Reviews of local pros in Gladstone, Oregon

Charged $595 , only takes cash or Venmo , carpet still smells, it does looks better , owner operator worked alone. Did whole house in under 90 minutes. We had everything moved and ready , 3 bed rooms, living room, stairs & very small hallway.

Full disclosure. I' know this guy. Have known him since we were 5 years old. Knew he did carpets and upholstery, have referred him to friends and family. I never needed him. I have my own carpet cleaner....Okay, well, let me tell you.... I ended up needing him... My husband and I live in the country, big dogs, muddy mole-hills in the yard the dog likes to dig in, and a really bad cat issue that I would rather not talk about. It was to the point that my husband and I decided there was no saving it (the carpet)... and really there isn't... We fully intend to completely re-do all the floors in the house.... but not before this Saturday (when we will be having last minute guests to celebrate my daughters graduation.) Okay, poor planing yes, but life happens. Because we had thrown in the towel, our poor carpet was in a state beyond that which normal people would walk on it without shoes. Really, really, that bad.. But why worry it is soon to be replaced and new, we don't get much in the way of visitors...It was beyond bad. What we came home to after Doug had been to the house, what SuperDougCarpetCleaniologist was able to accomplish was truly and sincerely amazing. This stink bug mud pile carpet looked literally completely brand new and smells a whole lot better too. Thank you Doug for this, I really appreciate your efforts and for fitting us in.. Your Tagline Call Doug for a Clean Rug is truth in advertising. Love you man!

We love working with TLC Carpet Cleaning and Doug! Thank you for doing such a great job. It was so quick and even our older carpets look beautiful!

Great service with a smile! Doug came to our rescue when our timeline for a move out was quickly closing in on us. Call Doug for a clean rug, and tile and hardwood floors too!

Doug trustworthy, thorough and wonderful to work with. I know I can always count on him to be timely and do a fantastic job cleaning my carpets - and I have 3 dogs! Laura E.

I had new carpeting installed two years ago. The manufacturer advised me that I needed to have carpet cleaned every two years minimum by an IICRC certified carpet cleaner. I called Chem-Dry but learned their techs attended training but the manager reported they never paid for certification. Wanting to avoid voiding my warranty I called the store where I purchased my carpet. They recommended Doug Loose, TLC Carpet Cleaning. Doug maintains the carpeting in their showroom.
Now I can and do recommend Doug to anyone needing their carpets cleaned. Setting up an appointment was a smooth process and he advised me not to worry about vacuuming my carpet. He thoroughly vacuumed all the carpeting prior to doing the cleaning. His extraction process left the carpet with minimum moisture and it dried quickly. He is both professional and friendly. Pricing was both fair and competitive. I plan to have him clean our carpets yearly rather than the two year manufacturer’s minimum requirement.
And a post script... A week after he cleaned the carpet I dumped a cup of coffee and creamer. I followed recommended spill removal procedure but was still left with a stain. I called Doug and he was here this afternoon to complete the process and the stain is gone. In addition, though I didn’t need color repair on the carpet, I learned that Doug has Master’s Certification for color restoration…keep that bleach away from your carpet but if you mess up call Doug!!

Spot on! Great work with a smile. Carpets are spotless without any residual chemical smell and they dried up quickly. Couldn't imagine being happier with their service. Only call I'll make for carpet cleaning is to Doug @ TLC!!

Doug did a great job cleaning our carpets. Carpets were run down by dogs and he made them look really clean again. We’re very pleased with the outcome and the service we received.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Doug is a great guy and carpets came out looking very nice!

Doug was easy to get ahold of and fast to schedule our carpet cleaning. He's very professional and does a great job! Loved getting my Ivory carpet back!

Doug was very professional and on time!!! The carpets look great!
You need your carpets done TLC is the place to call. Timely appointment and just a nice guy!!

With a 7 month old little one getting ready to crawl, I called Doug. He did a great job cleaning our rug so it is now clean and dog hair free so baby can explore and not get too dirty! "Call Doug for a clean Rug"
Fast and friendly!

I thought I was going to have to buy new couches, but a visit from TLC made them look almost new! I can't believe the difference. Doug did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone for their furniture or carpet needs. Just a fabulous job and experience! Thanks TLC!

Great customer service! I loved having Doug in my home. He came quickly to clean my couches and entertained my 4 year old at the same time. The couches turned out amazing! I had every spill a 4 and 1 year old can put on couches. Couldn't believe he got out the pen and blue popsicle. No harsh chemical smell. I highly recommend to anyone with any carpets/couches/rugs ect.

Doug did an awesome job of cleaning my recliner loveseat. The thing smelled like dog, but after Doug worked his magic the dog smell was gone. He was flexible and was really nice. Thanks for helping me out, Doug!

I guess this is another proof positive, you get what you pay for.
When Doug arrived, we showed him all carpeted areas needing cleaning... As he was bringing his equipment in, i told him i was aware not all of the stains were removable.. He glanced around at the carpet & said, "yea, i think they're all probably removable"
Whatever i thought, he would see! My carpets hadn't come really clean/clear of stains in so many years!
I had to leave to an appointment while Doug was still hard at work...

Imagine my surprise when i came home to stain free carpets in my entry, staircase, & hallway,,etc!!
What!? Are you kidding me? I didn't even know that was possible!!
I had been paying another guy just over a hundred a pop for the last 10plus years! And had grown used to be told, stains not removable, & the having the cleaners in out in a flash..
I thought i had permanently stained carpets & tonight they look amazing! Im wowed for sure!
Great job, Thanks Doug! Definitely worth the money to feel/see this difference!!

We have a 2 year old house with thick pile carpet that started bunching up in ridges and needed to be stretched in a few rooms and in our upstairs hallway. Doug did a great job, took a few hours and he had to cut a new seam in the hallway and you can't see it unless you know where to look (and even then it's tough.) Will use him when it's time to clean the carpets. Great work!

Doug is the man. My cat sprayed on the carpet leaving a big stain and causing the apartment to smell so bad it was hard to be in there. Doug came and knocked out the stain and smell in a couple minutes, and gave me instructions on what to do if the smell came back at all. Super kind helpful person. If you need your carpet cleaned/repaired this is the company to call!

After reading a number of excellent reviews on my local Nextdoor website, I hired TLC to clean the living room carpet per our lease agreement. With one dog and two cats, the carpet had some lingering animal odors. Doug and crew removed stains, cleaned and deodorized the carpet. The rental carpet looks fabulous, didn't think it could ever look this good! Professional, knowledgeable and personable, along with affordable rates. Highly recommend.

Doug is amazing!!! He does wonderful work, is extremely friendly and all around great! I know many people that use him for their carpet cleaning, which is why we went with him and we are glad we did!!

Doug is a true professional and prime example of what it means to be a small business owner in America that is reliable, resourceful, and commits to his word.
That kind of professionalism is incredibly rare to find these days. Doug is, without a doubt, a savior of carpet cleaning.
We have carpet in our kitchen (a true nightmare), but now we can be at peace with our home. The carpets in the kitchen, living room, and stairs are so clean it's mind-blowing.
Nasty smells are gone and we're not embarrassed having people visit anymore. Thank you, Doug. God Bless!
