My husband and I called to have Mike come out to help us with water hammer. Mike has done work for us before and we were happy with his work. Unfortunately, this time we were really disappointed.

We have a water hammer, and unfortunately, because Mike couldn't hear it while he was here, he dismissed it and said it wasn't urgent. That's exactly why we had him come out! We don't want it to become an urgent problem!
We were hoping he'd have a solution so it doesn't become urgent!

After doing my research, and reading about the issue, Mike could've offered a number of solutions. Instead he left without offering us any solutions.
He could've drained the lines, strapped the pipes, or installed an arrestor. Instead we continue to have the problem and need to hire another plumber and start all over again. I'm really disappointed in Mike.

Needless to say, we were incredibly disappointed in Mike. He didn't offer any solutions and now we have to hire another plumber to do the work Mike didn't do. For that reason, I don't recommend Mike or McDermott Plumbing.

We called McDermott Plumbing for a suspected shower leak. Mike very thoroughly checked every element of the shower, its surroundings, and the crawl space underneath the bathroom, and discovered that the only problem we have is overzealous showering and splashing. He was extremely kind and professional about our issue and refused to be paid for the service call when there was nothing to repair. We appreciate his great communication (a call on the way, plus a bonus call ahead of time to update us on what part of the arrival window he'd arrive in) and overall forthrightness. I almost hope we have a real problem soon so that we can call McDermott Plumbing again.

Mike cleared a drain for me in an older steel pipe that my snake could not budge. He did a great job clearing it and gave me advice to keep the drain flowing. Very good service. Highly recommended.

When you find a service professional who is timely, efficient, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful - you should let everyone else know. This was our second experience with McDermott Plumbing and we were very pleased on both occasions. Obviously will continue to be a repeat customer moving forwards!

Michael was great, very knowledgeable and reasonable price. Skip the big name plumbing companies and do yourself a favor and go with McDermott Plumbing. Very happy with his communication and quality of work. Would definitely call them again.

Michael was fantastic! I've recommended him to our neighbors and friends. We had a kitchen sink backup. We wanted to wait for him, rather than a bigger box company, which tried to tell us all of our drain system needed to be replaced. He was much less expensive than even the big box's quote for the single kitchen sink drain replacement. We will definitely use him again.

MIchael was the best! He explained what I needed and expertly installed a new Zoeller sump pump system. He showed me the end result and pointed out the differences from my old system. He was able to use my existing back-up battery, and reduced my original quote by that amount. I will definitely use McDermott Plumbing for any future plumbing needs

Custom Care Construction contracted us to complete a job for them at Crane World Wide Logistics in Hebron, KY and told us they would pay net 30 days. I have called multiple times asking for the status of our payment and get told someone will call me back. I still haven't heard back.

Multiple phone calls, emails and still no response. I have left multiple messages with customer service and not once have I received a return call.

I did some tile jobs for this company in Indiana and never ask money at front and I pay material when the job was finished the owner chuck ball ask me why so much and wanna payme less after that he start lying about things I say if something there you don't like we here to fix but he say no we not allowed there and they don't wanna pay me more than 5,000 dollars I don't recommend this company they need to pay

I have used this company on more than one occasion. The last job that they did for me was a big one. They clearly met my expectations and completed the job to my satisfaction. I recommend them highly and will use them again myself.

Water line was leaking in my bathroom, under the floor. They were professional, on time, fixed the leak and even installed my vanity at no extra charge. Highly recommend, great service!

Needed shower leak fixed.. techs came and was clean and perfessional. Cleaned up after they were done and answered any questions I had. Definitely would call them again.

Chuck and his team did several projects for me and were always top notch with service, communication, value, and always punctual. The guys were not just there to do our projects but to show they actually cared about us! I’ll never hire another company in the Columbus area!
