I had an amazing experience with 1-Tom-Plumber. Dan was straight to work and quick to fix our leaking faucet. I also asked about adding shut off valves below our bathroom sink in which he was easily able to do. Pricing seemed fair and reasonable. We also got a pretty cool pink plunger out of it ; ) I called and they had availability day of. My only complaint, if you call it that, was they arrived earlier than scheduled appt without a call. It wasn't an issue as I was home. But all in all great experience and would use them in the future.

They showed up on time and solved an issue I'd had 2 prior plumbers look at in less than 2 hrs, for about half of what I expected it to cost. Marquez and Bindy were legit pros and I saved their card for the future.

Requested a quote and they were there the next day with a more than reasonable estimate based on other companies. Then we're on time the next morning and did an amazing job. I will call them for all of my plumbing needs from now on.

Tyler was incredibly helpful! He showed up at a moment’s notice on a Saturday afternoon and fixed our problem and left our bathroom looking great.

We had a emergency clog that caused water to pool up and leak everywhere, he fixed the issue and was a big help

The Tech Brindy did a outstanding job he was quick and explained everything before and after. He is very knowledgeable and polite I enjoyed my experience.

Very responsive company and did a great job replacing our hot water heater on a Saturday. A bit pricey but so are most of the (particularly afterhours) repair companies. Again, the work performed was done well and they showed when they said they would... I would use them again.

Technician on time did a great job repaired toilet broken floor flange, & installed new water feed. Excellent job. Highly recommend.

If I could give zero stars for my experience with 1-Tom in Columbus I would. We have used 1-Tom in Dayton multiple times and have been pleased with their service and price. This is why I chose 1-Tom for our Columbus plumbing need last weekend. 1-Tom came out to assess a ceiling leak we believe was coming from a shower. Without much checking the plumber cut a hole in our ceiling where the water had leaked instead of considering an access panel in the bedroom wall. They removed the bathtub spout which had not been previously leaking, supposedly replaced with a new one that was now pouring out water around the spout after it was “fixed”. Tried to use caulking around the spout which is completely unacceptable. They replaced our spout which was brand new and took ours with them. The plumber then said we needed a tub and shower valve replacement which would be an additional $920 after charging me $420 for basically not fixing our issue. I did not schedule this repair with 1-Tom.
My normal plumber came out 2 days later when available and stated the leaking issue is caused from the spout with a valve missing. Absolutely no reason to cut into the ceiling and if any cut was needed it should have been in the wall and an access panel to be added. They did tighten the shower head and a garbage disposed which took all of 10 minutes. I’m fine to pay for work completed but have an issue with paying this much for no repair. So now I’m in $420 for nothing, $150 for actual repair and $750 for ceiling repair. Please do not use this company. I have requested 3x to speak to a manager or owner over 3 days without any response. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB next.

UPDATE! 8/18/24 After I posted this negative review the owner called immediately. The owner was nice, understanding and offered to make it right. I did receive a check for the $420 paid to them. I am still out the $750 for ceiling repair (which is “done” but looks bad bc it’s difficult to fix popcorn ceiling and $150 for actual repair to my plumber which I understand paying. So we did get our money back for 1 Tom service but cost me $750 and a lot of headache to use them.

Rick was professional and friendly. He gave me cheaper options, and never made me feel pressured reguarding which option to go with. I will definitely call 1-Tom-Plumber the next time I need help with any plumbing problems.

The tech explained the repairs needed in a way I could understand . He did not leave any mess behind. He was also the only plumber my dog did not try to attack. So I took that as a good sign to hire 1 Tom Plumber

I loved my previous plumbers and they unfortunately are no longer in business so I tried 1-Tom. The receptionist was awesome and it was easy to schedule. I just needed a leaky shower head addressed and my hose was stuck on my outdoor spigot. I was never given an estimate before the work was done like they had said. And a few hours later I had a shower that didn't drip but also no longer got warm, a semi flooded basement, and a large bill (double what my previous plumber would've charged). The hose was removed with force that broke the indoor pipe. I understand this can happen but the plumber acted as if it was preexisting. He did fix it but I had to throw away 4 large contracting bags of valuables from my basement and spent hours drying and salvaging the rest. There was no assistance or advice given in terms of getting the water off the floor and fans blowing on the walls to prevent mold. Also initially he said it was fixed but it was still dripping however he did eventually actually fix it. Then after he left and I spent more time cleaning up I went to shower and realized it didn't get warm. The receptionist was once again very friendly and the plumber returned that day and fixed it. But it seemed like a very rookie mistake to make. Not something for which I'd just payed nearly $500. This appointment truly left me feeling a little robbed and whiplashed and definitely still in need of finding a new plumber

Tyler visited my home to fix a leaking Moen leak detector. In the end the leak detector had to be removed for it was not functioning and he did a great job replacing the water line ensuring their was no leaks prior to leaving. Great company, pleasant to work with and scheduling was very timely.

Tyler showed up, clean and courteous and fixed what needed fixed so I could tuen the water back on to my home, then went the extra mile to help walk me through what is going to be no doubt a wallet draining experience for me, as I will be replacing carpet/flooring and doing repairs to the underside of my home myself.
He had lots of good advice and helpful hints on what to focus on next, and I likely will call again once this impossible level of catastrophe is reduced back to the re-installation process of the job.

My sense of overwhelming doom has been reduced to merely mild panic!

Brindy was great in every aspect! Have never used this company before, I am also a tradesman and can say that the price we paid for his time/skill/knowledge and just the fact the type of good human you could feel that he was I would have paid double!! But don't go upcharging now lol Thank you guys very much! would have not had water tonight if it wasn't for Brindy long story short plumbing is Not one of my trades 😅

1 – Tom plumber Is the best! The two plumbers who came out and quickly addressed and fixed our issue were very professional and got things fixed super quickly. I Highly recommend you give them a call if you have any issues whatsoever!

Dan McKinney hooked us up. Did three jobs in a single visit, was patient and pleasant and did excellent work. Even gave our dog a tennis ball toy. Would highly recommend.

Marquez came to my house and helped unclog my shower drain and now it drains perfectly! He was friendly and fun. I will definitely consider more service from him in the future.

My washing machine valve was leaking so I could not get a new one delivered. Tyler came and spent time fixing the valve and did a great job. So I got my washing machine delivered the next day. Thanks.
