We had a very disappointing experience with this company.

Our neighbor hired them to replace a sewer line that runs under an easement in our yard. Their crew used a backhoe and caused significant damage to our lawn — well beyond the easement area. The machine was also left parked in our yard for over a week with no work being done, which needlessly destroyed even more grass.

As a result, large areas of our yard are now bare and compacted clay, and we will need to bring in topsoil and sod to restore it properly. The company initially said they would “fix it,” but then it got too cold for sod and suggested coming back in the spring — roughly three months later.

I asked for this commitment in writing so we had clarity on timing and responsibility. That request, along with two follow-up phone calls, went unanswered. At this point, we have no written assurance, no timeline, and no response.

This situation has left us with property damage and out-of-pocket costs we should not have to absorb. The professional and reasonable solution would be to compensate us so we can hire a qualified lawn service to restore our yard properly and on our schedule.

The lack of follow-through and communication is unacceptable. I hope the company chooses to make this right, but based on our experience so far, I cannot recommend them.

Update: no one ever called. This is the level of service you can expect if you run into any snags with this company.

Final Update: Submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau finally spurred action. My yard is now fixed.

Jerred & Luke were very professional and thorough with their explanation & were very courteous. They are very knowledgeable and presented me with several options; as well as answered my questions.. Jerred & Luke worked well as a team & diagnosed our washing machine drain blockage problem. They provided estimates for the 3 different options.. I rate Jerred & Luke as a Five Star Service Men. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I am a retired journeyman electrician, and I can spot a highly qualified Skilled Tradesmen. 👍🏽👍🏽

Gage and Josh were wonderful with our home not having a working toilet. They were very knowledgeable, talk to me as human, very polite and all around genuine. Would highly recommend having him and Josh to come out to your home!

Unbelievable. Hi-Tech Plumbing and Leak Detect provide the most honest, fair, reasonable, and FAST service I have ever been associated. My only regret is using another plumbing company last year that completely overcharged me without really get the job satisfactorily completed. They guys are amazing, over the phone they totally understood my situation with a questionable number my city utilities gave me, and were very informative. When the techs got there. They were straight honest and very thorough with the emergency inspection. Professional from start to finish. Really appreciate these guys.

Danny was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and checked my exterior faucet and water pressure. It was determined that I didn’t have a problem like i thought and they didn’t even charge me for the service call. I couldn’t have asked for a better company.

Kaden, our service guy was excellent! We highly recommend him. Kaden took his time to answer all questions that we had and explained everything well. Very knowledgeable.

Had their plumber, Gavin Lilley, come by to replace an main water shut-off valve inside our closet and also replace the small water valve under our kitchen sink. Did both projects super quick, was very informative over what needed to be done and I learned more over our hard water at the house.

Gary Boren did an excellent job addressing and fixing our plumbing issues. He was timely, worked quickly, and was extremely knowledgeable. His explanations of work were thorough and he was extremely patient with my questions. I would highly recommend asking for Gary for all your plumbing needs.

Just spent $17770 to have my whole house re plumbed by this outfit. Within a week I have a leak in one of the new lines they installed, Of course it happens after hours but their website says open 24 hours---that's an out right lie. You call with an emergency and you get a very clever automated bot . You think your talking to a human but you are not. Left multiple messages on this "recorded call" but so far no human has contacted us. Guess if you are under warranty you aren't a priority. If you have any other options use another company

He took the time to answer all my questions, providing detailed explanations to help me make an informed decision. Importantly, he did not attempt to upsell any additional products or services, focusing solely on the replacement of the hot water tank. Once I made my decision, he proceeded with the replacement efficiently and professionally. Throughout the process, he maintained a high level of customer service, ensuring that I was comfortable and satisfied with the work being done. In the end, I was pleased with the outcome, as the new hot water tank was installed the same day.

Seth arrived with Dalton, and Dalton gave us a quote for a plumbing project. I thought the price was terribly high. Only one option was offered, so it would have been nice to have a couple of different options or approaches with different quotes.

When he told me the quote of Nineteen five, I thought he meant $1,900. He was out in his truck securing financing for me when we realized he meant $19,500. Wow. I moved quickly to stop the financing!

Amanda was amazing. We had a hot water leak and our inside vents were almost full. Water was leaking into our yard, across our neighnor’s driveway and was pooling on their front lawn. Our hot water heater was having problems even keeping the water lukewarm. The vents were so full of water air couldn’t get through the vents to warm the house.
Amanda walked into the house and immediately knew what the probkem was. Within minutes
we were discussing the problem and the solution.
She said we first needed to get the water out of the vents and recommended RestoPros in OKC. She called them herself, explained the situation, gave them my info and asked them to call me. They called immediately and were here within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that she did this for me.
Amanda gave me several options and answered all my questions She told me there was a 10 year guarantee , told me what they would have to do, gave me costs and said they could start work as soon as I wanted. She went back into the kitchen and turned off the gas to the water heater for safety reasons. She said that would stop the water leakage and while I wouldn’t have hot water I would still have cold water to use for every day usage, toilet flushing, hand washing, etc. She turned off the heater because heat couldn’t get through the vents anyway. I could turn the heat back on after the water was removed. She gave me her business card and told me to call anytime.
She even told me that if I needed hot water at any time to call her and she’d come over to turn the hot water tank back on.
I talked to her today. I told her I wanted her to do the work. She said she could be here this afternoon. I said tomorrow morning would be fine.

This review is about Amanda Sheppard, a Journeyman plumber who hasn’t even started to fix the problem. She starts tomorrow. I was very impressed with her. She was friendly, intelligent, easy to talk to, knowledgable, very patient and took her time explaining things to me.
She completely understood my hesitation about finances and did not pressure me in any way. I felt completely comfortable with her. I will definitely write another review after the work is completed.

Josh did an amazing job locating and repairing a leaking pipe in the garage ceiling. Responded to our late evening service request very quickly. He is extremely knowledgeable and a superb technician. I feel like he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and better prepared to prevent future problems in our newly purchased home.

Seth did an absolutely fantastic job with the plumbing work at my place. He showed up on time, was friendly and professional, and got straight to it. You can tell right away he knows what he’s doing — everything was done efficiently and to a high standard.

He explained things clearly without overcomplicating anything and made sure I was comfortable with what was being done. The work was neat, tidy, and completed faster than I expected. He even cleaned up the area afterward, which I really appreciated.

It’s great to have someone you can trust to do the job right. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Seth again or recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable plumber!

Jerred and Luke were extremely friendly and professional. They walked me through the whole process and answered all the questions I had. Very thankful I found this company! They provided me with reasonable solutions and financing options. They even helped to get a flood restoration company out to my house the very same day. Very impressed.

Amanda did an amazing job. She had great communication on when she would arrive and was in contact even though it was bad weather. She explained all the steps that were necessary to complete the job. Amazing Service. These gentlemen worked their tails off at our house and never once complained. They were very professional and personable and answered any questions that I had. I highly recommend!

The technician was very knowledgeable and informative. He listened to my concerns and explained the different products available. Before leaving, he scheduled electrician to to connect the plugs to work with the plumbing, provided a quote and an estimate on how long the job would take. I will use Hi-Tech/ACS again.
