The team at Orbit is second to none! I was in a bind and needed my heating system replaced. They worked quickly to source and replace my unit in a short turnaround time. When it came time to sell the house, the buyers wanted something changed with the venting and Orbit fit me in very quickly. Shannon's communication was perfect. We contacted Orbit to install an AC at our house and we had a great experience from start to finish! We received three bids for the project and their's was very competitive and they were the most flexible, their customer service was great, and they answered all our questions. On installation day, they showed up on time and our installers Aaron and Emily were awesome. Couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Orbit.

After having a very poor experience with another heating and air conditioning company who just wanted to upsell us on a new furnace when we only needed annual maintenance, we were extremely pleased with the thoroughness and competence of Orbit Heating and Cooling. We were very impressed by Emily and Casey who did the maintenance and assessment of our American Standard furnace. Emily was especially adept at explaining to us what she and Casey had done, the condition of our furnace and how, with annual maintenance, we would likely have several more years of service with it. We highly recommend Orbit Heating and Cooling if you are looking for honest and competent professionals to take care of your HVAC needs.

We have had Orbit Heating & AC perform maintenace on our system for the past few years. Their technician is awesome, friendly, professional and repaired an issue we had with the old system. Just recently we upgraded to a variable speed system which is much quieter and energy efficient and they were awesome throughout the whole process from estimate to final inspection. Highly recommend them, honest, hard working and they have integrity.

Orbit is the best HVAC company in all of Portland. They rescued us during one of our freeze events a year ago and have been a client ever since. Emily is incredibly knowledgable and provides 10/10 service. If you have issues with equipment that heats or cools your home call Orbit.

This year I had about 4 different furnace issues between office and home and a separate minisplit and old gas furnace decommissioning. Travis, Jennifer, Shannon, Aaron, and Emily - everyone on the team, really were great.

Even when it was over the recent ice storm; even when we had quirky spaces; even when costs were an issue; even when a fix turned into a condemned furnace. Orbit and their team are just great people, doing great work, and earning a fair wage. I got a great deal on everything. I got great customer service. They were responsive and prioritized us multiple times when we lost heat. This feels like integrity in business.

I've used Orbit a bunch of times now for the servicing of my existing furnace as well as the installations of a new furnace, A/C, and mini-split heat-pump over the past several years. The whole team is friendly, responsive, and great to work with. When my existing furnace's heat exchanger finally died they were able to give me a range of reasonably-priced options and get a new furnace installed in just a few days. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience using Orbit to install three mini-splits in our older Portland home. In these days of climate change, having some type of cooling has gone from luxury to need. Our home was built in the '50's and has no duct work and an unusual floor plan with a divided attic space. The folks at Orbit were able to devise a solution to meet our needs and Aaron and Emily did a truly amazing job installing the units and blending all the work seamlessly into our home. The units work great, have been a game changer during the 90 and 100 degree days, and will be a great asset for heating in winter, too. Most of all, everyone we worked with at Orbit was kind and considerate of our needs and concerns, including making sure to keep track of our two elderly cats during the install. I would recommend them without hesitation - they are experts at what they do and excellent to work with!

Amazing folks!! Our furnace was making an extremely loud humming/buzzing sound out of the blue. There's so much good to say about the experience with Orbits staff, but will focus on important parts:
Emily diagnosed the problem in moments.
Shannon was communicative and facilitated an easy process to get approval from our landlord to do repairs, as well as all of the other legwork necessary.
Emily repaired and explained the repairs so expertly.
Both worked hard to make sure we had the repair before the weekend in case the situation deteriorated and we'd end up without heat and cared very much about a good result. This meant so much!
This company cares about doing a thorough and careful job, getting it done well and without delay, and communicating wonderfully and professionally with their clients. Thanks so much for a great experience!!

Orbit has been essential in my ability to stay in my home as I age. I trust them and call whenever I have a problem with my HVAC system. They installed my whole home air conditioning system and maintain my older heating unit. When I contact them I never wait long to hear back, they even have an after hours number. Friends and neighbors who I have also recommended to orbit have experienced the same excellent service. Emily is their tech, who does a great job taking care of my system and is very professional and personable, easy to talk to.

I have great experience with this business. Their engineer Emily did a great job with our natural gas pipeline installation, and went above and beyond to help us connect our gas stove too. She communicated well and shared many details of the project during the installation. The project quality is also very good. I would recommend them for your next project.

Jennifer came out to our home to bid on a new AC and furnace. She was very knowledgeable and gave us many options regarding standard ac, heat pumps, dual fuel systems and more. Most importantly, she advised us on what brands and equipment were right for our budget. We had loads of questions for her and she always was quick to share her knowledge. Fantastic company!
