It would be difficult to convey just how happy we are that we ran across Interstate Heating & Air Conditioning, because all the usual positive adjectives you read in reviews just don't quite measure up!

Jake was amazingly patient with me/us and answered our most important questions, which were the ones we didn't know we had. Then, once hired and all the parts were available, our installers were quick, efficient, neat, and courteous. We are seniors and don't process information quickly, but they were so patient and kind with us (Jeremy and Jerimiah!).

THREE different companies had come out to diagnose and bid on getting our HVAC problems diagnosed and brought up to snuff. We had been cooking all summer and freezing all winter, and all 3 of those companies wanted to simply replace our entire system to "solve all our problems." Our current "system" was installed by the home-flipper who used cheap, and sometimes previously used materials that didn't even have the right size fittings (like, 6" plenums to 4" plastic ducting AND only one 12" X 24" air intake for a 1500 Sf home!). Jake was also the ONLY one who actually crawled under the house to diagnose our problems. The others just pointed their flashlights into the crawl space and gave us "the bad news." Jake also explained that there may be a long delay in obtaining ducting due to supply chain issues, but we were willing to wait since he was the ONLY one who felt our current system was not only fixable, but that it would be more than adequate for many years to come with the right parts, an additional intake, and with regular maintenance. THEN, since he had been SUPER careful not to underbid his estimate, the final tally was actually over $3K LESS than itemized! IOW, they didn't add or replace anything that didn't need fixing or replacing or hadn't been talked about. Now we are FINALLY WARM all over the house for the first time in 3 years!
A BIG THANK YOU to EVERYONE at Interstate! More good news for us is that we purchased their maintenance plan, so we will see them twice a year.

EDIT 10/25/2023: Just had our autumn heating checkup per oir Interstatemaintenance policy, and after Kianoosh discovered the condition that our sellers had left our HVAC unit in, we knew why our energy coats have not decreased as much as we had expected over the past year after replacing all our windows. What a mess!! Kianoosh discovered construction debris in our unit...and when he left 4 hours later (he never stopped working other than the time it took to explain things to us...even working outside like it wasnt raining) it was like new and now when it's running it is nearly silent!
This company has an amazing work ethic, and we are STILL highly recommend them. Thanks Kianoosh + Interstate!

My thermostat was just a dark blank, not working. Grey the technician arrived early and began the diagnostics for my AC unit. He found two items that failed: A fuse and the ozone free light was burnt out. He replaced the fuse and I had an extra light bulb. I found Grey to be very friendly and extremely professional young man… I would give him a 👍 and my personal thank you for a job very well done

Our technician was great. He was on time. Very professional. But also very friendly and informative. We liked him so much, we are setting an appointment in May to have a new system done. At least to get an estimate. Thank you for doing such a great job.

Isaac was thorough with the work while explaining everything to me. He was polite, listened to my concerns and offered solutions. Isaac discussed The Shield and how it could help me. I appreciate Isaac's work ethics and integrity. This is my second time using Interstate and I recommend this company.

JC was really nice. He came and explained what he will be doing then I didn’t see him he was completely done. He told me everything he did and even showed pictures of my air duct. Making the appointment was so easy. Amber was very helpful. They even let me know that they could come earlier. That was awesome. I now have an AC place to call on. Name and number saved.

They did a great job from beginning to end. They got us up and running before summer which is VERY appreciated. 😉 Between Interstate and Thunder Ducts they both worked together to get us fixed up and we are actually very comfy upstairs now. It used to be an immediate change in temperature halfway up the stairs, up but not anymore. We are so grateful to feel cool up here. We’ve had to cover up a few vents downstairs because we were freezing and it’s pushing that air up and with our fans it’s helping circulate it well. Like I said we are VERY PLEASED with Interstate Heating &Air Conditioning and would recommend them to anyone needing work!! Thanks Interstate!

Excellent service. His job performance is what I have come to expect from Interstate Heat and Air. Interstate Heat and Air understands the importance of customer care and takes it to the next level.
He took his time inspecting and checking the system to determine if their were any problems.
I have been an Interstate Heating and Air Conditioning customer for a number of years and would highly recommend them. Interstate Heat and Air is simply the best and worth every penny. I would recommend them and their technicians 100%.

I initially scheduled a Tune-Up service for $99. When the first technician arrived, he informed us that the A coil was frozen and said he’d need to return later that afternoon to proceed. However, a different technician showed up later that day and told my husband that a leak test would be required at a minimum cost of $225. He also mentioned that he expected to be able to complete the repair that same day.

While I was working, he communicated everything to my husband. When I stepped out to check on the progress, I was told the total repair would cost $1,400—including $189 per gallon of Freon.

In the end, we were left with a broken AC unit that had to be turned off, and we had already spent $325 with no resolution. We’ve since hired a different company that is charging a fraction of the cost and has been much more transparent throughout the repair process.

The technicians are always professional and knowledgable. I have had only good experiences with Interstate. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a repair or tune up!

This was a maintenance service. Buying the maintenance plan has saved me much money in the long run. Well worth the cost. And the people performing the services are always very cheerful and helpful, ending in success every time. I couldn’t be happier.

My old unit was 27 years old. Jake came out and took a look at my house and made some recommendations on intake system.Interstate installed a new Carrier system with heat pump. Great techs that worked all day in the heat to get our system cooling same day. Thanks Easton and Brent. We appreciate it. Great job and good value!

When we recently needed to replace our old unit, we got 3 estimates for a new heat and air unit. Interstate was not only the lowest, but also the fastest at getting booked for installation. Kenosie (he walked through for the estimate) determined we needed another return vent for more optimal air flow, since the primary bedroom always runs hotter in the summer.
Every employee was very conscientious, friendly and professional, even despite Mario and Jeremiah having to install the indoor portion in our attic on a 90+ degree day. Our house feels so much better. We will be definitely using Interstate for all following tuneups!

Isaac arrived timely for my appointment today (2/5/2026). He was friendly, polite, respectful and pleasant to speak with. Today's appointment was my winter unit's tune-up, and my unit checked out with no issues. My central heat system is only 1 year old and was installed last January 2025 by this company. This new system works very well and is quieter than my former unit. God bless everyone at Interstate. Your company employs such caring young men and women. Thank you so much!!!

The entire process was good. Jason gave me a detailed quote and graciously answered my questions each time I called. The insulation team was very pleasant, answering all of my questions.

From Dec 2024: Joe Richtal completed my winter maintenance check of my system. Replaced all the filters. He did a great job and ensured the heating system was working well. Took the trash left in the attic by the installers they left.

From June 2024: I sat down with Jake to get an estimate a complete HVAC system replacement. He presented multiple estimates from basic to high. He showed me that the old return and supply arrangement was wrong for my house, which explained the problems I had with the original system over 19 years. I selected a 2-stage energy-efficient system which was an upgrade. Price was very good beating the other 4 estimates I had in hand for more inferior systems. They removed the old system and installed the new system in one day. A second day was used to expand supply and return ducts. Mario and Jeremiah were my installers and they were very professional and hard working. I was very impressed by their work ethic. I can't forget Megan in the office who worked diligently to keep me informed of scheduled work and solving any questions I had. Over all they made the entirely pleasant and with zero stress. They were patient with my many questions and always gave timely answers. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to all my contacts and friends. Thank you Jake, Megan, Mario, Jeremiah, and Interstate Heating & AC!!!!
