The technician who came to our home was professional, courteous, and did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, the company’s pricing structure left us very disappointed. Charging $215 per pound for 410a refrigerant feels extremely excessive, especially considering the wholesale cost is likely closer to $12–$15 per pound (if not less). While I understand the need to factor in overhead, labor, and a fair margin, this level of markup comes across as predatory and unfair to customers. Great service shouldn’t be overshadowed by pricing practices that take advantage of people in need.

Have been using Empire for several years now and have been more than satisfied. Very responsive and knowledgeable. Had a problem with our A/C and a service representative (Chris) was here within 1/2 hour of our call. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and fixed it. Prices are very reasonable.
Can’t say enough good things about the technicians or the company as a whole.

Empire Heating & Air came out today to do our furnace and AC cleaning and the tech Dan was Great! Very friendly and went above and beyond! If you ever need anything done with your furnace or AC make sure you call them!

Our Tech was Chris; Thoroughly up to date on all aspects of the trade and extremely pleasant to work with. We will certainly be continuing to both call on and recommend Empire.

Empire Electric is the best! My air ter conditioner was serviced and after 23 years, I needed a new one. Nate, Cody and Dave replaced my air conditioner. They were on time, competent and addressed all of my issues. Highly recommend Empire. It's nice to have one company to meet all my needs, heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electric that I trust!

My heat went out .I found a company that didn't charge me over 100. Just to come out. When they came they where very respectful. Took care of the problem very quickly. I am happy to finally see a company that put a customer first.

I have used the services of Empire Heating for many years for my boiler maintenance check-ups. Therefore, they were the first ones I thought of when I had several complicated concerns that happened almost at once including a sewage back up, leaking pipes, wet basement etc.
Over a few days a team led by Ron worked on all the issues. They were professional, efficient, personable, empathetic and very thorough. I am grateful and pleased with their hard work and highly recommend them!

Two technicians came and serviced my Boiler. They were on time, professional, and respectful. They wore their masks the whole time in my house. Pricing was up front and scheduling the service was easy. Will be using again.

Universal Heating & Cooling came about 45 min after I called on a cold cold Saturday afternoon. The guy that came was very helpful and fixed the problem very fast & efficient. Was happy with the service and the prices were reasonable. I would def recommend :)

We've been really pleased with every contact we've had with Universal Heating--which because of the quality of the heating system has meant pretty much only the annual inspection. The guys who come out are always professional and answer all my questions.

I have witnesses and video evidence to back up everything I said.

Universal came out last year to look at our AC that had stopped working suddenly, they replaced the circuit board and it worked again. Same thing happened this summer (less than a year after they were here the first time) so we called them again to come back out and look at it. The man was rude, he kept going in and out slamming my doors and then kept telling me he was giving us the benefit of the doubt about there being water on the circuit board even though they were the last ones to replace it, so I am not sure what he was even doubting on our part. Once he left I felt beyond belittled and disrepected and honestly a little shaken (in my home!) and my AC still was not functioning properly. I absolutely would not reccomend this company to anyone. Had someone else look at it the next day, he figured out almost immediatley why was going on and how we could actually fix the problem.

Have used Universal heating for a few years, good customer service, reasonable pricing on services and on time when they say they will come -they are very accurate. I would definitely recommend Universal heating if you are having issues with any of your heating or central air concerns.

They are consistently on time respectful of our home . They talked to us this last time about the age of the furnace and the eventual need for a replacement, But the furnace is 25 years old and I credit their service as the reason for this length of time. Our heating costs for a 1700+ square foot home is less than $700 a year due to their keeping it running efficiently.

I highly recommend Universal Heating and cooling. The professionalism, knowledge and honesty are outstanding! Competitive pricing, the service tech Russ is very knowledgeable and neat. For all your heating and cooling needs, Universal Heating and Cooling are the people to call! Definitely a 5 star!

Mike responded quickly after my very old heat pump “died” suddenly. He assessed the problem and offered solutions. I decided to replace the heat pump-he gave various options to consider without any pressure, which was much appreciated. Tonya, in the office, was very nice and helpful and arranged to have the new system installed the next morning. Mike,Dillon,Donato& one other (forgot his name)-the universal team arrived on time, were nice & courteous and did a wonderful job. Left everything very clean,explained how to operate the new system-which is working great. Very pleased !

I have a 17 year old furnace. Had another co. Come and tell me that i needed a new one. Universal came out for a 2nd opinion and told me that i do NOT need to replace the one that i have yet. Also gave me an estimate for when it does need replacement and their price was much lower than the first company. I greatly appreciated their honesty and would therefore recommend them.
