I had an outside leak which caused my water bill to jump to $500. Richard came out right away to assess what needed to be done. The leak was found quickly and repaired for which I am very thankful. Great service at a great price.

At first it was great, I called and left a message and Richard called me back and said he was able to get out to give a quote same day and said the work could be done the following day. However, this is where the problems began. I never received the quote he promised via email and would not return any of the multiple phone calls over the next few days. He would not even return a call to indicate if he was interested in doing the work. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would not recommend his company to anyone who actually wants any work done.

I recently contacted Richard McMinis of North Raleigh Plumbing to install a gas line, and his professionalism was outstanding. Upon reviewing my property, Richard politely informed me that I didn’t actually have a gas line available. Despite this, he was extremely helpful, taking the time to explain the situation clearly and offer alternative solutions.

He was ahead of schedule, arrived on time, and maintained a polite, professional demeanor throughout the entire interaction. His pricing was also very reasonable. I highly recommend Richard and North Raleigh Plumbing for anyone seeking reliable, knowledgeable service—his expertise and professionalism are top-notch.

Richard was friendly and helpful. He came out the next day to give me an estimate for replacing mynblue.poly mainlime since it was leaking. His team and he came out when scheduled. The ground was extremely wet from the leak and days of rain but they did not rip up my yard even dealling with numerous roots and other lines that had not been marked. The cost was still what Richard told me it would be. Great work and a good man. Will recomend him to anyone who needa a plumber.

Do not use! I chose John Hutchins’ company because he seemed very knowledgeable and was priced reasonably. The project started off well enough to get the big draws, but then started dragging and dragging. It was like pulling teeth to get them to do work. Finally they just stopped showing up. I had another plumber come in to finish the job. The mistakes he had to correct from John’s guys have cost me thousands of dollars.

Used them for shower repair after a valve issue. The evaluation took time, but the fix addressed the root cause. Everything works smoothly now.

Our water heater installation required some space adjustments. The team communicated each step and checked safety items. The work area was left tidy. Hot water recovery has improved.

​I needed a quick tap repair for a leaky faucet that was keeping me awake at night. The service was scheduled for the next morning and the plumber was very professional about the whole thing. It was a minor job but they treated it with a lot of care.

​The team came by for a plumbing pipe repair after we noticed a damp spot on the ceiling. They were careful while cutting into the drywall and explained exactly where the seal had failed. I appreciate that they didn't try to upsell me on a full repipe of the house.

Pool plumbing repair isn’t easy to schedule, but they fit us in. The consultation covered pressure loss and minor leaks. Repair took a bit longer due to access, but communication was steady. Pool system is running smoothly again.

We settled on a plan that fit my budget and the team started the work the following Monday. They stayed on schedule and the quality of the pipe repair seems very solid.

I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to the staff at the Raleigh, Nc and Hartford, SC locations. They went above and beyond to help me get what i needed to fix a septic problem in time for a wedding. I showed up at the Raleigh location at 3pm on a Friday afternoon in need of supplies to fix a septic drain field i damaged at a client's house. They didn't have the items i needed and I wouldn't be able to make it to the Hartford, SC location before they closed. I explained to them my clients had a wedding on Monday and was willing to drive where ever I had to to pick it up if i could pay for it over the phone and they leave it outside for me when they closed. So they allowed me to go ahead and pay at the Raleigh, NC location and notified the Hartford, SC location that I was on the way, but it would be shortly after 5pm before I would be there, and what my situation was. Shortly later I received a with a picture showing me and explaining exactly where my stuff was located. When I arrived in Hartford my stuff was exactly where they said it would be. If everyone in the world was half as helpful as the staff at these two locations the world would be a much better place
