Jonathan is fabulous! Does great work, reliable and not pricey.

Johnathan from Tobacco Road came out to replace a capacitor on my HVAC system, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He was professional, friendly, and explained everything clearly. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and the price was very reasonable. It’s rare to find someone who combines great service with fair pricing—highly recommend Johnathan for any HVAC needs!

Jonathan was great to work with. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and fixed it. He would be our HVAC person for all future needs. I would highly recommend for any kind of HVAC related work.

Jonathan, the owner, is very kind and very knowledgeable about HVAC systems. He is excellent to have a conversation with and will explain the work very clearly. For those reasons I did not want to write a review, but I would not want a friend stuck with problems as I have been. Tobacco Rd struggles with communication and scheduling.

Based on the lack of reliability I would not recommend him to work on your home. Emails and texts unresponded to, proposed work times come and gone, promises not kept… and I still have serious heating and cooling issues.

While he apologized for some of the delay in responding, and gave clear reasons he couldn't reply, he again left me hanging a fourth and final time this fall.

I rarely write reviews, and want to support small businesses, if they can be trustworthy and reliable. I found this business based on these other excellent reviews. This company has proven to me that they cannot be recommended and should be avoided.

Jonathan was able to identify the problem with our furnace quickly, obtain the needed part, and he came back in the afternoon to fix it. Plus we had him complete the fall/winter checkup. The heat was fixed in one day! Good communication and great service. Highly recommended! We will call Jonathan in the spring for the AC checkup for sure.

Jonathan and JR (JB?) came within 1-1/2 hours of our somewhat frantic emergency call to get our heat back before the ice storm. They were very pleasant, communicated just fine, diagnosed the problem quickly ( a bad circuit breaker), repaired easily and did a whole system check. We were very relieved and reassured (and now warm!). We would use them again.

Brandon was quick, efficient, polite and fixed our furnace that had been broken for days, which saved our family who had been cold for a few days. The price was quite reasonable too, at $193 for a burnt-out inducer.

Identified and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. Was able to get to my house within a couple of business days. Showed up on time, was great at communicating, and didn't overcharge or try to up-charge for additional services.

It;s easy giving so many stars to these guys. I hope you didn't have too many emergencies over Thanksgiving but it was 27 degrees this am and we were warm after Brandon replaced the burner. THANK YOU so much.

Jason was great. His response time and communication was wonderful. He had our broken AC up and running in no time. Fixed our blower motor and installed a new thermostat which was much needed. If you are looking for a good honest HVAC contractor, this is your company!

Jason has serviced our units for a couple years now and just helped replaced one that was under preforming. We discussed our options and found one that worked for our budget. This is our third go round hiring a local HVAC company for our mini-split system. Long story short, working with Latta's was an all around awesome experience. My elderly boss's AC broke when the heat index outside was over 100 degrees. Jason had recently installed a new AC unit into my home, and we were very happy with his work. So I called him at 7:50 a.m one morning and explained the situation with my boss. Jason met me at her house at 9:00, and had her AC fixed by 10:15! He and his crew really are top notch all the way around. And his fair prices can't be beat!
