I wish I could say the same as the others but unfortunately my experience has not been great. My AC unit went out in August and I chose SBS because the first company that AHS wanted to send could not come out for a week and I wanted/needed my AC unit repaired as soon as possible. So, SBS came out and did repair my unit rather quickly. However, 2 weeks later my AC unit went out AGAIN and I had to call AHS and SBS back to reopen my contract and have my AC unit repaired. The Tech came back out and said that I needed my coil replaced. It took nearly 2 weeks if not more for the part to come in. I had to make another appointment to have the coil replaced which was another week. The Tech came out to replace the coil FINALLY I recieved a text message while I was at work saying the job was done. I'm thankful and looking forward to a cool home and good night sleep after weeks of living in a hot house. My husband got home from work before me and calls to say the AC is still not working . I call SBS to see what's going on and I'm told that now the compressor is out and will need to be replaced but the part has to be ordered and I'm reassured that it will be in by the beginning of the next week (this week). When I didn't hear from them this week I gave them a call to check the status of my service request and I'm told today that the part is still not in and I'm reassured once again that my AC unit will be repaired by no later than the end of next week. I am still waiting for it to be repaired and suffering in what feels like 100+° weather. It's ridiculous that I am having to wait over a month to have my unit repaired when it should have been done right the first time. All of that being said, Megan has been very nice. But nice isn't cutting it when I have to go another week in this hot house and have a infant living in my home it's miserable and uncalled for. Unfortunately I signed a contract so I'm stuck otherwise I would have called Eanes and been done with this weeks ago!!!

After having American Home Shield for over ten years, you learn that companies must jump through many hoops to service their customers that are assigned to them in the best way possible. Patience is certainly important! SBC-NC finally figured out what was wrong with my AC system. They were the third company to come out in the past month and the first one to diagnose the problem and repair it correctly. Hunter was extremely professional and definitely had the knowledge to get the job done!

We had a great experience with SBS-NC. We were having difficulties with our A/C and after contacting the folks at SBS-NC everything went very smoothly. From the ladies that answered the phone to the guys that came out for the inspection and installation, my wife and I were very pleased.
Michael, Hunter, Andy, and Mason were very helpful and worked hard.

Matthew and Drake come to our home almost 2 weeks ago. Matthew fed us some mess about not being able to check our freon because our coils needed to be cleaned which was not covered under our home warranty. They also said our air filter needed to be changed and then they took my payment for my home warranty deductible and went on their way. I did a little more investigating and found out he was full of it and had to call the home warranty back. They tried to get in touch with this company for a week straight before contract relations had to get involved. Finally, I got my second opinion through a different company approved through my home warranty and sure enough my second opinion came out and within 5 minutes told me something was wrong and actual found and fixed the problem. In addition, they never went under the house to check my AC handler which is where the problem was. In the beginning, I didn't know better because I know nothing about HVAC but now that I know, I want others to know not to let these people take you for a ride.

Our experience with SBS was excellent. Megan and Paula in the office were professional and most helpful in getting our appointment scheduled. Hunter, our technician did a great job during the service call. Unfortunately the malfunctioning system needed to be replaced. Jason and Michael were thorough, informative, and helpful when providing a quote to replace both our upstairs and main level heating and cooling systems. They listened to our concerns regarding improvements we wanted to see, especially with certain rooms upstairs, and made appropriate recommendations to remedy hot/cold spots. The installation went very smoothly. The team arrived when promised each day and were extremely careful while working in our home. At the end of each day, they cleaned the work space and made sure they left nothing behind. Brian, Justin, Michael, and Jason were all here at various times working together. All were professional, friendly, and very committed to doing a great job. Providing excellent service and total customer satisfaction is truly a priority with each of these guys. We are very pleased with the work that was done and highly recommend SBS for HVAC maintenance or system replacement.

Our system was up and running but no heat just cold air. Called SBS-NC they are Awesome! They were able to fit us in same day. Joe came to check on the issue he is very knowledgeable and professional, all around great guy. He was able to resolve the heat issue same day which we are grateful and appreciative for.

Edit: Sad to say that they are no longer working Residential, they are only on the commercial side now. Hope this helps with anyone looking for residential to find another HVAC vendor.

“Pro Technician” installed New Capacitor, left it in box hanging free by the wires and took my mounting bracket with him when he left. Capacitor wires worked themselves loose and AC keeps malfunctioning. Contacted General Manager and we’ll see how they handle the situation.

The SBS-NC technician was friendly, professional and polite. Our AC issue was addressed and corrected quickly. His performance at our home was exemplary.

The only issue we had was that we were told to expect the technician to contact us sometime between 12:00 noon and 4:00pm on the day of our appointment. We waited for his call at home all four hours, but never heard anything from anyone over the phone or via text. We called the office shortly past 4:00pm. During that call we were told the technician had been held up and would be with us soon. He arrived at our door about an hour later.

We have a home warranty plan and this is the first time this company was assigned to assist us, and we are very happy they did! Hunter was the tech that came. He was very professional and informative. He put in the part that was needed and immediately the system started working properly. He checked our older system thoroughly and advised us what is needed. They were on time and sent us a text before and after service call. We highly recommend this company to everyone who is having problems with your heating unit!

Just a quick note to say your guys did a most AWESOME JOB, were extremely prompt, courteous, and had excellent attention to the details installing our new Comfortmaker heatpump. They are the exception, not the rule for sure, and are to be highly commended for a great job!

When I wanted to use my existing Wi-Fi thermostat, they at first thought it wouldn't work, but they got on the web and phone and accommodated the request and made it happen for me! This was most awesome! 😜

The install turned out to be a major cosmetic and functionality improvement as well as they were able to move my condensation pump to the side and securing the lines from the outside unit much better and cleaner looking than before, giving me more room for my vehicles! They did this without me even asking them for these improvements and beat me to the request. 🏁😎
Whatever you're doing to keep these guys, hold onto them. In today's world of hard to find employees, they're golden!

Thank You Again for getting this done promptly and without a lot of headaches. I certainly hadn't planned on doing this, but I know the turnaround was very good considering it's probably peak season.
Everything I've read about any systems really comes down to how properly the system is installed and the company standing behind the install.
Your guys knocked it out of the park for details so I'm excited to believe it was done beyond right!

12/3/19 Had them come back out when my other heatpump upstairs died and my home warranty sent me somebody else who was irresponsible. I called them and they came right out, were more competitive than the other company and I refused to let anyone do the work except them because they did such an amazing job on the last job they were the only guys I trusted to do the work. They caught the fact my system was never right to begin with, reengineered the ducting in my attic and replaced all the plenums with a system that no longer makes any noise at all. I can't even hear it running anymore, it is absolutely amazing. These guys are first rate, I cannot say enough great things about their attention to detail and doing the job like a complete professional team. Courteous, On Time, Excellent work ethic never stopping till they got it done, just an awesome experience all the way around. Do not waste your time on anybody else, these guys are the BEST AROUND!

Needed a replacement AC unit because my system had given up, had 3 different companies come out and give me quotes on the equipment and installation and by far SBS-NC Heating & Cooling had the best value.

Not only were their prices reasonable and their equipment backed by a 10 year warranty but the service was top notch. Mike took the time to explain what he was going to do, the difference in equipment choices and he scheduled the instillation to happen ASAP, now I'm sitting cool in my house once again.

I would recommend Mike, Justin and Brian for anybody that has a AC/Heating unit that needs servicing or replacing because they did an amazing job!

This was my second time using Triad Heating & Cooling. Samuel was punctual and courteous, as was his assistant. I'm pleased with the knowledge and service and highly recommend.

Jeff arrived on time, performed a complete service, provided a detailed writeup, and gave me some suggestions on a new thermostat. All good.

Jeff came to check out our geothermal system. He was thorough and he did a great job informing us of what was going on. Would use them again!
