Brent M is great! He thoroughly checked our devices and gave us clear education. He cleaned up after himself and was quick. He was on-time and fixed our problem the first time! Everything we could ever ask for! Definitely recommend and will keep his card.

Our Caryl repairman Anthony Ford was pleasant and open to explaining his ability to replace our old stovetop and replace the new one. Anthony was very friendly and personable.

I hate leaving negative reviews but at this point one is warranted. I closed on my new construction townhome at the end of September 2023. By January 2024, I was already experiencing issues with my HVAC unit. A technician came out and explained that some of the wiring was missing and what was there had been installed incorrectly (great). I thought that would resolve the issue but experienced additional issues in July 2024. A different technician came out and repaired something with the thermostat and unit (again great). Fast forward to July 2025… I received a message that something was potentially wrong with my unit. At that point I paid $264 for the maintenance plan. Guess what? It’s November and I’ve gotten a new message that something is wrong with my unit. I call Caryl Mechanicals because I literally had this service not even six months ago. A member of their maintenance team is unavailable until December 17, 2025, but lucky for me a member of their service team is available today. It’ll just cost me $99 diagnostic fee plus what we they deem wrong. I’m at their mercy because it’s going to be extremely cold this week, and I have my kids living with me. You’d think (at a minimum) they’d be willing to waive their service fee (since this will be the fourth issue in two years). I’m definitely sending a letter outlining the ongoing issues and then will call and speak with attorneys to see what recourse is available. I would definitely advise shopping around. This would NOT be my HVAC servicer of choice!

Christopher S. completed my routine winter HVAC service on 12/24/25. He was so dedicated to come out on Christmas Eve. He messaged before arrival, was right on time and was super pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. He took time to explain HVAC principles, checked my system for safety and airflow, changed out filters and even made a few adjustments to improve function and vent appearance. Caryl Mechanicals is a great company to work with and I am thankful for their service.

Christopher S did a great job at informing us of what the issue was and what parts needed to be replaced. He added more refrigerant to give us intermediate relief until the new part gets in and replaced. He also gave us more information about our warranty. Greatly appreciated!

Chris S. Came to check out an issue we were having with our unit. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took his time to explain what needed to be done. If we have any issues with our HVAC in the future, I would ask for him specifically to come out. Thanks again!

Chris was able to resolve out problem in a short time and was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and we would recommend him to other clients of Caryl Mechanicals.

Carl was very professional, thorough, and kind! We felt very comfortable with him in our home around our children and pets, very friendly guy who enjoys his job! Would definitely recommend him and his company!

Shortly after moving into our new rental home, we noticed that a couple of rooms weren't getting any air conditioning—despite the vents already being open for each room. Chris S. arrived and had all of our issues resolved in minutes! He was so friendly and attentive (calling to update us on his ETA a couple of times before even arriving). And he was not bothered at all that I managed to miss every call and immediately call him right back. Chris also took a minute to help us improve our air filter and thermostat habits in order to make things smarter, easier, and hands-free for us going forward. We're feeling so much more comfortable and relieved thanks to all of his help. Thank you, Chris! We'll definitely call you back if we need anything else in the future.

Carlos did an awesome job. My HVAC was not working properly. Carlos went straight in my attic. Perform an routine inspection of my HVAC recognize the problem and provided a quick solution. Carlos also provided awesome suggestion in changing out my filters on a 30 day notice. Thank You Carlos.... I highly recommend his HVAC services.

Recently ran into an issue where neither my cooling nor my heating would work - a less than ideal situation going into the colder months. Called Caryl Mechanical and they sent Chris out to diagnose the problem. Chris was very friendly and let me watch the whole time as he troubleshot the issues on the units outside and upstairs, explaining everything as he went along.
After finding the problem, he explained what it would take to fix, and he was back a few days later with parts to repair it. After about 5 hours, he had the system fully functional again, and even did some extras like cleaning the outside unit and replacing the emergency drain pan. He even took some before-and-after pictures so I could see the extent of the work he did. While I hope I don't have any more HVAC issues for a few years, if I do then I'll be glad if they send Chris back out to fix them. -
Chris S. was very prompt and courteous!
He fixed the issue and adjusted air flow!
Highly recommend him for any AC/HEAT issues! -
I never write reviews, but for something as serious as gas lines in homes...this deserves one. We recently had Caryl Mechanicals performing fall maintenance on our two year old HVAC system (one that they installed) and experienced a serious safety issue. During their visit, the technician noticed a gas leak in our attic. He admitted he could smell it but told us it was “fine” and that repairing it would cost a few hundred dollars.
Concerned, we immediately called Enbridge Gas, and their technician arrived promptly. He was appalled that Caryl Mechanicals would leave our home with an active gas leak and allow us to continue using our furnace. He spent 20 minutes fixing the issue and said it should never have cost what we were quoted. He also said the Caryl tech should be seriously questioned because he left the gas on while telling us that there was an evident leak. He led us to believe we could continue using the furnace safely.
When we called Caryl Mechanicals and spoke directly to Caryl, he showed no concern whatsoever and stood by his technician. This is completely unacceptable. He offered no remorse or understanding of our worry in this situation. Even if he stood by his tech he should be serious about our safety concern in our HOME and offer to give a second look himself. I am absolutely disheartened.
Not only this, but during our spring maintenance he told us that we needed a $400 component for our AC. We declined and we are now skeptical that both spring and fall we have been told we need maintenance for our TWO year old system that we didn't need.
Do not use Caryl Mechanicals for your HVAC maintenance or any sort of service. That said, please make sure to get your furnace tested and assessed as heating season ramps up—it’s better to be safe than sorry. -
Chris S is the best! He came to replace a defective part in my brand new furnace, and after replacing it, he discovered another defective part that needed to be replaced before the furnace could be used. It was a cold New Year's Eve day, and Chris didn't want to leave me without heat for another night; so he drove over an hour to pick up the new part, and then back again to replace the defective one. What a guy! Thank you, Chris!

Anthony was great! He not only fixed my HVAC, but took the time to explain a few things to me, and answered all my questions. Professional, knowledgeable and patient with a new homeowner! I am now warm and comfortable in my home.

Whoever is driving van 132 should be taught on how to properly operate a motor vehicle. I witnessed them merging from 485 to 77 and almost rear-ended someone because they weren’t paying attention and then proceeded to drive very aggressively and speed up 77 in the HOV/toll road lane. They were also driving nearly bumper-to-bumper on the person in front of them and swerving excessively.

I’d give negative stars if I could. They are contracted through our home builder to provide warranty services. Our heat has now gone out twice within 10 days. They fixed it the first time and said they had installed a relay that would prevent the fuse from blowing again, well here we are 10 days later and no heat again. Called first thing this morning (Saturday) and they won’t come check it until Monday afternoon. More than 48 hours from us reporting it. They are supposed to provide 24/7 emergency repair for our community through the warranty. The person answering calls is very rude, we were told they didn’t have anyone in our area and wouldn’t until Monday. For real? That’s when you send someone to the area to stand behind your work. Absolutely ridiculous.

I moved into a new construction home where Caryl Mechanicals installed the HVAC. Shortly after move-in, the heating unit failed completely. I followed their specific emergency procedure and called on Sunday at 1:00 PM. Despite the "emergency" designation, I was told no one was on call and I would have to wait until Monday morning.
Monday came and went with no communication and a total "no-call, no-show." When I called to follow up, I was told they had "nobody in the area" and pushed my appointment back yet again to Tuesday.
It is completely unprofessional to leave a homeowner without heat for 48+ hours in a brand-new home while failing to honor scheduled windows. If you are a builder or a homeowner, be aware that their "emergency" support is non-existent. -
Caryl mechanicals was very responsive to my concerns and sent Brayden S. To investigate the heat pump issue I was having. Brayden was very professional and helpful and explained the system operation to me. He changed a setting and made sure it was working properly before leaving. Thanks Brayden !!!!

Absolutely unacceptable service and apparently incompetent workers. They installed a part BACKWARDS on the HVAC of my BRAND NEW townhome, which is causing the unit to constantly freeze up and shut down. I have not had a functioning AC since Friday, and they claim they can’t come back out until Monday morning at 8. If you’re the warranty company servicing the builder, and YOU screwed up install, then you should be willing to make it right immediately. Send the owner out if you don’t have any techs available. There are better companies out there. Stay away!

Christopher S. Was great, he explained how the system works, what he needed to do to help quiet the fan. Also explained how to keep the 2 thermostats within 1 degree of each other to get the full benefit from the unit. He was every friendly and a pleasure to talk too. A++++ worker and company.
