I have a daughter with special needs who has temperature instability. Our furnace had trouble keeping her room at the correct temperature last night, so I called fros. They came right away, and figured out that I had wired my thermostat for only one stage instead of two, so it was only running on low. It was great!

My experience with Turnbull has always been good when the new unit for the air conditioner was insulated the two workers did a top notch job they worked for quite a few hours and kept me well informed as to what they were doing and after all those hours of work they left my basement very clean nothing left for me to pick up
If I’ve ever had a problem with my heat or air conditioner they are the people I call
and I have never had to wait for their service so I would highly recommend them
And the service people that work for them are very well trained snd also very nice

I had Kevin come out last week (10/29) to give me a proposal, as my 26 Year old Trane decided it had enough with New York Winters and my 4200 sqf home. This was the 3rd quote I received and FROS' Premium option was cheaper than the other "Big Name" companies' "cheaper" solution. System install was a 98% AFUE.

Today (11/3) was install day:

They were not only on-time, they were early - Check
They were polite an professional - Check
They consulted with me about what wiring configuration was needed for my new Google Nest Thermostats I purchased, so I could install them while they did their thing - Check
I was also working from home and nearly forgot they were even here during my many Zoom calls - Check
When they left, you wouldn't have know they were ever here (besides the fact that I now have heat); work site clean - Check

Called Turnbull at 3am Sunday they actually had someone available to talk to. Jon came over fixed a broken valve in less than a hour. Great work and service for good price

The contents of this review is my opinion based on my personal experience.

In my opinion Fros Heating and cooling is a horrible company. hired them to install a whole home mini Split and in my opinion it's never worked correctly since day one. I set it on 68 degrees and the best it can do it 73 degrees. I have attempted to get them to address this issue and three times they said they would send someone out to do a full diagnostic and they never actually sent someone out.

Also installed a dryer vent and after discussion and agreement on where the vent would be they ended up installing it in a completely different place where I didn't want it, then tried to charge me to fix their mistake. I ended up asking them to leave my property.

Can't say enough good about the in stallers They arrived at 8AM, Went right to work replacement of our old furnace and air conditioning system. They were a joy to have here and very professional in every aspect of the job . They cleaned up everything and left at 1:30 pm ,job DONE!

John came out to check on our heater after a sudden stalling. He was about to visit the same day and made sure everything was in working order so we could stay warm during the last few months of upstate winter. He also provided us with some recommendations for making sure we use our older device safely.

Right from the start, I knew I was dealing with a professional company. The owner, Jake was fantastic. He delivered on everything he promised.
On the day of installation, he sent a team of installers. They were fantastic. My installation was a bit more complicated then anticipated. They handled without missing a beat.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend The Fros team… if you want the best of the best.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company. I recently got stuck with no air conditioning. I called up Turnbull and they were quick and responsive. Tom the technician came out and did a thorough inspection and quickly diagnosed the problem. Within 30 minutes the air conditioner was ice cold. I highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed!

The professionals at Fros Heating and Air Conditioning did a great job replacing my old furnace. Not only did I get a great quote, but the manager Kevin met me at my house the day after I called and gave me a few quotes to choose from while explaining everything. And when we agreed on a new furnace, the wonderful Fros installation team showed up on time and installed my furnace in less time than anticipated...they were efficient, professional and friendly as well.
The cost was less than all of the quotes I had received, but I got more value and I know that it was installed by honest and reliable experts.
I can already see that my RG&E bill is lower, and my house is warmer, and my family is safe and happy.

Excellent in every way! From the salesperson to the installers I couldn't be happier. Happy with the product too! I called and within three weeks I had central air installed! Wonderful company to do business with.

The morning of Christmas eve day, the fan in our furnace was running but no heat. I called Turnbull around noon and Tom came before 5:00. He would have to order a part and was unsure of the total cost. The furnace was 27 years old so we opted for a new one. I was amazed that we had a new furnace in 4 days since it was Christmas week. Heat is now steady, no alternating hot and cold air. Thanks to Tom, Corey and the installers.

Turnbull came and looked at our furnace because we had a fan that was making a lot of noise. The service tech told us that the entire furnace needed to be replaced because the replacement parts no longer existed. He even assured me that he called someone to make sure. Seemed sus.Turns out it was a $150 part that was both available and easily replaced in under an hour. I don’t know whether he simply misdiagnosed the problem or was intentionally trying to sell me a brand new furnace, but his recommendation could’ve cost me thousands if I hadn’t checked further into it.
