They sent out Arthur, who was professional and knowledgeable - he took the time to explain to me why my issue was happening, how he fixed it, and gave me an overview on the current state of my plumbing … All without breaking the bank.

Replacement of the fill valve of our toilet. Took like 5min, he was done. I'm quite independent but will not mess with plumbing or electrical. Awesome to have someone to call to fix issues promptly. When it rains it pours, needed another repair of the tub faucets & had to call them back out. We were again promptly taken care of by Matt & so pleased at the young man's manners. Thank you
So we had to have another repair done, this time the replacement of heat tape on our waterline under the house. This service was done by Ethan and yet again the company sends us the greatest professional young man. Explained everything he was doing and popped in several times to keep us informed of things found & progress made. Thank you all so much for providing an amazing service. We'll worth every penny spent.

Seth quickly and efficiently repaired the toilet, so five stars for him. However, I was disappointed that I couldn’t speak with a live person when making the appointment because I was given incorrect information during the call. Someone did call me back to correct the error, but it was overall inefficient. If I had been a new customer, I probably would have simply hung up and called a different company.

We were very happy with the speed and efficiency with which our leaky pipes and drain flies were fixed/eliminated. Arthur was very knowledgeable and explained our options. When he met an unexpected problem, he went above and beyond to help us out. So pleased to have had him as our technician. Would definitely recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing and Arthur.

We found our hot water tank to be leaking and no hot water and we needed a replacement ASAP. Looked into a few companies in Medina and Benjamin Franklin seemed to have the best reviews and customer experience, so we gave them a call at noon on a Saturday. They were able to send out a tech, Mike P, same day and he came to our house at 5 pm.

Explained Mike the situation of the tank and additionally a few other plumbing issues that we were experiencing. Mike was able to replace the hot water tank and haul out the old one in 3 hours, on the same evening!

Would definitely recommend Mike P and Benjamin Franklin when you are in dire straits with a plumbing situation. Mike P also gave us some recommendations of other issues we have and general tips to keep our plumbing system and water tank cleaner and longer lasting.

We will be reaching to BF and Mike for any future plumbing needs!!

Nick was great!! Although he wasn’t able to fix this issue due to frozen pipe lines outside the home, he was very helpful in letting us know what to do over the next several days.

Accessed frozen pipe problem. Gave advice. Nothing he could do at this time. Was very informative & knowledgeable ! Would definitely call them again.

Mike did a fantastic job. He explained everything that he did when he was replacing some of our plumbing. It was very knowledgeable as well as personable.

Service completed as requested. I had to repaint trim & inside vertical beam due to damage when trim was removed to facilitate tank removal. Also, shower door & floor needed cleaning from line or calcium deposits after tank was drained into shower stall. Several knowledgeable friends have indicated that the cost was much higher than it should have been.

Up front quotes and quality repairs from knowledgeable and kind employees. I live in a very old house with some existing galvanized/cast iron plumbing, and they’ve been able to fix my problem every time. Extra special thanks to my tech Austin Strong for saving the day every time!

Ethan provided great information and helped us decide in a replacement water heater. So happy with the experience and service provided.

Update 3/8/2024: Ethan installed the new heat pump water heater and left the area better than he found it. Was very knowledgeable and professional ready to answer all my questions. The installation looks great and performs great too. Thank you Ethan and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing!

Update 3/28/2025: Mike performed our water heater flush maintenance and inspection. Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He even recommended options for a water softener and whole home shutoff valve we are considering installing.

Seth Overcash came over to give me a quote for some needed repairs. He is very professional, personable, thorough, answered all my questions and he’s a dog lover! Very pleased with the plumbing inspection from Ben Franklin on 1/07/2026. Mike Palmeri is not just a plumber as he says, but a problem solver! We’ve had lots of different opinions on an issue where our toilet freezes, and Mike actually took the time to investigate the source and where in our house the pipe was freezing. He gave us some great tips and advice on how to proceed in fixing the issue going forward. Thanks Mike!

Mike P is great! He came to us today for a drain back up in our basement. He greeted us at the door and headed straight in and got to work. Took his time to make sure he was leaving us with flowing drains and helped to ease tensions, laughing with us along the way. He was quick and efficient, and he also cleaned up after himself before he left. I will always recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to my family and friends! Not only for the fair pricing/warranty options they offer and stand by, but mostly for the kindness, patience and “family vibes” the technicians bring with them into our home. Five stars all around!

Arthur was polite and straight to business, he was also able to retrieve my wife's glasses from inside our toilet after they fell in off a shelf as the toilet was flushing....Nice, knowledgeable guy. Happy customer!
