RAVE!! To Handy Bros!

I MUST SAY our recent York Furnace install (with a new thermostat) was a great decision!

I have a friend, Ray, who works in commercial HVAC in the Mississauga area who told me he could only recommend 3 furnace manufacturers and York was one of them. He told me to avoid Goodman, as he has had to fix a lot of them.

So, I was quite happy to see Handy Bros. offered a York furnace package with easy financing which included a 10 year warranty on furnace parts and labour, AND had a 25 year warranty on the heat exchanger! The very thing that went wrong on our 42 year-old furnace!

I sent pictures of the furnace work that Handy Bros did, to my HVAC friend in Mississauga and after looking at the various pictures, Ray told me “that’s a good install.” And Ray does not readily praise things. He liked how Handy Brothers even made a little sheet metal holder on the side of the furnace for our instruction guide, etc. Ray said he would not have done that…and noted that was a nice added touch.

We also had Handy Brothers do our ducts.

It’s a comprehensive clean this company does, including (you may find this hard to believe) before, and after pictures of every single duct! When, I mentioned to Jonathan (of Handy Bros) about one of the vents that I was concerned about, he immediately opened up his iPad and went right to the duct in question. Jonathan showed me what was actually going on, and that I had nothing to worry about. For the longest time, I thought that duct and the vent there, was a real problem, and I was glad to discover (through the before/after pictures) that it was of no concern.

I absolutely recommend Handy Bros if you need your furnace and air conditioning done. Or even looked at. I’m not getting paid in anyway for this recommendation, but I think good service should be noted, and proclaimed.

And remember, Handy Bros even has an iPhone app! Cheers!

We had service done on our furnace, HVAC, and fireplace. Kris was on time, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgable. Kris explained all work completed, along with videos; he didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. It was a pleasure dealing with Kris. I would highly recommend Handy Bros.

Jenn was friendly, personnel, professional, and very knowledgeable about her job. She was efficient when performing her duties checking my furnace. She kept me in the know every step of the way, and made recommendations to keep my furnace running at optimum efficiency. Highly recommended.

Excellent workmanship and patient explaining operation & functions of the HVAC system and water softener. The Jamie installed new electrical connections and ran drain line across the hallway through the drop ceiling so it was not noticeable.

Furnace went out throughout the night, Handy Bros was able to get it back up and running on Saturday in good time as well as check the system for current efficiancy. Service tech was a great guy also. Definitely would recommend.

Handy Bros. just installed a tankless water heater, and from sales through installation, they were polite, professional, and hard-working. We compared pricing and debated between renting or buying and always came back to Handy Bros pricing for a superior product, and their monthly finance amount was less than renting with Reliance
Just wanted to add an update to my review. We were also in need of replacing our furnace and again chose Handy Bros after price shopping. The install team worked hard and got the job done with almost no disruption in our gas service on a very cold day. Their pricing again was competitive enough for us to choose buying over renting, and it's nice knowing we have a brand new furnace/ac unit with a 10 year warranty.

We recently had Handy Bros come in a do duct cleaning in our house. Handy Bros has always given us friendly professional service, as well as being very thorough. The technicians always explain everything to me, and are open to answering any questions, without hesitation. They do great quality work, hence why we keep choosing them over and over!

In January our hot water tank gave out. Early morning wakeup call. Urban Heating was there when we needed them. They did not stop until everything was back to normal and they were all very pleasant the whole time. Great company, great people.

Boxing Day late afternoon, the Hydro went out because of the ice storm, I laid in the evening. I realised the Thermostat/furnace didn’t come back on when the power came back on. My usual provider did not return calls or text in a timely manner(3hr) in the morning so I called Handy Bros. I was desperate to get the heat back on. Mike was there in maybe an hour, brought me a coffee (very much needed ) found out what the problem was, and offered the solutions. This was a bit of a crisis, and I was very glad to get the heat back on. I will be using this company in the future.. Hopefully, just for maintenance and not another crisis!

Handy Bros is an amazing company. They have been providing us with maintenance services since we arrived here 4 years ago. They recently installed for us a new furnace, heat pump and tankless water heater. Three guys and one day and it was all done. I highly recommend these guys as there are professional and yet very personable. Great company!

I had a great experience, they have been kind and courteous. They connected with me in text and again with a call when they were on route to my place.
When here for the inspection and diagnostic they were honest and gave clear explanations as to what was the issue and quickly worked up an estimate on the cost of thr parts and repairs needed.
It was an overall great experience.

By far the best company I have ever dealt with. Kumail was on time, explained everything that he was doing with my HVAC system while at my house, and thoroughly went through the system.

Very nice people to work with. Did a great job. It's my second purchase from Handybros in about two months. I don't care much about the AI Assistant on the phone, as I found myself talking to it before realizing it isn't a person. Otherwise it was a great experience.
