My furnace had gone out twice in 2023. And both times were a temporary fix. One guy from a different company that was doing remodeling work in my house had fixed my old furnace with a new part. And of course, it worked short-term. After that, I reached out to Glass City HVAC and Mr. G. Keel looked at my furnace and did a little of this ... a little of that and it was working in less than 7 minutes. He shared with me that my old furnace could hold up for a week, six months, or 2 years … and that I should consider getting a new one. And [he] was right; it lasted for 23 months. In 2025 I was in an emergency situation due to my furnace going out in the middle of winter. So, it was time to call Glass City HVAC. They came to my home ready to provide good service. Glass City gave me two options upon assessing my situation, and they did a truthful recommendation per option 1: To find the needed part for a 32-year-old furnace, which turned out to be a challenge to find. And option 2 was get a new furnace with zero percent financing for 60 months! Within the comfort level that they displayed upon me; I had chosen a new furnace with my honored $100.00 off coupon. They were professional from start to finish, starting with the office staff and then by the installment crew. Job well done!!

I had the pleasure of working with Glass City Heating and A/C for small repair. Ultimately, the repair only lasted a short time and then had to replace the unit. However, I do not have enough good things to say about this company. They promptly responded to my immediate need, but when it was time to erplace my A/C unit, they were so helpful. The provided great estimates and explained the differences between units so I could make a good choice. Also, the technicians were so knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend their services. I wish they serviced the new area I live in because I would absolutely use their services again!

The entire staff is friendly and professional. All questions were answered and concerns addressed by the phone receptionist, Perry who came out to do the estimate, and the installers. Very happy with the quick responses and fast installation.

We’re returning customers. They installed a furnace about 2 years ago. At the time my brother, who owns the house, couldn’t afford a furnace. I’m his sister, so I wanted to help and make sure he didn’t try to go through winter without a furnace. I called Glass City HVAC. The woman who answered the phone was so understanding. She explained what my options were. She spent so much time with me and yet she didn’t seem rushed. And that’s what the whole company is like. They really care.
So this year with the very hot summer, I felt it was time for central air. Again the whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. I wouldn’t think to go anywhere else.

These guys are the pros! Honestly!! I had a 80s Sears furnace and a 90s AC unit. The AC went out so it was time to upgrade both. These guys did great replacing the old units and were quick and made it simple! During the inspection, Perry noticed a transformer that blew and was making noise, and that my water tank was marked as a hazard for missing a valve (which was stupid on the gas company part). His team fixed both issues no charge, and without hesitation. If you want the job done right, these are the pros!

Glass City helped me quickly and when i needed them most. When I called for a new furnace they came out to give me an estimate the next day. The price was perfect for my budget so I asked them to install and they came in the next day and knocked the job out in 3 and a half hours.

Glass City HVAC has been a good company our family has had the pleasure of dealing with since becoming homeowners. In the 3 years we've used them we've found them to be polite and trustworthy.

One of the things they do very well is keep a running history of your furnace. They keep notes, share their notes with you, write notes on the furnace itself. Everyone involved is in the know on how the furnace is doing. This might not seem like a big deal but our previous HVAC company didn't do this so we have no history of carbon monoxide readings from before three years ago on that particular furnace. (I believe we had the other company for 3 or 4 years before we first had Glass City come by.)

Recently we got our furnace checked up for the fall and the CO reading was too high. Because of the detailed history Glass City HVAC kept along with other fixes we knew a new furnace was coming in the near future. We could see the trend as the CO got a little higher each fall. I didn't feel like I had to just take them at their word because the technician would show me on their handheld detector the actual CO reading each time we had it checked up. Scheduling, installing and payment for the new furnace was pretty seamless and was done just a few days later.

They are on time or early for the most part. I believe only once they were late because they were finishing up with another job beforehand. Overall, we would recommend them if you are looking for a trustworthy HVAC company.
