

I don’t usually leave a negative review, especially for a small business. That said, I felt I needed to in this case, both to hopefully have my question answered and to let future potential customers know of my negative experience.

A technician came to examine my non-warrantee dryer and left after finding the issue. The subsequent quote for a repair (for the parts and labor), equated to half of the dryer’s cost. Naturally, I asked if I could get the list of parts needed, as I’d already paid for the technician to do the exam and felt that this is a very fair ask. Knowing the parts would let me shop around and learn the actual cost here (the estimate was not itemized and had zero transparency). I had no objection to using Superior if the parts were simply expensive items.

I called customer support to get this information and was told adamantly that the company policy is “not to share the parts list needed in an estimate” — which is ridiculous and shows the type of “support” this company really provides.

Left the manager a message and sent an email as well. I did everything in my power to give them the chance to answer me.

If a quick browse on the part cost showed me that the parts simply cost $550 — I’d have happily used Superior. The problem is that this company shows no regard for its customer and won’t allow educated decisions to be made.

Zero transparency, poor customer service, and an unfriendly attitude.

Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere and recommending against using these guys. There are many other local options that will answer your call nicely and provide honest, transparent service.

What a joke! Long story short - the repair man was blowing on a refrigerator with my hairdryer, and the rude lady from customer service didn’t want to pick up the phone and call him to come back since he had just stepped out the door when I discovered the holes between the seal and the doors. (yeah, what a technician who doesn't notice such things) And then she just hung up the phone. She obnoxiously repeated several times that the report had to be filed before they contact me again. I even sent additional photos. No one ever called or replied to me again.

Anyway, the real and certified repair man from Whirpool came and brought his equipment. He found that the tube was blocked and unblocked it. He didn’t use my hairdryer and gave me a piece of advice.

Do not waste your time on Superior Scam Appliance and call another company. Owners should be ashamed of themselves for providing such poor customer service and sending people who know nothing to people’s homes. You are not only a disgrace to the industry, but you also take busy professionals' time from work that we have to pay for to wait for your “repair” men.

I was assigned this service provider by Lowe’s warranty. They are absolutely nasty and rude. Technician called 15 mins before the end of the 7 hour appointment window. I wasn’t able to pick up because I was on a work call. He masked his phone number and didn’t leave a call back number. I called back to the office 10 mins later, but no one was picking up. When I finally got a hold of the officer later that day, the lady was nasty. I explained to her, I can’t be glued to phone 24/7 because I was on a work call, and I couldn’t return their call because I didn’t have a call back number. She was horrible and yelling at me and threaten to hang up. I contacted Lowe’s to assign a different provider. After two weeks, they gave me the same provider. I called again and got yelled at and hung up by the same lady again. She was like- if you can’t promise to pick up your call immediately we can’t service you. Is it reasonable to expect your customer to stick themselves to the phone just so that you can mercy them with services? What if they have bio breaks? What if they have their day job as well? Why couldn’t there be a more reasonable call back protocol (e.g., make sure the technical leaves a call back number? Make sure they call enough time ahead? Have a narrower arrival window than 7 hours?) Anyways, the rude and inconsiderate manner of the reception lady is really not acceptable. Just for that, I would avoid this place like a plague.

Below one of the reviews mentioned the lady answered phone was rude. I would say she was above and beyond rude. After answering her phone calls, you have to see the shrink.

Her name is Jenifer. She is a nightmare.

Asked for manager 3 times, she finally transferred. But obviously the manager is not available either. I left 2 voicemails and see what I would get tomorrow.

The company lack of manpower too. In the past no show on appointment. For the rescheduled appointment the technician arrived 10pm. I was sorry for him. And sorry for me to waiting that long.
