I’m not getting paid anything for saying this. Take my advice and do not waste your time shopping around for a better price or service. Every single step was nothing short of professional. From the time I scheduled service to the time when the installers left.
And I saved money and got an even more powerful HVAC system than I had before!!!!

These guys are the best in akron and should be your first stop for business. East Ohio responded quickly and got my furnace working in a few hours even having to grab a spare part for my model, very professional, amazing work!

I have used East Ohio Furnace Company for several years and have always found them to be great--several guys have come out for service at and/or annual maintenance and they have all been professional, thorough, and reasonable each and every time. Highly recommend them!

Called 345 waited 2 hours heard from no one. Called back was told never turned in my call. Now 930 pm still heard from no one. Called said was turned in to manager still never heard from no one. Furnace out now heat. I have had enough had to call another company . 😡never call this company.

East Ohio Furnace did my HVAC in our new house. Very professional and great at what they do. I highly suggest if you have any issues or need a new house completed to call them!

This is a Great Company they actually diagnosed my issue and came three days in a row until the job was done right. I had 2 other companies for the same issue and those companies did the “basics”. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Be ware! They will try to tell you that extra work is needed, that is not required by code which can result in thousands of extra dollars. Jessie their sales/pricing representative is the culprit. The onsite technicians do a very nice job and are very respectful. It's a shame when the field technicians are good, but you can not trust their pricing. And their was not mutual agreement on pricing!

Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable technicians. Ryan repaired our air conditioner. He was very professional. I highly recommend East Ohio furnace and will be calling them to do a furnace check before winter.

We had a minor issue with the air conditioner. The evaporater, had a small leak. Matt went over and above and beyond to make sure that everything was done right. I would highly recommend him and your company.

So I had to use this company through my home warranty. Took 4 visits for them to realize I needed an entire new furnace. Replaced it on Nov 4th and 34 days later the circuit board went bad and the whole thing stopped working. Came out, “fixed” it and a week later, same issue. Please send me someone who knows what they’re doing

What a great honest company! A previous contractor told me a new furnace would cost 8 thousand. I called and the repair man came out same day and fixed my issue no problem. A++ Would Recommend

It was 12 degrees out at 10PM on a Sunday night when my furnace died. Kyle from East Ohio was over within the hour and expertly solved the problem. He saved me from missing work on Monday and was extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend using East Ohio Furnace Co. I had a heating issue and East Ohio Furnace was very professional and timely. The service man, Matt, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained exactly what was going on and fixed my problem. The office personnel were also friendly and very helpful. I will use East Ohio Furnace Co in the future.

My first experience was through a home warranty years ago for a A/C replacement/installation. They came, they installed, and the technicians couldn't have been more professional. In fact, one of the techs showed me how to get an oil stain out of the driveway using PVC primer. Thanks!

Since then I have called on them several times to make repairs to my furnace or A/C as needed. They always answer, and every time they have been able to make it same day. The technicians that arrive are all very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They are the kind of folks you'd have a beer with.

Was a little skeptical at first because I had a “10am-2pm” scheduled for no cool air from my AC unit (heat pump) that turned into me calling in twice to see what the status of my appointment was. I read a lot of mixed reviews about home warranty repairs so I was a little nervous on top of that because I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a full system replacement issue. Service man eventually showed up about 3:45pm and took a glance and fixed the issue in less than 15 minutes. From assessment to diagnosis to repair, 15 mins. Glad he knew what he was doing and he was very professional. Would recommend based on my experience but would also recommend EOF Company to communicate a little better. It just makes things a little cleaner. Gave 5 stars.

Update:
09/12/22 Had them out again for a completely different issue. Outstanding customer service and technicians. They called me before they came out, got here within their scheduled window and did a stellar job on my minisplit that wasn’t cooling.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. They came out in 2020 to replace my AC through my home warranty. I have had numerous issues since then and finally just got another company to conduct a leak test. There are THREE leaks from a shoddy installation. An o-ring is missing and two additional joists are leaking. East Ohio Furnace does not stand by their work and when I called to talk to someone about the quality of the install, I was told the unit itself is under warranty so I could find another company to conduct a leak test. What I would have preferred is that they install it correctly the first time so I didn't have to fill a new unit with refrigerant twice in two years. Minimally, it would have been nice for them to do the leak test and repair their own sub-par installation and refill the unit with coolant. I am SO thankful for Budget HVAC for all of the excellent service they have provided. Really shining a light on how inept (or perhaps just lazy) East Ohio technicians are.

Our Home Warranty took forever to mail the new furnace but EOF was always in touch with us and kept us updated throughout the entire process. I cannot review other services or products because we didn't really deal with them directly in that matter. However, the 2 technicians that came to our house from the first time they came in, were very professional, respectful of our property, always on time, and communicated very well with us from the get go. It took us almost a month from the 1st call to our home warranty until the replacement of our furnace, but they made sure to schedule installation as soon as they received it in the mail.

I just had my AC serviced and was extremely happy with the service Alex provided. They're always honest, deliver great service and don't try to upsell. This is why I purchased a furnace from them recently.

Had some issues with this company in the past but Matt came out and fixed everything and more. He went above and beyond to fix the rattling sound in our furnace, which the previous tech who came out twice did not fix. Matt went put to grab a furnace fan/cylinder and come back determined to fix it same day. Furnace fan is silent now, everything is wired correctly and the AC feels incredible. If you decide to hire this company for your HVAC issues, ask for Matt if he's avaliable.

The first time that they came to my house was on a service call for my furnace set up by my home warranty campany.
They did not have the correct part with them. Instead of making a 45 minute round trip to the shop and back to my house, they sent another serviceman out with the part so my heat could be back on quickly. I was impressed and scheduled them to clean and service my air conditioner.
In my opinion, a good and reliable company.
