I can't say enough great things about Northstar Plumbing Windsor! I called the morning of because my sub-pump backed up and I needed to have it fixed immediately. The company rep that I initially spoke to was fabulous. She listened to my issue, made a recommendation, gave me worst case ball park costs and then set up an appointment same day. I later received a text to let me know exactly when the technicians were on their way; and they arrived as scheduled. While at my home, the technicians/plumbers took the time to check my current equipment, look for blockages and explain to me what needed to be done. They then went ahead and replaced my current sub-pump with a new one made by Liberty. They then explained why they use Liberty products, the longevity of the unit and the warranty. They also tested to ensure everything was in working order before leaving. Northstar Plumbing truly saved my day and I would highly recommend them and I will definitely use them when needed in the future.

Diligent work and charges every half-hour of work. Their efficiency is higher than other work estimates and their workers did beat my expectations on timing to ensure I'm not overcharged. Very thankful for the honest work in my January water heater installation.

This is the second time we have used Northstar Plumbing for our plumbing needs. We were so pleased with the results when we needed our kitchen faucet installed that we didn’t hesitate to call them to help resolve our bathroom toilet leak. They did not disappoint. The service was excellent. We were given an appointment for the next day. The servicemen called as we were told and arrived promptly. After examining the situation, the problem was explained to us so that we understood what was happening. We were given several options to resolve the problem and we felt comfortable making an informed decision. Rob and Brian were wonderful to work with. They were friendly, helpful and professional. We would recommend Northstar Plumbing without any reservations.

The second time, he successfully diagnosed an after-installation problem from another installer's product.

Rob, the plumber that we requested arrived in the time window promised. He did all of the jobs requested and in one case, found a broken toilet flange, for which he had a steel repair component . We have used Northstar about five times and been pleased with the work done.

Called Northstar to fix problems with a toilet and bathroom sink. Rick and Mark came to do the job. They were friendly, professional and highly effective and efficient. Best plumbing experience I have had in Windsor. I will be calling Northstar for my future plumbing needs.

Worst service with the most miserable and untruthful plumber person Rob and we had to pay the most outrageous price I have ever paid a company to instal a simple set of bathroom taps after they failed and broke our original set they where supposed to simply change cartridges in. We where charged $470.70 plus we had to buy new taps for another 219.00 so $ 689.00 total and had to deal with the plumber from hell Rob who charged us an extra 1/2 hour labor of $75.00 to tighten the tap on the left side that he either forgot to tighten and was planning on just leaving it loose after he said the job was completed and it should have been included in the original $150 first hour charge but because he had to spend 10 minutes to fix it proper as it should have been originally he decided and charged us a full half hour labor extra and made like it was our issue and tried to tell us those wide spread taps are like that to which we basically where insulted and said “come on now” really. They instal them and then leave the handles loose and off centre from one side to the other. That’s an insult . Find a local reasonable company and get a firm quote up front unlike this one. They even charged us a Fuel and equipment surcharge of $10.50 and they are 5 minutes from my house. Never again Northstar. Then to add insult to injury after this ordeal he leaves our house , Thank God and the pea trap starts leaking so I call the office and they say oh well its 3:30:Friday, we can’t do anything until Monday. When they could have simply sent him back to fix his mess as they are only 5 minutes away from our home. Beware friends. Save yourself a lot of upset and grief find someone honourable. Oh and don’t call the office if you need anything after the fact or want to talk to the owner because he will never call you back. Not an honourable experience nor a very good business ethic going on here. Stay away.
