If I could give Black Cat Plumbing 100 stars I would. I work for a remodel company in Portland and we work closely with Black Cat. The whole team at Black Cat, Daren, Matt, Felipe, Dylan and Ian are all extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind and compassionate. They work clean and fast. Their prices are extremely competitive. Their customer service is unbeatable. Chrissy and Charlie are incredible in the office and work hard to make sure all their clients are well taken care of. I couldn't recommend any other company as strongly as I would recommend Black Cat for any and all of your plumbing needs.

Dylan was so knowledgeable, he knew just what to do. He called to see if he could come early and checked the working order of everything before he left. He also answered questions I had.

Ethan was great and he knew his stuff. He even cleaned up when he was done. Had his broom and spray cleaner at hand. He explained the problem and the fix. Very diligent and solved the issue. The swimming pool is gone from my basement now. Give this man a raise!

We recently moved to the Portland area and needed water lines replaced as well as some other projects done in our home. Our contractor said that he only works with Black Cat Plumbing. I understand why now. I was thoroughly happy with the work that Black Cat did and the manner in which they did it. They were professional, communicative and explained everything that was done. The Black Cat team of Matt, Ethan and Eddie did a fantastic job. Their rates were also very competitive in comparison with other companies.
If you are in need of plumbing services, I would highly recommend giving Black Cat a call.

Jaime did a great job. I have a super old ghetto rigged set up and any time something goes wrong it is not an easy fix He let me know what my options were and quickly figured out a way to address the issue without ripping everything up and costing me a ton of $$$.

Everyone at Black Cat was friendly, kind and professional. They promptly fit me into their schedule for an emergency water heater replacement and the job was completed quicker than expected.

Love these guys! Dylan came out for an emergency leak detection and was super personal and professional. I would recommend BCP any day.

Probably lucked out and got a next day appointment. The plumber, Jordan, came at the start of the arrival window, was ready to work right away. He replaced the faucets on a pedestal sink, worked carefully to avoid having to take it off the wall, and did the removal of the old and installation of the new in less then 2 hours. He did a good job cleaning up, and didn’t leave until we were satisfied by the work.

A few weeks ago I had Black Cat Plumbing over to fix my shower. They were fast, friendly, efficient, and saved me a ton of money. Jaime was professional and helped me understand how to work on some of the things in the future. I highly recommend.

I had a new water heater installed by Black Cat Plumbing recently. The installers were professionals & prompt. While many other outfits won't give out an estimate without a site visit, BCP gave me an estimate right away. That's a PLUS. There was a hiccup to finish the whole job by the crew but in the end, I have hot water again. Thanks BCP, I'd rec this company for your needs.

I had a leak with main water line, under my house. Called Black Cat, they came out that afternoon, and Dylan found where the water was leaking. He advised me that I had a very old water line, and recommend that I have it replaced. He called the office, and then told me that he be back the next day and get it fixed. They returned the next day got it replaced and was finished up by 3pm. Great job Black Cat Plumbing and Dylan. Thanks.

Black Cat plumbing company absolutely deserves recognition! From the moment I called, their customer service was friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive. They were able to schedule an appointment quickly and kept me updated every step of the way.
Our plumber, Jaime, was exceptional — truly a master of the craft. Not only did he arrive on time, but he came fully prepared, diagnosed the issue in minutes, and had it fixed faster than I could have imagined. He explained everything clearly, offered honest recommendations, and treated my home with care and respect. No mess left behind, just flawless work.

Black Cat is my go-to plumber for my 1890 Victorian home. Over the years, they have replaced hot water heaters, hose bibs, and waste lines. During their latest visit, they replaced 3 faucets, 3 pop up drains, and tightened a faucet. They do a great job. Staff is knowledgeable. They communicate well and are all-around nice folks.

A vertical sewer pipe in our cellar had become corroded over time and was leaking. Husband had several times effected a "there - I fixed it!" solution, involving repeated applications of plumber's epoxy, resulting in a sort of unsightly bulbous "growth" emerging from the join in the pipe, from which a foul brown liquid had begun to slowly suppurate. Ignoring husband's promises to do the work correctly "this time", I called Black Cat, as they had beautifully performed some work for us many years before. Within just two business days, Jordan arrived at our door, in good time and good humor (and smelling delightfully un-plumberly of soap and warm water). He went straight to work and skillfully remedied the pipe situation, including removing and resetting the toilet that empties into this conduit. The repair was done very competently, smoothly and seamlessly, and without any undue faffing about. The work completed, we were presented with a bill that was just about half of what another plumbing company had estimated the cost would be just the week before. Oh - and the two women I encountered working the phones at Black Cat were both charming and delightful. Hiring a plumbing service just can't get any better than this. Well done, Black Cat!

I had both a kitchen and bathroom faucet and drain replaced. I provided the faucets, but Black Cat needed to provide the drains and other plumbing. They were able to get the parts needed the same day. Work was done efficiently.

Jaime was terrific. He fixed three problems in the kitchen and bath amazingly quickly; he explained what he was doing (and, in one case, how long an old faucet might, even though now fixed, last). He was also interesting, friendly . . . and clearly knew what he was doing. If we have plumbing issues in the future, we’ll definitely call Black Cat Plumbing (and ask for Jaime). I can’t rate the price yet, because he said the bill would come by email, and it hasn’t arrived yet. From the estimate, it sounds like it will be very reasonable.

I highly recommend the expert team at Black Cat Plumbing. Philippe was very thorough and knowledgeable when he came out to give us the bid on our plumbing project. The team who executed the plan, led by Ethan, did a great job following the bid exactly as we wanted it. The whole team from start to finish maintained high quality and professionalism. Chrissy in the office was great getting us what we needed and connected to the right team members. Their prices are fair. I would highly recommend Black Cat for your plumbing services!
