After contacting several roofing companies based on friends’ recommendations West Coast Roofing & Painting was the quickest to respond. (Some never did!) Within a couple of days their sales representative, Victor, came and provided a free estimate and answered all our questions about products, warranties and scheduling. He even brought samples. While he never pressured us, or attempted to up-sell, he made it clear they wanted to earn our business.
The price we were quoted was right in the ballpark with the other quotes we received, but because of the responsiveness and professionalism of the company, we went with West Coast.
Our project was scheduled within a couple of weeks, and thanks to good weather happened exactly as planned. The crew that came were amazing! They completed the job even quicker than we anticipated and left our home and yard as clean as it was when they arrived. In fact, it looked better with our brand-new roof! And our final bill was exactly what we’d been quoted -- no surprises or hidden charges.
We will definitely be recommending West Coast Roofing & Painting to friends and neighbors. And when it’s time for a new paint job, they will be the first company we call.

Just had a new roof put on and they did a great job. Easy and no pressure start with a free estimate and great explanation of what they would do for the roofing job. They explained the couple of different options and pricing. I said I would get back to them about my decision on if I would move forward with them. They didn't bother me with phone calls and emails and waited for me to contact them. I decided to go with them and they came out right away with the roof samples and we signed on with them. After just a few weeks, they came out and did the job. They came out with the a good crew who seemed very professional and they worked very hard. They did a great job and the roof looks good. The best thing I can say about this company is the communication level. You're not left wondering what's going on and they communicate well throughout the whole process. I strongly recommend people give them a chance, I don't think they'll disappoint you. It feels like for the quality work received and the good customer service that this was money well spent.

West Coast Roofing & Painting replace our old roof, and I was impressed by the crew. They arrived when scheduled and they worked hard the entire time. The crew leader was quick to point out if anything was wrong and they took the time to make sure everything was correct. The crew also spent a great deal of time cleaning up at the end so it would look as if they were never there. While West Coast Roofing was not the cheapest, they offered a great warranty and options, and now that the roof is complete, we are happy with our choice.

We had a leak in our skylight and after calling several roofers, no one was able to come give us an estimate for at least a week! Josue Sanchez from West Coast Roofing was able to take a look the next day and clearly explained what needed repair. His estimate was fair and affordable. We are very happy with the work and would highly recommend this business!

I can't say enough positive things about West Coast Roofing. Tim the estimator gave me the most information and choices out of the 6 bids I received. His knowledge of their products and fair quote made my pick easy. I had the best crew who did the install better than I could have imagined. My house was built in 1906 and had a lot of challenges but they fixed everything. Their clean up was extremely great and my yard looked nicer than before they started. Amazing company to work with from start to finish. Great communication and staff!

We had an excellent experience with West Coast Roofing & Painting. They installed a new roof for us. Our house is old. The roof is very steep in some places and very shallow in others. We live on a busy street with limited space for setting up equipment. They made the situation work with no problems. They worked efficiently and did quality work.

The best part of our experience, hands down, was our interactions with our consultant, Josué Sanchez. He responded to all of our messages quickly and thoughtfully. Josué really went above and beyond to make the experience an excellent one for us.

West Coast Roofing and Painting laid down new membrane and flashing on the flat roof over my garage about 10 years ago and did a great job. They recently came out to assess how it was performing and were really great at pointing out where to look for signs of concern. Fermin was very easy to work with and a good communicator. Happy to recommend this company.

West Coast Roofing and Painting is great! They replaced our 20-year old roof in 3 days. Every aspect of the project was well-done from initial contact with the office staff, to estimating (Lucas is fantastic to work with), to final cleanup. The work was done on-time and per the project estimate. The crew was quick, efficient, and highly skilled. There were no surprises and we felt that West Coast was consistently responsive to our questions and concerns. We now an excellent new roof (our neighbors even commented on it!) at a reasonable cost. We trust West Coast Roofing and Painting and will go back to them when we need further work on our home.

Josue, our rep, was very friendly, communicative, and professional from beginning to end. He did an exterior and interior inspection during our consultation phase, put together a number of estimates with different levels of roofing material and warranty options to meet our budget, and was very honest about his recommendations--he did not try to upsell us on anything as a couple of other companies had. Josue kept us up-to-date on our timeline (to avoid the rain as we installed in October) and checked in on our project daily once our project commenced.

The crew who came to install our roof were polite and respectful of our property, and worked to make sure our exterior was carefully tidied up after each day (we have a dog so very much appreciated the effort).

Overall, it was a very efficient process with WCR&P, and I would absolutely recommend them.

We just bought a house in Portland, Oregon. I noticed an area where the gutter was leaking and a second area where some shingles were becoming detached. On the advice of a contractor I’ve used, I called Fermin at West Coast Roofing. He came out the next day and inspected the areas. He scheduled the work for the first day that weather would allow. The crew arrived on time, went right to work and fixed the problems. The price was as quoted and the work was just great! They even did some touch up painting and cleaned up throughly. I wouldn’t hesitate to unconditionally recommend them for any job big or small. They are very nice people who absolutely know roofing and painting.

Josue was very customer service oriented and worked with me to stay within budget and at the same time priced a quality exterior painting project. Timelines were met or exceeded and the work he said would be done was done, when said it would be and was done well. Alejandro and his crew did an excellent job preparing my house and followed up by painting it well and in a Timely manner. They also responded well to the minimal touch up, change requests and clean up issues that we had. Over all an excellent contractor project experience. My house looks great.

They started the job when they said they would. The crew worked hard. Took the old roof off in one day, put the new roof on in one day. The roof was installed exactly how Josue said they would do it. We enjoyed our experience with West Coast Roofing and Painting! They went above and beyond to make sure our roof was in tip top shape. There was very clear communication on what they suggested be fixed on the roof before they went ahead, so no surprise costs at the end! The paint job looks fantastic and the entire crew was friendly, efficient and fun. Definitely recommend them for roofing repairs and house sealing and painting!

Very professional team completed my job in less than a week. They were safe even with a very steep pitched roof. I noticed one minor issue once the job was done and the staff was very responsive in sending someone back to resolve it quickly. From signing the contract to finishing the job the communication was consistent and clear.

We hired West Coast to replace our roofs as part of a repair negotiation while under contract with a buyer to sell our house. At first things seemed fine, but our mini split AC systems would not turn on after the job was complete. West Coast sent out two of their workers to investigate, who claimed to not find any issues caused by their work. However, we knew the system was working perfectly due to the home inspection done days prior to the roofing job. We had two separate HVAC companies come out, and both discovered & photographed evidence that West Coast had put a nail through our refrigerant line, making the system inoperable. We had to delay the closing of our sale in order to negotiate and pre-pay for a new lineset repair (an $1825 job), on an extremely tight timeline because we were at risk of losing our sale. These repair bids also had to be approved by our buyer. We have been going back and forth with West Coast's office and team, and have asked for them to cover the cost of this repair due to the damage they caused. They said they would not cover the cost and offered up their "specialists" to fix it , but our situation required the work to be done by a professional HVAC company and our trust had already been shaken due to the fact that they previously denied causing the damage. We had a uniquely stressful experience due I hope it will be resolved fairly. If we are refunded the $1825 we had to cover for their damage, I will be happy to adjust my review accordingly to reflect an honest, fair outcome.

Amazing Experience… I still can’t believe it!
First, I chose this company (I got 3 bids) because of the professionalism, patience and knowledge of estimator Josue Sanchez. It wasn’t the least expensive bid, (they were all pretty close) I chose them because of my feeling of trust and safety.
Second? The crew was FANTASTIC, and WAY beyond my expectations. Alejandro and Eduardo❤️ (there were more crew members) went ABOVE and BEYOND what I could have hoped or imagined to expect. They worked safely (super tall ladders) and physically hard in hot temperatures. They communicated with me so efficiently. They did a perfect job, were so friendly and patient and so darling to have on my property. They did such a good job I worried they would charge me more than what was estimated but the cost was exactly what was estimated.
I highly recommend this company. I will use them again and would trust them with my family and friends. SO good!
