Ryland. Tyler, and Ted did a great job of installing our replacement central air unit on one of the hottest days this summer. They were professional and knowledgeable, explaining the process and required maintenance, and addressing our questions

Ted was a delight! Had a great experience and the price was hard to beat. We are not handy people, so to give us peace of mind, we signed up for the annual healing and cooling maintenance plan which comes with a lot of benefits including duct cleaning which can be very expensive. So glad we stumbled upon this great company!

Justin was a great technician. Did the job, was straight with me about the price. He had to order a part and return to install a few days later. He only charged me for the initial service fee, showed me the part he was ordering so I could confirm the pricing, and was out here asap to install it after it arrived. Very happy with the service. Less than 100 for service and the only extra I paid was for the part, and I paid at their cost. All of this is true but it is about strange to pre write the entire section before this sentence for me. I did not write it, don’t use AI please, if it was AI. Despite that, they installed a new furnace before the snow storm this weekend and I’m thankful they were able to do it before hand. They took the price of the previously installed part, and previous service charges, off of the final price of my new furnace installation

Rick' Affordable has taken care of our heating/cooling for the last 20 years and there is good reason for that. Recently they replaced our whole unit air and heat and as always prompt and professional. Their techs Tyler and Dylan who are knowledgeable and courtesy, we had questions and they had answers. They came prepared and got the job done in a timely manner. And our new unit great our home is nice comfortable now and we feel safe knowing our unit is on their maintenance plan for yearly checkups and all is good. Highly recommend!!

Justin did a great job, he was very quick to determine the problem with my heater, and got the part right away and fixed it, then installed this super smart thermostat and showed me how to use it very good service!

Rick’s Affordable Heating and Cooling replaced my 34 years old single stage gas furnace. They installed a two stage 80 K btu 96% efficiency furnace. I did my research and their price was the best for comparable units. Nathan and Bryce did a great job. Their work was clean and professional. I highly recommend Rick’s for your heating and cooling projects.

Was having issues with furnace. Rick's Affordable sent out a very professional young man by the name of Ted Cole. Ted was very respectful and very informative on his diagnosis. Overall great experience. Will definitely be my go to company. Heat was working great by the time he left.

I had a problem with my furnace and called Rick’s. They were able to come out that very same day even during such a busy time In the middle of a cold spell. Justin came out and assessed the problem and determined that I needed a new furnace. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Dylan and Christian were able to come out the next day to install my new furnace in just over two hours. They did a great job, they were knowledgeable and helpful, their work was efficient and cleaned up everything afterwards. I highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So far so good! Our furnace broke of course at the very coldest days. Ian from Ricks affordable HVAC came out promptly. Once the news broke that we pretty much needed a new furnace, they had us scheduled the next morning for immediate installation. They arrived on time and had the whole job done and heating in 4 hours after one very cold night. We can’t thank them enough for being quick and affordable. We will use them for our ongoing services. Had Ryland and Christian come out to install a new furnace , they did an amazing job taking care of the old unit and installing the new one! Very professional and helpful! Definitely would recommend!

We lost power on Saturday night and Ian, the service tech was wonderful when he came out. Our installers today, Tyler and Jacob were wonderful too! Clean, polite and informative about their work. I had a wonderful experience with Rick's and would recommend to anyone.

Ted and Bryce were very professional and courteous. Ted all my questions and concerns I had about operating and maintenance of my new Coleman HVAC. It's a clean job and they cleaned up after themselves. The temperature in my place was 89 when these guys came over. It's been running for 20 minutes and my temperature is already dropped down to 85 with no humidity. Thank you Ted and Bryce! 👍👌

My furnace died on Saturday the house was below 0. I gave Rick's a call and the had a tech out in 3 hours. Ted Cole the technician from affordable heating & cooling did a great job replacing my mother board. Heat back on asap. Thank you very much. I appreciate your company. Best HVAC experience I’ve ever had. The company was quick at responding and quick at sending a tech out. I got Ted Cole who is the only tech I would want back. He was very kind, professional, explained things to me helped ensure I don’t have the same problems in the future and honestly went above and beyond what his job description probably is. Pricing was more than competitive. Edit: Crew came back out to install a new furnace for me as more issues arrived after control board was installed. The company treated me very fairly giving me a discount for the control board included a good thermostat and capped my chimney for me.

My techs were Dylan, Ruben, Jacob, and Ryland (I hope I have that right) they were extremely polite professional and clean. They apologized profusely for removing a shelf (had to come down for the work I asked for) left the area cleaner than when they arrived tested the furnace showed me how to use the thermostat and were done in around 3 hours. Again best hvac experience I’ve had this really is the best hvac company in the area. Thank you all so much 🙏

Ted, Tyler, and Jesse did a phenomenal job! Ted diagnosed that our furnace motor was dead and got us scheduled for asap installation of a new furnace. He also checked in the following day making sure we were staying warm enough. Tyler and Jesse promptly showed up on time and got to business. Installation went smooth and professionally. They even cleaned up the floor and surrounding areas after they were finished. Would highly recommend doing business with Rick’s Affordable Heating & Cooling.

Punctual in coming when they said they would, shared good tips on maintenance, was able to get the part needed before coming to the home and promptly replaced it. They are reasonably priced too. 2x 👍🏻👍🏻

On 10/17/2023 I called Honest Abe's to come take a look at my furnace as it was blowing air but not hot air. I was assigned an HVAC technician Tim Woody. Mr Woody was friendly once he greeted me and went to take a look at my furnace. Mr. Woody quickly came to the realization that my furnace and condenser should be replaced because they were 15 years old and just couldn't be fixed. I knew this was a red flag because there was nothing wrong with my condenser. Mr. Woody proceeded to give me 4 different payment options the highest totalling up to $15,877 and the lowest around $12,000. Mr. Woody asked which one I'd like to go with and I told him I'd be getting 2 more bids. His entire demeanor then changed. He used my children against me saying what are you going to do with the cold weather coming and the kids being in the house? He clearly was not happy that I wouldn't agree to an absurd contract right on the spot. Needless to say an hour later I had another HVAC company come and they fixed the issue quickly and for only a $90 service call. Mr Woody is a crook and tried pulling on my strings to sign an atrocious contract to replace something not needing replaced so he could benefit on a bonus in his pocket. HIGHLY AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. They practically scammed me out of a $100 service call and attempted to scam me for over $12,000 at the least!

Honest Abe HVAC Review

My Central Air unit furnace coils kept icing up despite cleaning the furnace, changing the filters, cleaning the condensation drain, and cleaning the outside coils.

I looked online and found that Brian Johns came highly recommended. I called and found that sadly, Mr. Johns has passed. However Abe, has taken on the business and upholds the same high quality standards, and honest and fair pricing.
Abe responded quickly (probably would have been quicker if it wasn’t for my lack of availability).He got right to work, first diagnosing, and then fixing the problem. In my case it was low refrigerant. He instructed me on how to keep my system clean, and provided information on estimated future costs, should my system need further repair.
Overall, Abe was fast, affordable, and extremely professional.
I highly recommend his service if you have HVAC problems.

I can't say enough about the great service I got from Honest Abe's HVAC service.
My blower motor went out on a day it was single digits.
The owner,Mr Oleary was out within 2 hours and had it fixed quickly.
The price was very fair. I'll never call anyone else for HVAC service.

Abe came out about a month ago and brought life and cold air back to our house. Simple diagnosis. One potential issue came up, they came back and resolved it - no charge. Call Abe, you won't be disappointed.
