I cannot express how disappointed I am with this company. As a homeowner, I have frequently had to deal with companies being dishonest and presenting false information. Recently I requested a service appointment through America Home Shield. On 17 Nov 20, they sent out a plumber from a company called Plumb Genius. The technician's name was Jareed. Upon arriving, the technician assessed and informed us that the leaks were missing parts, and it would be a $165 additional charge, and he was prepared to accept that payment over the phone. I asked what the exact amount was for and he informed me it was to rebuild the plumbing and replace missing parts and labor. I requested a statement work of work and a detailed invoice to ensure I could not be overcharged and support his quote. Jareed informed me that his company charges a flat fee and would not provide a statement of work nor a detailed invoice. Also, he went on tell me that AHS only pays for the diagnosis. I immediately told him to cease any work, and that I would contact my home warranty provider to express my concerns. When we called Jareed, he informed us that he spoke with the home warranty company and resolved it. Shortly after, we received notice from AHS that the plumber filed a claim, and we would still have to come out of pocket $165.

We informed the home warranty company. They were no missing part, and no rebuild was done, and in fact, the plumber merely replaced some washers. Even the home warranty company was unable to tell us what added up the $165. So apparently, Jareed filed false information in the claim to American Home Shield. Sadly, we cannot have an honest contractor doing honest work. I can tell you to avoid those five ratings on the Plumb Genius google reviews. This company is dishonest and only looking to cheat their customers.

The technician was very professional and courteousness, answered all my question. They arrived timely, cleaned up after they unclogged the drain behind the washer and dryer and moved them back in their spot. I am very please with Plum Genius I will continue to use them.

Josh and Mike did an absolutely stellar job!!! They were on-time, professional,courteous, and explained every part of the service they were doing for me!!! They went above and beyond by looking for other agents to fix my washer back-up , and even saved me money..... I would recommend their services to anyone who needs a professional plumber, and they feel as though they are in a whole they can't get out of!!!

Warranty company sent Plumb Genius out to fix my broken hot water heater. Jerred T. replaced the faulty part and was done in about 30 minutes. Good experience. Professional and courteous.

Do not use. If I could give less than one star, I would. Incompetent office staff. Margey hung up in my face repeatedly and accused me of not scheduling properly, among other insults. Told me I needed to schedule a procedure I do not need immediately, BEFORE they will come back out and fix a problem they created when investigating the main issue. Will never use again, solely based on her attitude and negativity. Plumbers are incompetent and uncommunicative. Canceled a job without letting me know, after I waited from 8 am to 4 pm for him to arrive. Horrendous experience, horrible company! Do not use, you have been warned.

Ezra and his teammate came out to do repairs on my shower, trap, and to run a new line. He was able to give me options within my price range (what would be better long term vs. aesthetic look). He arrived on time (the office communicated over text). They cleaned the work space, took of their shoes/wore plastic baggies to not track in ice and and dirt. Cheapest rate compared to other plumbers in Tulsa. Highly recommend.

The men who came out were great, but the office personnel canceled my elderly parent's order because they would not buy the $1300 upgrade kit. The home owners insurance agreed to pay them over $7000 for the services, but because my 70+ year old parents wouldn't dig an extra $1300 out of their retirement to purchase an upgrade, they canceled working on their plumbing. Now my elderly parents don't have working water to the house and are looking for new plumbers. Avoid this place as best you can.

Plumb Genius came out to our house through my home warranty. They were on time, fast, and efficient! We had to get a new disposal, and they took no time at all to install it. Highly recommend!

After discovering a leak coming from my water heater I contacted my home warranty they set me up with Plumb Genius. Jerred came out, was on time, and had me fixed in less than 30 min.

The pilot on my water heater went out a few days ago. I attempted to restart the pilot but it did not work, so I called my home warranty (AHS) who works with Plumb Genius who got me on their schedule. On that day I was thrilled to see Jerred Tipton who has done work for us before. Within 5mins he was able to determine the root cause. He was professional, friendly, arrived early and solved the problem. My wife and I appreciate Jerred and Plumb Genius for taking care of us. I would recommend them to anybody!

Mike Bowling was out today to replace my kitchen faucet. He was extremely professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He pointed out a potential pending problem with my old copper supply lines, and he helped me prevent a future headache by replacing them with an up-to-date product. Highly recommended!

Outstanding and quick service! Called today at 3:45 and they dispatched Calvin immediately. He was here by 4:15 and took care of our problem by 5:00. Extremely impressed and thankful. Plumb Genius is the first place we’ll call for any future plumbing issues.

I have had them out several times four different issues around my new home. Jared and Joe are so professional and very knowledgeable about their work. they went above and beyond to not only fix the problem I was having but also issues that may cause future problems within that same work order. They were sent out by my home warranty.

This company is a joke. My home warranty company sent them out 3 times for 3 separate issues. Two of the repairs they completed only lasted a few months and I had to make the repairs again myself. The third issue was a leak that they weren't able to locate. I later found it on my own and made the repair myself. I had to pay $75 for each visit, and they basically did nothing. The repairs I completed myself have lasted and I'm not a plumber. They claim to be plumbers, but obviously they're not skilled. Hopefully they go out of business soon. Absolutely terrible work! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Plumb genius was sent to our home to replace a water heater through our home warranty American Home Shield. I would recommend anyone who has this warranty to cancel and get out of your worthless contract now. These companies are absolutely working together to take advantage of people who can’t use other vendors. American Home Shield gets a substantial discount for the work they will pay for and then because Plumb Genius knows you have no other options they make sure and pass the money they want to recoup onto the customer by doing things they know the warranty won’t cover. When we questioned the things they were charging us for out of pocket we were told that we have to do them or they won’t do the work. This is while they were standing in my garage when it was -10 degrees outside and said “listen we can do the job this way or we can leave”. Both of these companies are taking advantage of consumers and using each other to do it.

Every year since we had our water line repaired by this company.... it freezes up. Paid to have a leak repaired that was under our slab. The workers dug up a tile and a half... said they couldn't find the leak and the did the repair through our attic rather than under the slab. Still charged me as if it was repaired under the slab. Now, everytime we get freezing weather... the water to our bathroom freezes. Do yourself a favor and find a different company to do your repairs.

Justin displayed stellar customer service. It was evident he is a skilled lord plumber. He explained everything he did and why he did it. He was so thorough, I had zero questions when he left. I will highly recommend this company to friends and family.

I had a water leak issue through our home warranty American Home Shield. I will also cut to the chase. I would recommend taking the reimbursement from AHS and finding a local plumber to get the job done. Save your time, worries and headache. Plumber Genius is not there to help. Reasons: It toke them 4 business days to get a tech out to evaluate the issue. Then toke another 5 business days for them to have another tech come out and detect where the slab leak was. This was actually 6 business days as an “emergency situation” occurred and they had to push my appointment out. Then another 5 bus days for them to schedule the job to the done. On the day of the job to be done, they did not show up or call for an update. I had to call and check. Again another “emergency situation” happened. Schedule was pushed back another 5 business days. I called the ladies at Plumb Genius the day before scheduled appointment this time before to ensure everything was set and ready. Got the usual you will get a call when they are on the way. No show and no call from Plumb Genius. This is already 4 weeks in of unresolved and sleepless nights and no hot water. Look at the other reviews and call around. You’ll save a bunch load of money and time. Don’t get used or abused. This is not a company you want to bother with. Best of luck

I have an older home and have had to use several different plumbing services and Plumb Genius is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. They scheduled a full day starting at 8am to replace my sewer line and showed up 2 hours late then rushed the job and destroyed my property with absolutely no regard. They split the concrete pad in my yard in half even though it was not in the way of the job and just gave me a simple "sorry". They are very vague on communicating pricing and just try to get you to swipe your credit card prior to the job then have zero regard for how they finish it. I have seen many messy sewer line repairs but the guys were in a hurry to go home after showing up 2 hours late so they didnt even refill the trench they dug, they just pushed all the dirt up next to it. I would advise to steer clear of this plumbing service. I had a terrible experience.

Thought it would of been a good experience from the first time meeting the tech he was very nice. Then after he left, I will say the customer service and follow up is an absolute joke. I have called multiple times to get an update on my work order and it has now been over a week that I have been out of hot water. The first time was a miss diagnosis. Now they have sent video off to Navien to further diagnosis the issue. Call today to ask about an update and she basically stated that she will have the tech call to see. Then told me I was more than welcome to call another company for a second opinion because I stated that I needed this addressed immediately . I shouldn't have to call multiple times to follow up with a service that I am paying for. Now reading the reviews, It looks like I should of done my research.

I had issues with my main line backing up a couple of times a year for several years. Warranty company agreed to have it cameras. The warranty company sent them out to hydro jet the line. After canceling twice, they show up. Than they don’t have all the tools they need; which leads to a two hour wait. After finishing the job; they say the line is cracked and broken and needs to be replaced.
After getting approval and setting an appointment, they canceled. I had the warranty company send another plumber out and start the process over again. They ran the camera and said the line was fine; the riser at the end of the line was needing replaced.
Plumb Genius said the line was made of orangburg; my plumber said it was cast iron .

Bottom line: they canceled on me multiple times. They lied to me and the warranty company. I would not recommend!
