Made an appointment on line for someone to fix our ice maker and received an email that it was scheduled between 9-1. The day they were supposed to be here I sat for 4 hours waiting - called at halfway through the 4 hour window as I hadn't heard anything and the receptionist said they would be here closer to 1 and they would call 20-30 minutes out. At the end of the 4 hour window I called again and they said oh looks like he is going to be another hour or so. I asked them to cancel the appointment and also asked why they don't inform their customers of delays or call with an approximation of the time they will be there. The man at the phone was pleasant and apologized but he was just filling in for the woman at lunch, but he agreed someone should have contacted me to let me know. So wasted an entire morning waiting on them. Will not be using them again.

Service technician, Tylor, was very professional, prompt and did an amazing job on my refrigerator repair. Overall, customer service was amazing and they were able to get me scheduled quickly. Front office staff was very professional as well. Highly recommend this company for any appliance repair.

i made an appointment 5/21 for them to come out 5/25 between 1-5 i was told i would receive a call 30 minutes before. At 445 i called and was told they were running behind. 6pm still nobody ever showed up. i called again 5/27 and was told sorry we can come out 5/28 between 1-5 and i would get a call 45 minutes before. its now 6pm on 5/28 and still no call and no show. would not recommend

Don't make the same $107 mistake I did! I called this company because our dishwasher was periodically showing error codes and not working. I am fairly handy so prior to calling, I did the normal maintenance items and researched online and it seemed like it could be one of a few fairly standard issues that I didn't want to deal with so thought a trained professional could easily diagnose and fix. However, when the technician arrived, he did the exact same thing thing I was doing: searching online, youtube videos, etc. even prior to doing any kind of diagnostics. I thought that was odd to rely on potentially non-professionals to determine the fix. He then proceeded to take things apart and aimlessly settle on one part to replace but said he had no clue if it was even the issue fixing the error codes and he would have to order the $200 part and come back to repair at a significant cost for labor as well. Because of this he recommended just replacing the dishwasher, which of course I knew was a possibility all along, but once I agreed that is what I would likely do, I have never seen a repairman move so fast to put the dishwasher back together and re-install. It was like he was so relieved to finally be off the hook for actually figuring out/fixing what was wrong with the dishwasher and he was gone in about 3 minutes! Beware when you use this company!

My oven had been leaking CO. Columbia Gas checked it because my house would smell of gas badly when baking and within 1min of having the oven on when Columbia Gas was there the meter went over 50 ppm for the CO reading. Columbia Gas said not to use the oven and get it checked. They turned the gas on to the oven off and told me I can't use it.
The technician from Central Ohio Appliance said he wasn't turning the oven on the get a reading because they always let off some gas. I explained yes but for it to let off over 50 ppm in less than 1 minute is not normal and something is wrong with the oven because in no time that level would reach a dangerous point. He said he didn't know what 50 ppm CO reading meant. He then said he wasn't sure what was wrong with my oven but they could start with replacing 2 parts that totalled over $600.00. He also told me I should just get a new oven. They still charged me the full service fee of $107.00 even though this technician had no idea what he was doing. I asked if he'd consider reducing the fee and he said no. I really feel I should get the fee refunded as this technician was clueless and now I have to find someone else to look at my oven.

I have a service warranty on my washer that is a joke. They sent parts and a service person twice that had nothing to do with extremely annoying high pitched sound. After two months of the run around I called Central Ohio Appliance Repair they came diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. True professionals. Thank you so very much.

Joe arrived promptly, after calling me 30 min before as promised, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in no time ! This company has top notch service and service people. You can rely on them 100%z I highly recommend them for any and all appliances. You won’t be disappointed.

Tyler was wanting to argue about the rate and when I said to him to go ahead and fix the dryer first he made an excuse to go into his vehicle and drove off. Atrocious service and rude behavior and a person who did not have all the information.

There's three words that I can say about the service "Job Well Done"! From the time I placed my call to explain my problems with my washer I was assured with a peace of mind. And to add to my blessings, the service was on time, had good energy, was well organized, respectful, went out his way to make sure that my washer would be fixed. Thank you sir!

Greg did a great job sleuthing out the issue with our dishwasher. It took some time to pinpoint, but we were satisfied with the result. It’s good to have an expert you can trust. He was on time, called about 15-20 minutes before he arrived, and was very knowledgeable about the product. I will definitely call Central Ohio Appliance if Hilliard again when I need them.

Greg did not have the part and came back the next day to finish the job. I was very grateful.

On July 8, 2024, a service technician from Central Ohio Appliance Repair "fixed" the clogged defrost drain in my refrigerator unit, which cost $205.16. No new parts were installed as that was not necessary per the technician, so the cost covered the standard service call and labor rate.

In early December 2024, it was evident the problem was not "fixed" but was only temporarily repaired. When I called Central Ohio Appliance Repair about the recurring problem, I was advised by Morgan (call representative) that my repair was only good for 3 months. Since I was outside of the 3 month window, I would have to pay another $99.95 for a "standard service call" at a minimum, plus labor and parts (as applicable). Although disappointing to hear given what was previously represented about the alleged "repair" on July 8, I kindly asked if I could speak to someone in the service/repair department to get a better sense of my options before deciding whether it would be worth paying another $100 service call (just for someone to come look at the same refrigerator with the same problem as the one they previously "repaired" months earlier). I have called back three times in two weeks, and no one returns my calls despite assurances otherwise. I have left repeated messages with Morgan, who continues to advise me that Robert (the service manager) will call me back. Robert has never called me back despite my best efforts. This is extremely frustrating, especially when I'm merely asking to speak to someone for 5 minutes to understand my options. I'm not a person who complains incessantly or leaves bad reviews of businesses. I'm only taking this route because I cannot get the basic courtesy of a returned call over the last few weeks.

This is the last time I will use Central Ohio Appliance Repair, and I urge others to be cautious before making the same mistake as I did.

A service technician was scheduled the same day I called. They knew what the problem was, what was needed and pricing. The ice maker had to be replaced. Ordered the replacement and came back out pretty quick and was done in less than an hour. Very thorough and answered my questions and explained what happened with ice maker and why it needed to be replaced. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Central Ohio Appliance Repair.

Timely and efficient service. They offered pragmatic advice, recommendations for the future, and made no attempts at upselling or promoting pricey options. Will DEFINITELY call again for any appliance issues!
