West Coast Roofing and Painting Inc was a pleasure to work with for our home project. We asked them to put together a bid for roof replacement, exterior paint, and new gutters. They were very competitive in their bid, and incredibly personable to interact with. They take great pride in the work they do. We are very satisfied with the final outcome of the project, and we highly recommend them!

We had a fantastic experience with West Coast Roofing during our recent roof replacement. Josue Sanchez was our point of contact for the duration of the project and he was responsive, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout. We decided to change the color of our roof shingle after they had already been delivered and placed on top of our roof - Josue quickly made the switch and handled the process seamlessly to make sure there was no delay.

His crew was incredibly hard-working and dedicated to our project. We are so happy with the final result!

West Coast Roofing and Painting was fantastic! They replaced our worn out roofing in a few days. I received quotes from other roofing companies and decided to go with WCRP. I'm so glad I did. Their estimate was competitive and on the plus side their work was excellent. JR Sanchez (roofing consultant) did a great job keeping us informed with the process. When it was time for us to select the roofing color/type, he brought over samples to select from. This was much better than selecting a type from a brochure. This Company is very good. I had my roof replaced 5 years ago and just had an issue with a water leak. I called them and they were out the next day. In less than 30 minutes they identified the water problem which wasn't from the roof. They offered me a very inexpensive solution and had my problem taken care of in a matter of 45 minutes. Best service ever. I chose this company for my roof and now how they treated me five years later I have to give them 5 stars and a few more. Thank you West Coast!!

We have requested estimates from several companies and selected West Coast Roofing because of their price and reputation. They have removed old cedar planks and replaced our entire roofing with beautiful Presidential TL tiles within 2 days. The crew was professional and they did an excellent job, cleaning well at the end of services. Therefore I give them best rating.

They Were very helpful when I had questions. They cleaned up any debris at the end of each day kept it clean and they did a professional job. You get what you pay for and more. We’d spoken with multiple companies and thanks to the hard work of this team, we were able to get everything we needed done despite the onset of the rainy season. I'm happy with our experience with West Coast Roofing. Out of all the estimates we received, they were the most relaxed about the process. I never felt like I was receiving a hard sell. They finished our roof in two days, even with having to do unexpected work on the deck and eaves. They were up front about the extra costs and sought our approval the whole way. I also think they gave us a good deal.

A new roof was required as the former roof was about at the end of it's useful life with many torn shingles, exposed and rusting nail heads, compromised underlayment, missing plywood sheathing, holes from old satellite dishes, etc.

The entire process from start to finish was almost perfectly smooth. The initial estimate was provided in a timely manner. My questions about the roof and the overall project were answered in a clear and concise manner so that I was not confused about what to expect. Multiple options were offered to deal with the lack of adequate ventilation in the attic as well. I ended up opting for the ridge and edge ventilation system instead of adding more box vents to the roof. I was provided a start date of 1/6/17 but I was given advanced notice that the workers would be able to start earlier on 1/4/17 which they did. The entirety of the work was completed in two days. I did need to remind the workers to reconnect the bathroom vent as I had noticed it venting directly into my attic. It's an honest mistake that can happen and they had no problem taking care of it for me once pointed out. They did a great job with the cleanup. Only tiny pieces of evidence were left behind such as a few rubber bands which was of no consequence to me. After the work was completed, I had Octopus Home Inspections come out to validate the work. The inspector was impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. All in all, this was a great experience and I would not hesitate to recommend or use this company for myself again in the future. Please note in my attached pictures that the shingles are freshly installed in the winter months. Thus they will appear warped as they won't really flatten out until heated in the summer.

We were extremely happy with the workmanship and experience having West Coast Roofing & Painting on our project. Their pricing was also reasonably competitive, and they were willing to be flexible with costs as new complications arose with our project. They had been recommended to us from a trusted professional, and they lived up to and went beyond our expectations. What started as a roof replacement on our flat roofed mid century home ended up including some siding work, as damage was uncovered after removing the old roofing materials. Rocky was the foreman on our job, and he and the owner Fermin made sure everything was right - from the custom sized lumber we needed to match the areas that needed to be replaced in our rough hewn douglas fir ceiling, to the way the nails aligned on the clear cedar replacement siding installation. Even after the job was completed and signed off on, when I found something I wasn't happy with, they were very responsive and came out personally to review and discuss remedy options - which we are very happy with. The crew was professional and friendly, and each evening they left our property neat and clean. We will gladly work with them again for any future needs.

This company did amazing job on my neighbor’s houses a few years ago and we decided to give a try .
Installation of new roof was on September 11,2023. We waited a month, because to be clear that the roof isn’t leaking .
We were working directly with the owner Joshua/J- he was communicating with us and working with us to make this project easy to handle .
From the beginning to the end his crew was very good at what they do. They communicated with through out of the day. The crew was working hard, they were very respectful and kind . They always cleaned up at the end of each working day. I was pleased to hear from the neighbors that they even asked to clean up the scraps from their yard.
We never done roof replacement, but Joshua/J helped us out by being very patient, professional, friendly and always answering all my “silly” questions.

These guys were awesome to work with! We needed part of our roof fixed due to a leaking skylight and other damage. When additional repairs were needed, they notified me right away so I could approve the change order. No surprises on the final bill. I’ll definitely call them when I’m ready to replace the remaining roof.

I recently had my house roof updated by the West Coast Roofing and Painting. The new roof looks beautiful (refer to the pictures). The entire crew did an amazing job to complete the work on time and avoided the rain the next morning. Everyone in the crew was very courteous and extremely hard-working. They also kept the job site clean and organized both days, even my neighbor noticed that. :)
You might wonder how their quote compares to other roofing companies? I asked three roofing companies to give me their quotes. West Coast Roofing's estimate was competitive. they were just a tiny bit higher than the other company's quote (within $100 difference) based on the same brand and same grade of the shingles and everything else on the contract. I had to choose one company from the two very close bids. The estimator, Josue, made it easy for my decision. Josue, who was a very experienced roofer himself, climbed up to my house roof and took pictures to show me the windstorm damages to my roof, and then he gave me his recommendations. The other company's estimator looked around my house and from the other side of the road and that was it. I value Josue's efforts in earning every potential business contract including mine. Lastly, everyone I interacted in this company was friendly and very happy to help their clients, From Zury who answered numerous questions for me on the phone, to Roy and Eric, the crew leads, and the rest of the crew members who I don't have their names with, I appreciate your hard work. I'd recommend West Coast Roofing & Painting to my friends and neighbors.

We had West Coast Roofing and Painting replaced our roof. They did an outstanding job and we are very pleased. We scheduled the job and they were at our house on time. They stripped off the old roof, replaced some water damaged wood and also repaired a faulty furnace vent line for us. All new flashings were installed and it took them a smidge over 2 days including all the cleanup. They were very friendly and their communication was very much appreciated. It is so nice when a contractor shows up when they say they will and then do a fantastic job.

The best roofing company! I got back from being out of town and realized we had a leak in our roof. This is the second leak that has popped up over the last year. We decided it was finally time to replace the roof. I called on a Saturday. Josue gave us a quote on a Sunday, and work on our new roof started a week later. They finished the job in 3 days between rain storms! I’m blown away by their pricing, professionalism, great communication, and speed. They offered a great warranty and great pricing in comparison to other Portland companies we had try to give us quotes a year earlier that were outrageous. They replaced our old rotted out boards and even painted the new ones to match the house. Thank you Josue and your very amazing team. We are so grateful for you and your expertise.
