My heater stopped working 1/21/26 and within an hour they had a great service technician, his name is Tay, and he did an excellent job, was very thorough and got it working again quickly. I have used Rural plumbing for probably 25 years and I’ve never been disappointed whether it’s plumbing or HVAC. I appreciate you.

These folks have provide HVAC and General Mechanical Services at our medium/large sized business campus for three years now. Very responsive to our calls/emails, and have always provided reasonable and sound solutions and prices. Definitely recommend .

The HVAC team is fantastic. They do our commercial HVAC preventive maintenance and the units are now in better shape than they have been with several other companies. They are also very quick to respond to any issues on any other HVAC related issues my facility has, commercial or residential. The crew members are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and the work is affordable. Glad we found this company!

I have used Carolina Custom for years and always get great service! If we have an issue , they come promptly and explain the issue to us and fix it. Replaced my A/C for much cheaper than others!

Michael has been managing 24 A/C units at my shopping plaza for the past 15 years. He is always prompt, does a superb job to satisfaction and is a pleasure to work with, I highly recommend him!

If, you go with them, double check after them. Two guys came out from Carolina Custom and Heating to do a vapor barrier. They were supposed to return a month later to check it. And, they were supposed to do mold removal and insulation as well. They did not staple the vapor barrier down, and it's cut terrible. I overheard one of the guys tell the other not to worry about stapling it. That the barrier would never move. The other person stayed under there will the one went for a smoke. I figured he was fixing it. They probably thought I would ever go under the house to see it. After 6 weeks I called and spoke to Michael about returning to finish the work. He said he'd call me back. He did not. I called the next day and left a message, he never returned my call. If you don't want the work, don't say you'll do it. And, if things change be professional and return a phone call to a customer that paid you. And, send guys to do the job correctly. People that are happy with them either got guys to do the job right, or didn't check the work done.

Not sure how they stay in business. This company was personally responsible for months of delays in our new home and many others on the road. When we finally did get in all we are doing is finding issues with their work. Let me list the issue. Gas leak in hot water tank, All vents installed were bent and cracked the drywall( not one but all), and for the the granddaddy of them all --they never installed any of the dampers in the house. Tell me how you can install a damper board and not wire it and not even install the dampers. TERRIBLE. I have requested that they never step foot on my property again , i will pay another company verse having them fix all the warranty issues. If Google had negative stars i would have used that!

It is a pleasure to work with Michael at Carolina Custom HVAC. He has maintained my HVAC systems for the last 10 years. He is always very prompt in handling any issues and I am very satisfied with his work.

Mike installed my Goodman HVAC many years ago and it is still running long and strong even on the hottest summer days. I would recommend calling Mike for any of you HVAC needs. He has always treated me very fair and professional.

Mike has been taking care of all my family's HVAC needs for close to 20 years. Very good prices, prompt service and he knows what he's doing. From the full replacement of the system, to annual service calls. He's the best in the business.

Mike has since retired, but when he was in business, he serviced my mother-in-law’s heating and air and installed a high quality, brand new unit for stupid cheap. He has retired and so I don’t think they’re in business anymore, (which is a shame!) but I’m sure if you called this number he could recommend someone fantastic to help with your HVAC system!

Getting 2 hvac systems and duct replaced company was very difficult to work with. Greg never returned phone calls or texts. Work was done incorrectly and getting it fixed was next to impossible. As a general contractor myself all I can recommend is to not give them any money until you are satisfied. I’m not sure they would’ve fixed the issues if I had already paid them. 30k + job

Nick and the 6and Fix team truly saved the day. When my AC went out during the hottest week of summer, his team prioritized getting our house taken care of and quickly had techs out to diagnose and provide a solution to the problem!

I appreciate the entire team’s great communication, from the schedulers to the tech- everyone was top notch!

After identifying a leak in our upstairs bedroom, we located the root cause in the attic. Our ac pan was overflowing and the sensors had not shut the system down as they are meant to do. A technician from 6 and Fix was able to make it out to us the same evening and resolve the main issues and noticed that the sensors were never turned on. My husband confirmed that only technicians have the ability to turn these sensors on and off. Because of this, we have water damage in our guest bedroom that has required professional restoration.

We have gotten insurance involved as the repairs for the damage will be around $8K, and I have been calling and talking to people from 6 and fix, asking for support as the problem was ultimately from their negligence. We are looking to find out how they can make things right for us, as we’ve been loyal customers since they installed both of our HVAC systems. Unfortunately, I seem to be getting the run around whenever I call. The women who have answered seem understanding and sweet, they tell me they’ll forward my complaint to their supervisors and I’ll get a call back - no calls at all from anyone in management. Last time I called, I was forwarded to the manager and was sent straight to voicemail.

I’m very frustrated as these calls are taking time out of my day and getting me nowhere!

Update: I received a call after this review was posted and this has now been raised to the appropriate group to be resolved. Leaving at 4 stars for now as the communication has been very open since the right people were notified.

6&Fix provides amazing service including emergency visits after normal working hours when my plumbing backed up and same day service for my HVAC repair.They are helpful and reasonably priced. And I felt good about supporting a local family run business!

Tech was on time and courteous. He finished his work and was happy to answer any questions. Even had filters delivered while he was there.

The 6&Fix team is always very professional. They arrived early and did a great job. Both Jacob and Ahmed were knowledgeable and courteous.

The plumber Cal was superb. He was friendly. He fixed what needed to be fixed and cleaned up well after himself.

Quick, same-day service. Friendly, efficient tech. He explained to me everything he did and sent a detailed report with photos.

After my house AC compressor decided to give up the ghost in the middle of the night on a weekend…. I called 9 places…. And these guys not only answered the phone, they treated me like a human being and got out to me first thing on Monday; by early afternoon my house was freezing! Perfection! Throughout the whole process, everything was clearly set up in a streamlined system created to make it as easy as possible for me as the stressed-out and slightly overheated customer. Nick & Matt were fantastic, thorough, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I’d hands-down work with them again should the need arrive.

Jay was one hour early, very polite, efficient and did a great job!! 6&Fix is my GO TO HVAC company for my personal home and my clients!!! Highly recommend!!!
