I contacted Best to get my furnace winter ready. The service tech arrived, went to my basement. Within 5 minutes he called me down and told me I was going to need a new furnace motor. There has never been any issues with my furnace except for occasionally needing to clean the flame sensor. He was finished with the entire service call in approx 10 minutes. I was charged $130 for the visit and given an estimate of $375 plus $85/hr labor for a new motor. (Which by the way, Best never attempted to consider the amount I had just paid for a 10 minute inspection.)
I attempted to contact the owner to discuss my concerns. Left him a message and after waiting for 3 days, he still has never returned my call.
It was very unprofessional and I consider $130 for a tech to only do a visual check (nothing else) of my furnace was an absolute overcharge.

By the way, I am using my furnace with no apparent issues.

Great work by these guys. Professional from the initial call to finished work. Jay helped managed the repair time when I had to change it twice. Tech called 30 min out, and was extremely knowledgable and efficient. I had used two other companies previously and not satisfied. Best did great work at a fair price. Highly recommend!

Can’t say enough about this company and in particular the service rep Tony Ott. During Covid, I had a broken water heater and I couldn’t get anyone to come out and work on it so someone gave me the referral of Tony and when I called he came right out Not only did he fix my water heater, but I had recently purchased this house and it had a Reznor furnace. It’s huge and it had some issues. I had called companies in the past that did not work on Reznors. It was my luck that Tony was familiar with this type of furnace and he was able to fix that as well. Since that time I have referred him on to many family and friends, and they have all been very pleased with this company and this service rep. Thank you Tony and Best Energy Solutions Heating and Cooling in Akron!! You Rock!!

Our service provider was Nick. He was amazing… friendly, professional, he went above and beyond expectations to make sure the job was done efficiently, correctly, safely. What a great employee!

Tony Ott installed a new Trane furnace for me. He did an incredible job. Was very communicative, honest, determined and thorough! He’s the best in the business and I’d recommend him 10 time out of 10!!!

Kendrick was awesome and very personalble and helpful...did an awesome job was a joy to have him come in and work on our ice machine..and even got our new ice machine ordered without delay!!!!!

Kenderick recently serviced all of our overhead heaters in our warehouse in preparation for winter. He was efficient, knowledgeable, thorough, courteous, and professional. He did a great job, and I highly recommend him!

I used Best for my new furnace and AC replacement. They did an amazing job and the price was no match for others. They were quick and hauled away the old equipment and cleaned up all mess. Everything works perfect. Loving my new Trane system and my energy bills dropped dramatically with the new system as well. Highly recommend them for your heating and cooling services.
