I have been working with Floor Solutions for over 3 years, and my company has been working with them for much, much longer! It is so wonderful to have a vendor you can count on for both long term projects like installations and regularly scheduled preventative maintenance, and when you’re in a pinch and need something cleaned or fixed with practically no notice! Floor Solutions is always responsive and clear about what they can and can’t accomplish in a given timeline, which has been so important to me while maintaining monthly budgets, reporting, and up-to-date accounting. Floor Solutions is my go-to for all of the commercial properties I manage, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for installation or maintenance of flooring.

Horrible customer service don’t visit this place or do business with them. I called and asked for a tech that can install floors and they said they do 3rd party contractors. All they can do is sell us floors. When asked for a contractor to do work if he can suggest me one they use he hung up on me because I already had my product. DISRESPECTFUL. you lost a lot of future buisness with me. I have multiple floor jobs at 5 of my properties. I’m sure this place won’t be in the pearl very long. ✌🏾

We paid big bucks to have him inspect and replace some worn out singles on our cedar roof, and guess what, we had a roof leak a few months later, which had never happened before his repairs. Will never go back to him for roof repairs.

Abe has been a joy to work with. He is very responsive and the people that he hires are such conscientious, hard workers. I would recommend him without hesitation!

Very friendly and easy to talk to. But sadly, poor workmanship. The roof looks very nice from afar, but apparently nails were used on shake shingle where they shouldn't have been. So we now have a pretty significant leak. Very disappointing. Now we have to pay many times more to have the problem fixed.

Abe provides excellent customer service.

I drove around neighborhoods to see roofing that I liked. When I inquired at a couple of homes, they said that Abe’s had done their work. We have worked with Abe for years now and wouldn’t consider anyone else. He is honest, responsive, and does excellent work. We HIGHLY recommend Abe’s Power Wash.

We have had Abe repair, clean, and treat our cedar shake roof for the past 25 years. We credit Abe and his crew for keeping our roof in excellent shape. When all of our neighbors have had to replace their roofs, ours still looks like new. Abe has also power washed our walkway and drive and done an excellent job. We would highly recommend him to others.

Abe's Power Washing is the BEST! He gave me a very reasonable price for power washing the gutters and vinyl siding on my mother's house. It had been years, and I mean years, since it had been washed. As they were cleaning the house, I decided to also have the roof done. Boy, am I glad! The roof looks brand new. The vinyl siding hasn't been this clean since it was installed. The best part about the whole process, Abe is just a wonderful human being! He is honest, kind, professional, and reliable. He is just all around a very genuine and sincere person. I enjoyed visiting with him very much! So, did my family. I would highly recommend his services to anyone without hesitation!

We had a great experience with Louis, Jake, and the team at Portland Fireplace and Chimney during a chimney repair/rebuild and conversion of a gas fireplace insert to a masonry fireplace. They are a professional and experienced team with great attention to detail, and are easy to work with: I highly recommend them!

We scheduled the initial visit for water coming into an interior wall and soft mortar and broken bricks on the chimney of our nearly hundred-year old home. There were initial delays in scheduling and some confusion due to a busy crew after the ice storms. But during a personal visit by the owner, Louis demonstrated amazing insight into the condition of the chimney and the likely causes of symptoms we were seeing. The significant repair work recommended was a bit of a surprise, then during the repair rotting boards on the house behind the chimney were found adding more repair scope. However, with Louis's seasoned advice we made the best out of the discovered damage: getting it repaired right for the long-term.

Jake the foreman, Timmy, Duck, Cale, and the rest of the crew were amazing during the repair: responsible, consistent, and hard-working! They created a beautiful fireplace and chimney from the mantle all the way up. Through the discovery and estimate process for all the changes Jake and Louis was an amazing and reliable resource - with his seasoned advice and good follow-through we could shift and save money where possible and still have exactly what we needed.

I learned a lot about chimneys during this process, so what the other posts say about education is true: they are helpful in explaining at every step what is happening, why, and how to prevent issues in the future with regular maintenance. We are now in a drying period before the final steps so have not yet lit our first fire, but we are looking forward to trying it out and kicking off the next hundred years. I can update this review again in a couple months with our final experiences.

Overall, Portland Fireplace and Chimney was responsible, great to work with, and delivered good value for their hard work. You couldn't find a better chimney team if you tried!

We had two previous companies look at our gas fireplace; both outcomes were ineffective and we just about gave up. We heard about the good experiences neighbors had with Portland Fireplace and Chimney and Brittany got us an appointment during their busiest time of the year! Stephen, the technician, was incredibly knowledgeable and got our fireplace working! He took his time checking everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. It feels good to have reliable, honest and knowledgeable resources like PFC to help us keep our home functioning and safe.

I recently had a fireplace inspection through Portland Fireplace & Chimney. The inspector, Mike was courteous, well informed, a good reflectively listener, and was able to make meaningful suggestions.
He gave detailed responses and a detailed inspection report, including direct responses to my questions.
Mike was realistic about options and explanations as to the why and how come of possibilities.
I am confident and comfortable in continuing with fireplace services into the future.

I have worked with several companies the last few weeks for different repairs and my experience with Portland Fireplace and Chimney was by far the best. Outstanding professionalism, honesty, no-nonsense.

After a different chimney inspector that starts with A and rhymes with madame told me my entire fireplace was built wrong, with wrong bricks, wrong mortar, and the entire structure is falling apart and going to collapse, I needed a second opinion.

The owner of PFC told me the only problems with my chimney are cosmetic and to burn some wood!

I trust this guy to be a straight shooter and not look for a whale of a client to buy himself a new boat like the A***'s chimney inspector.

I plan to hire them when we have enough money to fix the cosmetic items. Easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I appreciated that he was able to explain his thinking.

And a quote and estimate the same day! The other chimney guy took more than a month for a quote to rebuild the entire chimney for the price of a new SUV.
