After 20 years we decided to change plumbing companies and found A Good Plumber for our boiler replacement. They were professional, friendly, communicative competent, and competitively priced. I very much appreciate Briana’s service on the phone. Part of the reason we looked elsewhere for bids is that with our old plumber whenever I called it seemed like I was bothering them with my business, and they would not call me back. The excellent customer service makes a difference. Thank you Josh and Yosef who worked really hard to do the replacement and Warren and Thomas who visited.

Mauricio and his partner were exceptional, we had a last minute leak with a child and chaos the day before a big trip which necessitated replacing our toilet, fishing a 25 foot snake that apparently one of our previous plumbers had got stuck cut and not told us about eventually causing the clog, and cutting our kitchen ceiling roof, super quickly, cleanly, kindly and efficiently. Stressful day for us, he made it a freaking lot less than it could have be. Really appreciate ya’ll.

Thomas provided excellent service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. He took the time to explain the problem in detail and fixed it promptly. The communication throughout the entire process—from booking to payment—was smooth and efficient. I highly recommend their services.

Mauricio from A Good Plumber was fantastic. He contacted me to let me know he would be arriving a little early. He came and assessed what would be needed. Then told me the cost which was cheaper than what I had been quoted by another plumber. Grabbed some stuff from the truck, came back and fixed the issue in about 30 minutes. Then asked if there were any other issues I was having that he could look at. Whenever I need a plumber again, I will definitely be reaching out to A Good Plumber.

Thomas and his team did a great job in good time, in coordination with our super. He made a special effort to resolve a potentially gnarly issue and provided timely information going forward. He is humorous and made the experience informative and fun.

Mauricio Morales was assigned to my case. He was very thorough in his analysis with my apartments leak. We clogged the shower stall and filled it up, and let it drain to debug issues. We went up and downstairs between units to observe stuff.

Afterwards he even spent time between the two units inspecting other unrelated things since he was already there.

The front desk was also very helpful in working with my building to establish COIs.

Would call again if needed.

***update***. Got a reply from them and they explained the extraordinary circumstances for the radio silence. I would have wished someone had the sense to call back earlier anyway since this was communicated as time sensitive. I had to find another plumber repeat the inspection since it was 2 business days and the weekend that passed. The new plumber ended up fixing everything. Again I do think they were knowledgeable and nice people. Changing from 1 star back to 4 stars for the effort and eventual followup.

nice people and knowledgeable but not trustworthy. i paid for a plumbing inspection service and was promised a reciept and writeup of the issue. After payment they didn't hold up their end of the bargain. Felt ripped off. they were unreachable afterwards too. I called their number multiple times and an automated service answered every time. They never got back to me. truly disappointed at the outcomes because they seemed like nice people from the brooklyn neighborhood.

The plumber who provided the service, Thomas Sobolov, with his assistant was extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. He identified what needed to be done and completed the work efficiently. Any debris was quickly cleaned up.
I have used A Good Plumber on several occasions on both large and small plumbing issues. They have always been very accommodating and have done their work in a professional manner.
I have been very satisfied with their work and the results.

Josh came at the agreed time. He assessed the problem with the toilet. He listened and gave me choices about how the repair can be done. One was quick fix and hope for it to last. Another was replace the flushometer. I had him replace the old flushometer. He worked for over 2 hours and tsted the finished job for leaks and volume of water. He guaranteed his work for 1 year. I was happy with his professionalism and the quality of his work. He left the bathroom area clean. I felt the price was reasonable.

The work and experience was professional. We had a great experience. The price was competitive and cheaper than another estimate so we are pleased. Main Man Water Main & Sewer was very professional. They were very spontaneous, punctual, and kept us informed of the progress at all times. They explained what needs to be done and finished the job Will recommended them again .

My water line for my home was leaking and needed repair. Met with owner he came down explained everything and scheduled job for following day. Crew arrived on- time and worked methodically through day to complete job and assure our water is restored. The crew were friendly and most importantly sensitive to cover our personal items so they don’t get ruined and cleaned up after themselves. The crew worked so well together and was a well oiled machine before I knew it the job was completed. Great job I highly recommend them

David is it your main man! This company was amazing to work with. Fast and efficient.
Scott was able to set us up for a repair very quickly due to our water main break and the line leaking into our basement. The old lead line had to be replaced.
David worked very hard to make sure the water was back on before he left for the day, even staying until 7pm after starting the job before 8am.
Didn't leave until the job was done and came back to finish paving the street without having to call them. Great communication and well priced! 10/10 recommend

Amazing workers. They are fast, reliable, super efficient, and very nice! I will definitely be using them again! I got a 10 day notice from DEP due to a leak that was flowing into the street. They came the very next morning and within two hours I had water again and everything was cleaned like nothing ever happened!!

Received a 3-day notice to fix my water service line while I was abroad. Eli responded to the request really fast and got the work done. I was quite impressed by his team given that my father, who was coordinating the repair job, does not speak English. Eli communicates with me via WhatsApp and was transparent about the status and causes of the leakage and actions for future leakages. I appreciate Eli’s team for helping us. I recommend Main Man Water Works for any plumbing needs, they won’t disappoint!!
