We were assigned this company through our home warranty company. The technician was on time, immediately found the reason our unit wasn't working (blown fuse), and replaced it. Quick, professional service!

Most unethical, and lying company I have ever felt with in my life!! Do yourself a favor and go else where!!! Especially if you have a home warranty, they will just try to up sell you on your system and lie about what is really wrong with yours. Most horrible experience we have ever had with any company!!

I called this company to report one of their trucks which was speeding through a school zone. The guy was hitting at least 35 MPH and whipped around me when I was letting my six year old grandson off to go inside building.

The woman who answered the phone was rude, uncaring and totally oblivious to why I might be upset. I asked to speak to Supervisor. She claimed she was 'Office Manager' and said she would 'handle the problem.'

I asked in what manner exactly she would 'handle' the matter. At which point she became even more rude and obnoxious. I asked for her name which she steadfastly refused to give.

Her attitude told me exactly how this company views it's customers. This person had no interest in anything outside her own little world. I was clearly wasting her time.

If this company allows such people to answer their phones, I can only imagine how their 'Service' representatives might react if indeed, a problem arose.

It would certainly makes me question their work ethic all around...wouldn't you? If you can't trust the front office can you trust their workmen either?

Don't use them the are/were First Time plumbing Heat and Air. They have terrible customer service. Our brand new AC unit they installed 2 yrs ago the compressor has already gone out. When they were First Time. The name First Time is still on their building and their trucks.

I've had great experiences with this company when they came out. The lady's in the office are always friendly, the techs seem very knowledgeable and the installers were friendly and got us up and cooling again very fast. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

Came to my home to repair a simple problem with my A/C system. Wanted to charge me $500 to fix a $10 switch that I discovered on my own was bad. Technician appeared to be on drugs and his partner was definitely on drugs. Stay away!

They came out the same day, quickly identified the issue and promptly fixed it. Very professional and nice people. We have had bad experiences with other companies and happy to be able to call on them again for any future needs. They also have a
$25 off service charge coupon on the website you can print off!

I had an emergency this morning where water was pouring in my kitchen from the ceiling. After getting it turned off I contacted Rochelle at Second Opinion Plumbing. Within the hour Johnny was at my house and promptly replaced a busted connector and got me up and running. Could not have asked for more timely and quality service!!

Like others have said, we were referred through our home warranty AHS. They would not set an appt without receiving a service request and said they would contact us. We confirmed that they received it, called back and they told us they have 24 hours to process it. Are you serious?? It's 100 degrees outside. They did not call us after 24 hours like they suggested they would do and by that time they did not have anyone to come out for FOUR DAYS. Unacceptable. We called AHS who reassigned another contractor who came out within 30 minutes. Also, the lady answering the phone was very rude to my husband just like other reviewers stated. Clearly a poorly run business.

This co. came to my home & the first thing before looking at my heat pump they tell me it was going to have to be charged and their rate was $95 per pd; other companies in the area only charge $55 Once they took a look at the system the said the coil was going to have to be replaced butwere not able to replace just the coil on a system less than 8 yrs. old we need to replace the entire air handler at a cost of $1200 now we are at $2100 our cost after our home warr. pays then we would be advised to upgrade our 31/2 ton for 1900 sqft home to a 4 ton cost $7200 when all that is wrong was a switch.

This company was sent to my residence on an AC service call from American Home Shield. The initial visit I was told I needed a new coil, a new drip pan, and that my outside unit was old, not functioning correctly and was in need of several pounds of freon. Then they turned around and told AHS that every problem I had was caused by a supposed low capacity system which would not be covered by my warranty and that if I wanted them to do the repairs I would have to pay out of pocket for all of this. A separate company unaffiliated with AHS just left my house with a fully functioning system. They needed to replace NOTHING. The coil was dirty. That was literally the only thing wrong with my system. My honest opinion is either your technician is completely incompetent or you are participating in the scheme AHS has going on.

Very courteous and helpful. When I called the nice lady told me when they would be available. The repairman, Tim V, was very professional in dress and in working. He had everything he needed in his truck even for an old system. It was a very HOT day to have to be outside working in the heat. He was very courteous and told me what I needed to know. I hope I don't have to call again but if I do it will be this company. I highly recommend using their service. Thank you Second Opinion! :-).

I would never use or recommend this company to anyone but my worst enemy. We had to use them through our home warranty company. The guy who came out explained away our issue with our ac unit in a way that made me very suspucious if his intentions (i.e. to make sure the warranty co. wouldn't have to pay us so he could stay on their call list and not piss them off). So, we had 2 other techs from 2 different company's come out to give us their opinion. Sure enough! They both contradicted what he said...even to the point of telling us that what he said had happened was completely IMPOSSIBLE. Asked another licenced tech if he had ever heard of what the 1st guy said happening, and boom! Now I have 3 professionals telling me that it is impossible! Well, too little too late. Our warranty company denied our claim based on this incompetent fool's write up. Add insult to injury, the woman who answers the phone was completely rude to my husband when he called to ask when they were going to be here...2 full hours after the window they gave us had expired. I can't believe that this company is still in business! Please rethink your decision to use them!!!

My mother in law had these "professionals" out to look at her new heating unit. I'm careful with her so I made sure my wife (her daughter) was there so it wasn't too scary for her. First the technician came out and spent 2 hours, most of it in his van. He informed her that she needs a brand new heater. She refused and asked him how he knew that. After speaking with the technician on the phone, which was mostly him rambling on incoherently and not knowing what he was talking about, I told him to have his boss call me. 3 weeks later the "owner" called me and told me that I owed him $300 BC his 2/3rds of a retard tech sat his fatass in his van for 2 hours. This "owner" then called my mother in law and told her it was $400 and that he would be there to collect soon. He decided to come 2 days later and was extremely rude to my wife when she refused to give him the money. We have camera on the house and are considering legal action. Don't use these jokes. After an actual second opinion the problem was fixed for $64 in 20 minutes.

I'm not happy with them at all. They were assigned to us through American Home Shield. The tech that came out to our house told us that we had to replace the entire unit because of a bad compressor. He was either grossly inept or devious. He even tried to prove to me that it wasn't the capacitor by puling one from his truck and showing me the swap. Well the next tech we had out (we got a second opinion on "Second Opinion heat and air") was able to fix it with a new capacitor in under 15 minutes. Which means that the tech from this company used a bad one, or didn't know how to hook it up when he showed me that the capacitor in my unit was fine. I feel as though I had a very dishonest experience with this company, and i'm glad that I got a second opinion on their work.

Just wanted everyone to know that this company has extremely shady business practices! WARNING - find someone else to do your HVAC work!!!

Called Second Opinion out to fix a broken AC late this summer. They told us the compressor was, "outdated" and "dead," and would take at least three weeks and several thousand dollars to 'peice it together.' However, they could replace the entire system same day. The tech aggressively sold me a >$200 maintenance plan in order to receive a discount on the soon-to-be crazy expenses to get AC again. I was upset and asked for time to talk with my husband before making this major purchasing decision.

We decided to call another HVAC person out to give us an additional quote on a new system. To our surprise, this person not only said our compressor was fine, he got our AC working again in minutes for around $100! We'd been completely lied to by Second Chance!

I immediately called and asked for a refund of the maintenance agreement, and was contacted by the owner the next day. She promised to promptly return my check but that did not happen. The check cleared my bank, and I followed up with an email to the company, again requesting a refund. The company never replied or acknowledged my email.

DO NOT USE this company! There are plenty of honest and competent HVAC companies in OKC.

Jerry and his guys have been servicing my heat and AC for years. I also use their plumbing services. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. I've never had anyone else service my home since I first started calling them and now most of my neighbors use them as well. I've bought new AC, new heater, new hot water heater and had emergency plumbing issues all of which have been handled with the utmost care, efficiency and kindness. They have given me great advice and have helped me find economical solutions. I find them to be very responsible and of excellent character which is important to me.

Had to wait 3 days to get my A/C looked at(some time between 9am and 3pm) , they said it was completely shot. New compressor would be $2500 but I should go for the limited time special for only $7200 ... Called another company before signing my first born away and turns out it was a $60 part that needed to be replaced.
2 years ago I used this company and they did a great job. I'm glad I got a second opinion from someone other than Second Opinion.

I unfortuantely had a very dishonest and unnerving experience with this company. About a month ago I scheduled an appointment through our home warranty company (American Home Shield), who sent Second Opinion to service our outdoor air conditioning unit. The initial problem was that the indoor air handler was pushing air, but the outdoor unit was not running. The technician that came was extremely rude and belittling to my wife, and during his whole visit he was constantly pushing a "new system" on her. We had a different company service the unit less than a year ago and nothing was said about replacing the outdoor AC unit. Nevertheless, the technician finished and the system seemed to run fine.

About a month later, we began to have the same problem - the indoor air handler was pushing air while the outdoor unit was not running. I scheduled another appointment thought our home warranty, and since it was within 60 days of the last visit it was considered a "recall" and the same company had to come out to fix their mistake. I spoke with Second Opinion and explained that the same problem was occurring, and that I wanted a different technician since the previous one was rude to my wife and clearly did not fix the issue. We scheduled an appointment for the following day (which I cancelled an out-of-town trip to make sure I was here for), and not two hours later they called back and said they had double-booked the appointment. Obviously frustrated, I told them that I had moved plans to work around their schedule and now I had cancelled a trip for nothing.

Sensing my frustration, the secretary handed the phone to the "senior technician," who happened to be the one that had attempted to fix our AC unit the first time. He then (very rudely) berated me for insulating that he had done a poor job, and tried to tell me that the problems with our AC unit were completely different then when he first came out. When trying to explain that the initial "symptoms" were the same, he continued to argue with me, and also claimed that he was in no way rude to my wife and that I was being extremely disrespectful. After trying to explain that I was simply presenting the information that was told to me, he continued to yell at me and then promptly hung up the phone. So, not only did he confirm his rudeness, he made it abundantly clear that I should ever contact him ever again.

Thankfully Americn Home Shield (our Home Warranty company) was able to transfer the order, and even reschedule the appointment for the same time as the original appointment with Second Opinion. While this may have been a very isolated incident, I encourage anyone considering using this company to direct their business elsewhere.

Was scheduled with them by my home warranty. I took a couple days to get my appointment, then had to reschedule because of inclement weather (not their fault). Since this was my first time using my home warranty and I read read a lot of negative comments online about American Home Shield ripping people off, I was worried I was going to end up shelling out a lot of cash. The technician was very friendly and professional and had my unit working in 30 minutes. Luckily my issue was covered by the program. I would definitely use them again.
