Ian came by today to help us navigate a 20+ year old hvac system, we are working with our home owners insurance for half of it and he really made the whole process so easy and laid back in a professional way. He felt like an old friend and was so kind to my toddler who was so curious about this new person in the house and wanted to go through all of his things. He was so patient and so kind. I really appreciated that he didn’t rush through explaining things to me and again when my husband called to check in. We felt like we were making the right decisions about a huge investment into our home because of the ease of information and transparency about everything. This company is 10/10 for customers and needs to be raved about. Also the people they hire are great, my daughter insisted on holding his hand to walk him to the door. So sweet.

Mario came to see why my thermostat wasn't working found out it was more then just that. He is very respectful, informative and kind. Definitely a great person all around. The company has great service and well be using them forever.

Hayden was on time and very professional. Great communicator. Was really clear on what we needed and don’t need. Did a great job helping to clean up our existing system. Really appreciated his customer service orientation.

My call was answered immediately, and Terrence was at our home within a few hours to inspect a problematic heating unit. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain what he was seeing and how the system works. When discussing repairs, he presented several options without pressure to make a quick decision. Excellent service and a great experience overall.

Humberto did an amazing job at my home he was super respectful and extremely thorough he took his time to make sure everything was working properly before he left and explained everything and even had photos to show me everything he had done. He is such a great representative for his company!!! Next time I have a problem I'm going to directly ask for him!

I found out when I got home from work at 4 pm that the heater wasn't working. I did a few quick checks, then thought I should call a professional. I tried 2 other companies first, telling them I have No Heat in the house. Both said they MIGHT be able to get someone out middle of the day tomorrow.
I called Sunset Heating and they said let me call a tech and see how soon they could make it. 5 minutes later I get a call and was told about 40 minutes someone would be there.
35 minutes later Yasmin showed up.. she was on her way home and got redirected to come check the heater. The heater I had in the house was almost 20 years old and finally failed. Long story short Yasmine did not leave my house until almost 9:00 because of diagnosing the problem and other things that were wrong with the heater that made it unsafe to continue to use. Me having more than just barely understanding knowledge of the heater system she explained everything that was wrong with it and showed me what was wrong with it so I could see firsthand what exactly were the problems. She sourced the parts to fix my current heater but the availability was going to be a long-term thing. With my heater being over 20 years old one of the parts was extremely hard to source and was going to be about 3 weeks out. So I asked her to give me a price on a new heater. She gave me a couple options. I quickly discussed it with my wife and we chose the option that worked good for us. Which was also a really good option, my wife quickly looked up reviews on the heater that was being offered to us and we liked what we saw as far as the reviews for the heater.
Yasmin helped submit the financing request through the same company that financed my solar panels. It was quickly approved. She contacted one of the installation teams for the company, and they were able to come out and put the heater in, complete install with a new AC unit, the very next morning. By the time I got home from work that night they were doing the final cleanup of the garage and verifying function of everything and wiping everything down.
I am extremely happy with the caring, the compassion, helpfulness, and the absolute professionalism of everybody that I dealt with in this emergency situation of having no heat in the house when the outside temperature was in the high 30s low 40s.
I would absolutely recommend contacting Sunset heating and air conditioning for any needs that someone else would have. They handled everything extremely quick but professionally.

What an amazing company to work with. Very responsive. Daniel did a great job showing me the issues with our furnace in a way that I understood. I didn’t feel hustled or pushed to make make the decision to repair or replace our furnace. I received an estimate to repair and to replace. We decided to replace and it was completed in 48 hours. Great folks and truly a local business- which is important to us.

He was skilled when dealing with the matter at hand, and comprehensive in explaining the current situation as well as exploring our several options available for further services. Due to his exceptional professionalism, we are confident that we received the best possible care.

We would recommend Sunset Heating and Cooling to anyone seeking their services, and we look forward to working with Terrence again in the future.

When we heard a funny sound coming from our heat pump we called sunset heating and cooling (who installed the unit 3 years ago) at 5 am to request urgent service. Their answering service bot was easy to use and we were scheduled for a same day visit free of charge. Henry was kind and thorough and explained everything well with a follow up plan if needed. Luckily there actually wasn’t anything wrong, but I’m very grateful for their prompt and excellent service! We will definitely be calling them in the future if needed.

Humberto was wonderful. He installed a thermostat for us. He was very professional and explained things in perfect detail. He explained the cost and made sure we were ok with the price, before proceeding. He also answered my myriad of questions, which I really appreciated. We will definitely use Sunset Electric again and ask for Humberto.

I have used this company in the past and have been happy with the results. Bill Jones did a great job of notifying me when he would arrive and arrived on time. Once here, he was very professional and detail oriented. He was efficient at what he does and spent a reasonable amount of time ensuring everything was working as needed. He took pictures of everything and summarized the outcome with me. I signed up for their yearly service plan. Very satisfied.

Once again Yasmin was fantastic! After just buying a house the furnace that was installed gone out. Yasmin was able to coordinate the installation of a new one at an amazing price! She helped get us up and going with heat to our home and communicated the process the entire time. She is absolutely amazing and deserves 10 stars! I definitely recommend

Our service tech Humberto was fantastic. He did a really thorough inspection...it felt a bit like going to the dentist and being told I need to floss more. 😀. But I'm really happy to know what we need to do to get it all cleaned up. I alao learned a lot about how the system operates and appreciate the explanation of the components.

Take your money elsewhere.

I do not recommend Sunset Heating and Cooling.

Really nothing has gone smoothly with my experience with this company. I’ll list out below.

1.) Install took twice as long as scheduled (had incorrect parts and installed incorrect parts) and the installers banged up my walls and ceilings during the process.

2.) Billed me the incorrect amount

3.) System started working poorly after 1 year. Took months to correct, during which the technician told me that the unit that was installed was not powerful enough to heat my home.

4.) Went to file my taxes and asked Sunset for some paperwork. The paperwork they sent me was for a different/lesser amount than what I was billed and paid (again). I’ve inquired several times about it and they will not return my calls.

5.) During all this it seems most of their employees have been turned over leaving me to believe it’s not a great place to work.

I do not recommend.

And Sunset, don’t give me the standard customer service reply saying to call you to get things fixed. I have called, numerous times. You have my number, you can call me.

Awesome experience from the beginning to end. They were able to get out day of the issue, diagnose that our furnace was toast. We were able to get a new one installed the next day. I have no complaints.

Daniel from Sunset Heating and Cooling was absolutely wonderful to work with! He was professional, kind, and clearly knowledgeable about furnaces. He took the time to explain everything about getting our furnace replaced and the best option for us. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with genuine courtesy. I highly recommend requesting Daniel for your service needs!

We had our gas furnace serviced by Manuel Vela, he was wonderful. Helped us to fix our issue and hell come back next week to finish up when he has the parts are in. Manuel was so nice, looking forward to hanging him back as we are requesting his service.
I was telling him my Grandpa worked for Iron Fireman, decades before your name changed to Sunset.

Fantastic service as always! I've been using Sunset for years and they're always friendly, professional and efficient. When I was contacted about their super bowl celebration deal (go hawks) $12 for a tune-up was a no brainer. Their tech Henry came by this morning and was great. Quick clean work, gave me a breakdown on how everything was going. Would recommend to anyone looking for HVAC service

Erick came to my house and inspected a 17 years old sistem ( 2 furnaces ) and after he showed me everything he found we decided to replace one of the furnace very next day ! The furnace comes with 10 years warranty parts and labor and the qualification for a loan was a 10 minutes process ! Next day the crew arrived and few hours later I had a new furnace with a wireless termostat , they picked up the old one and cleaned everything after them ! Very professional , quiet and respectful workers ! Erick wasn’t pushing me to replace the furnace but his offer was good so I couldn’t refuse it !

Matthew was awesome. He thoroughly looked at our furnace and gave us an honest assessment. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. You can’t go wrong with Matthew.
