Abe was absolutely wonderful. He fit me in short notice and was able to diagnose the issue with my a/c unit, unfortunately due the the brand and warranty I'm not able to use Honest Abe's for the actual repair, but he went above and beyond and called a dealer for my unit, gave him all the information he needed to start to get the parts. 10/10 would recommend and honestly, I'll only use Honest Abe's in the future for HVAC needs.

Contacted Honest Abe's for what I thought was a leak in my A.C unit. Abe came out himself and diagnosed the issue. Instead of throwing out instant "could be problems" like most contractors I run into, he went straight to the unit and tested all the pressure levels and came back in with his diagnoses. Turns out, I just have an older a.c unit. He reassured me if there were any more problems or questions to give him a call, or send a video of the issue.
I'm impressed with the ability to contact him directly, as well as how prompt he was able to come by and check out the issue.
GIVE this company a call for any hvac issues, I believe you will be as impressed as I am. This is not just a handyman LLC. It's a legit company.

We had Honest Abe's install a new AC unit in our home and the experience could not have been better. They were on time and called before arrival. Very professional and courteous. They made sure they didn't leave any mess behind, while also getting everything done in one day.

They were honest and clear with all the pricing and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. Previous HVAC companies said we needed new furnace at the same time as AC which was not true.

On top of all that, we got a few different quotes and Honest Abe's was by far the lowest priced.

I highly, highly, highly recommend Honest Abe's. Both Abe and Jermaine have been to my house to service my furnace. They are, not ironically, honest and fair. I truly felt like I was being treated by a friend of the family. They took the time to explain things, and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. They communicate clearly and quickly. Both times I called, they were at my house in less than 24 hours, even though neither case was urgent. They are genuine human beings who are engaged in solid business practices. Abe and his crew are the best in town. I received a number of quotes from various different heating and air specialists and Abe was by far the most transparent and reasonably priced. His team was able to install a brand new A/C unit in my 100+ year old home and provided me with advice on how to maintain my unit. Great company! I would definitely recommend.

I called Honest Abe about an issue that I was having with my air conditioning unit. I got the receptionist and she took my information down and Abe called me within 15 minutes. I explained to him the issue I was having, which was an easy repair. He walked me through a few steps on how to repair the issue without him coming out. I was able to fix it myself and Abe did not charge me anything for his time. He was friendly, professional, and really stands true to the name Honest Abe! Wow, this company has it together and Jeremy one of their top technicians was super nice, very professional, no complaining (it is very hot outside right now), very quick quality work he does. I'm a technical person and DIY'er but when it comes to HVAC I struggle a little, plus I don't have the proper tools. Very up front with me from the beginning of his troubleshooting. I never felt uncomfortable as the first 2 companies I called, were telling me I had to replace the entire Central Air Condition for $$$thousands. Honest Abes is the only company I will work with for any HVAC service. My review is long overdue , however Abe and his crew had been out to my house a couple years ago, to fix my old leaking central air unit. Long story short , kept leaking and I ended up replacing the entire thing. Money I paid for the coolant, went toward my new unit! Fast forward to today, I received a call from my Dad and his furnace went out yesterday when it is single digits outside. I gave him Abes personal number in hopes that he could come out and fix it. He gave them a call back, was out within 2 hours, and fixed it at a great price. I appreciate the honesty of this company and will continue spreading the word! Thank you for helping my parents so quickly!

Our furnace quit running. I tried trouble shooting a few things that had worked in the past with no luck. I called after hours and was not able to get an appointment for a few days, but Abe personally called me back and walked me through a few simple steps to get my furnace running again. Unfortunately the furnace needed a lot of work and he was very clear with his recommendation and the benefits of repairing versus replacing. Our furnace was 24 years old so we opted to replace and they were able to complete the job immediately. We were in the market for a new Furnace and AC unit. After getting quotes with all of the top companies around Toledo we found Honest Abe to be highly rated and the best value and cost for what we needed. Not only did Abe personally come out for our quote and talk us through what we needed and didn’t, he also came out to tighten down a few loose parts that needed to be adjusted post install. His staff Jake and others were all extremely nice and helpful with completion times and any questions we had. I can’t recommend Honest Abe’s enough if you are in the market for Heating or AC give them a call.

I was very pleased with the friendly customer service, prompt ability to fit me in to their schedule, the price, and the reassurance that someone was going to be coming on the day set with a phone call the day of. They were even able to squeeze me in a little earlier on the day of! The tech was also very nice, knowledgeable, and worked quickly! I called Honest Abe's company because my furnace was not working! Great guy, great employees, great prices, great work, fast service, and honest! I would definitely recommend his company! Even on his quote he was cheaper than the other company. Very mild kind and calm person. It didn't take long for his guy to fix the motor, and he was also very pleasant! Wow! Honest Abe's is #1 in our book, best service ever. He returned my call promptly during an ice storm in Toledo and called me back soon after to let me know he had a truck in the area, the tech was there in 20 minutes and fixed it right away at a very good price. So happy to have picked them from 600 miles away! The house now has heat and they have a forever customer.
