We were very pleased with the work Dry Effect did in our home in Cincinnati in Feb. 2019. A crew, led by Dave D., responded to our call for help for water in the basement within a couple of hours. Much work was done removing waterlogged carpet and padding, removing standing water over a period of days, and providing industrial dehumidifiers and large drying fans. The Dry Effect employees were very respectful of our home as they worked, and gave us genuine consideration when calculating the charges for their services over a 10-day period. The company worked well with our insurance adjuster to make sure our coverage was maximized. As the equipment was being removed on the final day of work in our basement, both Dave and I said we hoped we would not meet again, but should we need services again, I would not hesitate to call Dry Effect in the Cincinnati area.

We rarely write reviews - but Dry Effect has been so great - we wanted to share our experience. We returned home late on Saturday, Feb 24 to find standing water in our finished basement. It turned out that our sump pump failed. Our plumber recommended that we call Dry Effect - and I am so glad we did. I was a bit frazzled when I called, but Bobbi Jo was so friendly and was able to get a team to our house that Sunday afternoon. (They extracted over 300 gallons of water from our carpet/pad in the first 4 hours). They set several humidifiers and fans (and checked humidity levels each day). They did a flood cut on our drywall and removed our ruined carpet, pad, and baseboard. I want to share that every single person (Josh, Nick, Bryan, Terah, Kyle, Hugh) who came to our house has been professional, friendly, and hard working. Bobbi Jo and Nick were absolutely great helping us navigate the entire process and went above and beyond to help us with the documentation requirements of both the insurance company and the mortgage company. Dry Effect truly provided us "calm in the eye of the storm". We now have new carpet, pad, drywall, baseboard (both freshly painted). I could not be happier with the finished result - and can say unequivocally that Dry Effect has given us the best customer service that we have ever had with any company. If you are facing a water crisis in your basement - this is the company to call.

Unfortunately, I have required the services of Dry Effect at least 5 times! Each and every time, they rushed to my house, dried it out after a variety of water leaks, then repaired everything perfectly. So kind and very professional. They worked with my insurance seamlessly. I know I will forget someone, but Bobbi Jo, Dave, Nick, Adam, Michelle, and many others have been so great to us when we were having a crisis. They are so trustworthy they have the code to get in my house and come and go as needed even when we are out of town!

Dry effect was out to our house within 30 minutes of my call. The team did a thorough job of demoing and hauling away everything that was in contact with the water from our sewer drain. I would use them again and recommend Dry Effect for those that need help with water or sewer damage. They get a 5 star rating in my book!

Our basement was flooded due to a failed sump pump while I was out of town. My wife called Dry Effect and they got to my home and began mitigation immediately. Their staff calmed my wife's fears and explained to her what needed to be done. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend them!

My fiancée and I purchased a new home(to us) that needed some work done in the basement for mold remediation and some cracks needing repair that were seeping a small amount of water in the basement. Dry Effect came in with a respectable quote compared to the other quotes we received, their work was stellar, their contact and professionalism was stellar and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing remediation in their home. They went above and beyond protecting the items that were staying in the area and Went so far as to hand wipe down some items that were covered in some dust. Wonderful to work with and kept us in the loop throughout the process! Hopefully we will never need any of these services again but if we do, Dry effect will be the company we call!

Dry Effect was extremely easy and wonderful to work with. They responded quickly to our service request when our basement flooded, did an outstanding job with mitigation and repair, and made sure that we were satisfied every step of the way. Before Nick from Dry Effects visited for a free estimate on possible mold in the bathroom and attic,I had another company come in for an estimate. I was told ( after testing with their equipment) that I had mold damage in the attic, the venting up there was insufficient and I needed insulation. He also did not have a ladder with him so I had to trudge to the basement and trudge back up again carrying the ladder!!
Nick came on time ( with a ladder) and on inspection said I had no mold in the attic nor did I need any insulation. It was probably my exhaust fan and the long hot showers! It’s rare to find such honesty! The only suggestion I would make is it would be great if the technician wore dust/dirt covers on the shoes especially in bedrooms and bathrooms. Anyway, next time I need help, I know who to call! DRY EFFECT!

Excellent service and quality of work. Darrin was very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to address my concerns and offer suggestions. He even took the time to fix a gap in my return ductwork that was not sealed properly. It's great to see a company that seems to value helping the customer more than pushing as many costs/services as they can. I was impressed with both Nick, who did an inspection for mold and Darrin, who did all the duct work cleaning. I plan to hire Dry Effect anytime I need a service that they provide.

I live in a condo, and my neighbor’s unit flooded on Thanksgiving, which caused water to seep into my unit. The next morning I called another company who said they would call me back and have someone out within a few hours. After following up a few hours later, waiting a couple hours more, and still not receiving a call back I called the team at Dry Effect.

They were out at my home, assessed the situation, and had blowers up and running before the other company called me back. The next day (Saturday) they came back with vacuum mats early in the morning to accommodate the fact that I was traveling out of town to visit family that day. They came out a couple days later and weren’t satisfied that my floors were dry enough, so they repositioned the equipment and came back again the next day.

Bobbi Jo at the front office was incredibly patient in giving me the time to try to resolve the situation with my neighbor’s insurance, and then with my own insurance after my neighbor’s insurance refused to pay.

When dealing with something as stressful as flooding and potential water damage, having a responsive, competent team like the folks at Dry Effect makes the situation much more bearable. I know who I’ll call if I ever need emergency water remediation services in the future!

I highly recommend Dry Effect. I returned home from out of town at 11 pm to find flooding in a bathroom and bedroom.
We called them around 8am the next morning and by 3 pm they had set up a dehumidifier, removed wet carpet removed wet drywall and calmed me down!
Each step worked in tandem with the next so that after drying, the repair fell into place.
Everyone was professional, did a wonderful job and the office was very responsive.
I hope I don’t need them again but if I do I would never go to any other business.

I had a significant amount of water damage a couple months ago in my basement that I discovered over the weekend around 9-10pm
I called Dry Effect right away and received a call back within 5-10 minutes. They offered to come out within the hour but I had them come the next morning after fixing my water pressure regulator. They got everything cleaned and carpet removed over a few days and were extremely helpful with the whole process and dealing with insurance. Anytime I called having a question I would get an answer or call back within an hour. The final price ended up being a good less than originally quoted. All of their employees who came out were friendly and mindful of working through my house. Great company and great people! I would definitely recommend

Very honest and backed everything they said using special meters and other equipment. Prices were a lot more reasonable then i planned on.

James got my place cleaned up and dried quickly and at the right price. He was respectful and shared some pointers for DIY repairs I could do myself. They even let me keep the fans and dehumidifiers over the weekend (3 additional days) at no additional cost because humidity in my basement was still high after 2 days drying.

I had ~1-2 inches of water from flash floods but it was all drained once Dry Effect arrived. I stripped out the carpet/baseboards and did a 1-foot flood cut myself to save some money. Would definitely recommend for quick and effective service at the right price.

The Dry Effect team did a great job. Our project started with a different company and after what was supposed to take 2-4 days was still ongoing after 4 weeks, we knew it was time to call in a different company. We talked with a couple different companies but ultimately decided on Dry Effect given their reviews and thorough approach to ensure all mold would be remediated. Nick was helpful in answering questions and came out before, during and after to ensure the work was completed and met our expectations. Dave, Andre and a third employee were super friendly, worked efficiently and did a great job cleaning up the work area. Communication with the entire Dry Effect team was always prompt and they were in and out in a week. Very satisfied and I would certainly recommend Dry Effect.

We count ourselves very lucky we found this company. We had a water issue in our master bath of our two story home. It flooded the master bath, the living and dining room downstairs and damaged the basement ceiling and walls which were smooth finished drywall. Dry Effect came in, hung plastic effectively closing off the damaged rooms and removed the damaged floors and walls to begin the drying process. The had our furniture and belongings in these rooms professionally packed and stored off site during the restoration process. We had just remodeled the living and dining room two years ago, and it looks now like the damage had never occurred. The were respectful, friendly, and responsive whenever we contacted them. We have had to use a mitigation company one other time, and I would give this one a huge recommendation over the other. The project manager kept all the subcontractors rolling, one following the other so there was no major delays. He stopped by frequently to ensure that all subcontractors were completing the jobs to his standards, which were quite high. All the dry effect employees treated our home like it was theirs, making the restoration painless and stress less! If you have an emergency, I would recommend Dry Effect.
