I had an issue and called for a service call. I was told I would get a call back when a tech was ready. A tech called less than 5 min after I called and was at my house within 20min of when I called initially. The experienced and friendly tech rectified my issue in less than an hour after arriving. Would recommend.

Patrick M, G&S Energy Technician, performed my Spring AC Service professionally manner. I have used G&S for 45+ years and the technicians have always provide honest excellent service. Personally recommend them.

Cliff Goodman came to my house this past Monday(4/16) to service my two A/C units under the contract plan. He did an excellent job with the inspections but what I am most impressed with was making sure that I was satisfied with my contract purchase and asked if I had received my free filters that went along with the contract. I told him that I did not know I was supposed to receive these. He took down the filter sizes I had and said he would make sure to get them to me soon and apologized for not getting them when I signed up end of last year. He did just that and dropped them off to me yesterday. What customer service!!! Be sure to thank Cliff again for the great customer service and that I will be renewing my contract when this one expires. Thanks!!!

Holiday weekend heater stopped working. Spoke to Austin who obviously was on call. He could not get here until after 6 PM at best. I opted to wait till Monday (after hour rate too high for me).
CJ and another guy showed up around 8 AM and diagnosed the problem - induction motor replacement. Part had to be ordered and it took to Wednesday to receive. At 8 AM CJ and patter let me know they were under way. By 9:30 system was on. Boy we' we're glad!!! ( Temp on Sunday and Monday went down to the 20s and. Tuesday night it went down to 17). The part was under warranty.
Bonnie. who answered multiple calls from me - trying to wish the part early arrival was very polite and helpful. Thank you all for a nice well done job ( by the way, we are an elderly couple and it was a rough 4 nights). Many thanks to the whole crew. Definitely will recommend G & S service.

Called earlier today due to heat not working. Bonnie at the office took my call, answered my questions and put me on the schedule.
A couple hours later I received a call from Shawn the tech and he came out to the house and fixed it. He explained what was going on. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
It was fixed and heating up my cold house in no time! Shawn also took the time and explained the service plan they offer. I'm checking into it.

Chris was awesome!! My elderly parents HVAC went bad. Chris contacted me right away to discuss options. No pressure at all just gave me information so that I could make a decision. He communicated throughout the week to keep me informed and we had a new system installed by end of the week. Awesome service…we were super pleased!! Highly recommend G&S for your HVAC needs!!

We get excellent service from G&S. Cameron arrived on time and serviced both heat pumps in preparation for the hot weather. He explained what he was going to do and did a thorough job. He is personable and communicates well and we're very pleased with his work and with G&S. They did our service last year and we will definitely call them next time.

Recently I called them again because our heat pump wasn’t working on Aux Heat. Response was prompt and friendly. After a part was ordered and replaced, the repair was made and the unit is working properly again. Very good service for a very reasonable price.

I have a chronic disease, with only Social Security Disability for income. Both make it very difficult to do things in a timely manner.

G&S Metal repaired my A/C unit early summer (2025). I was unable to get my bill paid on their timeline, which is before the technician leaves your home. So, when I needed service on my heating system. (When temperatures were in the 40s and 50s). After spending 2 days trying to get in touch by phone, with G & S Metal I filled out a request for service form on line. After this attempt the office personnel finally called me and told me I was no longer a client of theirs after my last service call. (Which I know is due to my inability to pay my invoice immediately.

In summary, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MONEY IN HAND BEFORE YOU MAKE THE CALL. Good Luck

My multi-talented technician, Matt, exceeded my expectations today. He not only serviced my furnace and provided a complete set of pictures, as he walked me through the results, but after inspecting my water heater, he was able to confirm that it is operating properly and set me up for the service it needs to ensure it continues to function optimally. Matt was also able to complete a toilet repair, because he is also a trained plumbing professional. I truly appreciated having a technician capable of addressing all these areas, with patience and professionalism to accompany his competency. Thank you Horizon for sending Matt, I am delighted with the above and beyond service he provided.

Today, 3/19/25, I met a new HVAC technician, Isaiah, who serviced and inspected my equipment, and I am relieved to be all set for staying cool when the hot weather arrives. I also had a plumbing service call from Jeremiah, who addressed a concern I had with a sink that was emptying slower than normal. His knowledge and experience led him to quickly assess and correct the problem, and I learned quite a bit about what goes on under my sink in the process. I totally appreciated both technicians for their timely arrivals and great service, something I can always count on from Horizon.

Been dreading the day my HVAC would eventually go out. Was 29 years old. Gathered all the Referal companies my friends and neighbors suggested. Called Horizon Services along with 3 other local Charlotte/Concord HVAC companies for a quote knowing I needed a complete HVAC replacement. Travis from Horizon came out did his inspection came up with a plan and best equipment for the job. Compared equipment with the others and it just so happened to be the best price too. In addition, Horizon went out of there way and filled out all the important documents for Duke Energy for an additional $325 rebate. The install guys Jesus and Silas were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient and real nice guys too. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Horizon Services. Both Travis Littles, Comfort Consultant, and Jesus Aquino, Installer and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. They patiently provided information that was helpful in the replacement and use of our new furnace. Honestly, I had never heard of "Horizon Services" until their name popped up in a referral and I am so glad that it did. I highly recommend this company and will likely use them again in the future without a doubt. I did my homework, and luckily, I made the right choice!

We needed a new garbage disposal and had a leaky pipe in our laundry room. The techician was Very professional & knowledgeable, wore shoe covers the whole time while in our home, didn't leave a mess, arrived on time as promised, showed us what he did/completed and double checked to ensure everything was working before he left. I highly recommend using Horizon and will be using them again!

The representative tech for this company was awesome. I’ve been getting quotes for a water heater all week long from other companies and it wasn’t until this moment the detail that this representative and explanation he took the time that the early explain the job and all the requirements that he’s gonna have to do. It went to that moment and I was sold because I had hadn’t had that experience and knowing that there’s a company that would treat it as if they were building their own in their own personal homes was just beyond rare these days and when you find them it’s awesome

Derek our technician was very knowledgeable about A/C systems and except for the fact that he had to travel to the warehouse to get the needed parts the repair was completed quickly nice to see a young man with skills because of his experience I wil more than likely use Horizon Services again.

Matt and Jessie were awesome and very professional! Did an excellent job explaining the repair process and completed the job in a very timely fashion. Even helped out with explaining my water softener that came with the house. Highly recommend Horizon Services!
