My experience with Apex Heating & Air installing a new gas pack was terrific. Jimmy did a great job in determining what would be the best size unit (tonnage) for our house. His proposal was also thorough and very reasonable, compared to all other estimates (4) we received. Furthermore, the workers who installed the unit did an outstanding job. The work required going under the house with less than a foot of crawlspace and replacing a lot of old duct work--I don't know how they did it. And there was no extra charge for this herculean effort. Indeed, I highly recommend Apex Heating & Air for all types of homes in the Triangle area.

I had a terrible experience with Apex Cooling and Heating Company. I called them on August 20th for diagnostic of AC issue. I was told that their diagnostic fee was $94 + tax and they requested me to provide them with my credit number. After their tech told me possible leaking of the system, I told the tech that I did not want to move forward with repair. So they did not do any repair work, and only provided the diagnostic. To my surprise, I found that my credit card was charged with $181 on August 27th. I called their office asking for explanation. They told me that $94 was just for them to drive up to my house and additional $70 was for them to hook something to the unit for checking. If I had known that $94 was just something for them to drive up doing nothing, I would never ask them for anything. I will never use this company again and please be aware not to fall into their trap. I would give them zero point if google allows me.

Outstanding end-to-end service. The office staff was very polite and professional and answered many questions. Jimmy came out the next day and did a thorough evaluation to calculate the necessaryload, including measurements of every window in every room. I was familiar with Carrier and probably had more questions than other customers, but Jimmy was very patient and answered all of my questions. There was no hard sell, and we discussed pro/cons of annual servicing, replacing 1 vs. all 3 systems. The proposals were clear and the office and Jimmy were extremely responsive to additional questions regarding rebates/incentives, payment options, and technical questions. The proposals were significantly cheaper than 2 other companies, including "bundled" discounts from others if we replaced all 3 systems at the same time. We elected to replace all 3 systems because of rebates, and to avoid likely higher costs and longer waits during the summer, especially since each system was 17 years old. On the install day, 3 crews came out, all of whom were courteous and professional, and everything was done within 8 hours. The office also made financing and rebate submission extremely simple. Post-installation communication has also been excellent. Very happy with the product, pricing, and every person that I have communicated with at Apex. Even if the price was somewhat higher than the other 2 bids, I would have still chosen Apex given the positive interactions I had with their staff and other reviews.

I had a great experience with Apex Heating and Air ! The project manager explained everything well and answered all my questions. The installing team was on time and completed the job in a timely manner. In addition, the installation manager explained the system’s operation.

Jason and his team did wonderful work. Jason recommended changes to air duct and it resolved my 15 year old problem. He is great to work with. I like Apex Heating and air conditioning they are very down to earth folks from installation and fixing issues and as well pricing standpoint.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Michael, an HVAC technician from Apex Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. Michael promptly arrived to diagnose my AC unit, and I appreciated his professionalism and expertise. However, he informed me that the unit needed replacement rather than providing a temporary fix.

While I was hoping for a quick repair, I understand that Michael’s recommendation is based on what’s best for the long-term functionality of the system. His honesty and commitment to quality impressed me. Although I’m disappointed about the replacement, I trust his judgment.

Overall, Michael’s service was excellent, and I recommend Apex Heating and Air Conditioning Inc for their knowledgeable and respectful team. If you’re looking for reliable HVAC services, give them a call!

I've been a loyal customer of Apex Heating and A/C for several years now and have always been appreciative of their competence and honest service for all of our interactions. Their entire staff seems very well trained in providing excellent customer service and I've always been able to depend on them. In particular I'd like to thank and recognize one of their Service Techs, Jason. I got myself into a bind attempting to change out a bathroom ceiling fan, light unit that had quit working. As with many DIY jobs I got most of the way thru removing the old unit and hit a roadblock. Not wishing to go the Angie's List route I took a shot in the dark and asked Apex H&A/C if they might be able to assist. Robin took my call, did some digging for me and sent out Jason within 48 hrs of my call for an estimate and he was terrific. Attentive and skilled, he knew right away where I'd gotten to and was able to show me how to finish up. He also gave me the option for him to order the new unit and return to install it or just do it myself. Bottomline, no charge as well since the visit could be considered a free estimate. I'm basically delighted with the experience!!! Thx again Jason (and Robin too) and Apex H&A/C, you folks are awesome!!!!

We've used Apex Heating/Air for several years and always had good service. Recently we woke up to no heat during a cold spell, and had guests coming that afternoon. They were able to get someone out in just a couple hours, had the required parts in the van, and fixed it in under an hour. Highly recommend.
