Doug was professional, nice and on time. He explained what he was doing and why. The price was reasonable.

Guy came out to install a toilet, claimed that there were parts missing so he took everything off, charged my wife $237 and left. I came home and installed everything myself in less than 2 hours. What a waste of money. I guess he got the valve installed so that's a positive.

I called for service on a commercial property and the receptionist was completely rude. She didn't agree with our Payment terms and I totally understood, however; she went to say to never call back. If that's the type of service you are providing I'm glad we didn't do business.

This is the second time I've called 1st Call and they have been wonderful. They responded to my call immediately, and both times, they've gone out of the way to get to my issues in a super timely fashion. Plus, I find their customer service and work superior and they are very reasonable. I really appreciate businesses like this. Thank you 1st Call.

A job well done! 1st Call Plumbing re-piped our home and updated our water main -- boy was it needed badly! Doug, Lainie and the crew (Gabe, Nick, and Nick) were thorough and friendly, and even helped fix a couple of minor issues that were uncovered during the process.

Nick came out and replaced a leaky hose bib. The new one is working great! He did an excellent job for a fair price. I highly recommend 1st Call Plumbing.

1st call was the only plumber I could find who was available to come out the next day. They were prompt and easy to communicate with. It was $192 to fix a leaking faucet - I don't know if that's a competitive rate or not, but I was pleased with the prompt and friendly service.

This is a family owned business and the owners and team members are THE very best. They did a repiping job on our 50-year old two-story house with 2500 square feet, 2.5 baths, kitchen, laundry room and three external spigots. They also repiped us clear out to the curb and the city hook-up (this should always be done but it is optional) and they did it without tearing up our entire yard. Upon completing this hook-up, Doug added a water-to-the-house shut-off valve inside our house -- now no need any longer to go out to front curb to turn off water. Needless to say, we were terrified -- the thought of what all this would entail was a bit overwhelming. But Doug and Lainie (owners) came to our home twice to go over everything with us to make sure we understood how the process would take place before we decided to proceed. They said it would take only two days for the whole process. We thought, "Sure, uh-uhm!" But true to their word, the job was completed in two days.
So much to say: just the nicest people to work with, they always covered their shoes when in the house, covered flooring where they were walking and working, really know their business, responded quickly to any emails/questions. Their customer service is outstanding. A week after job was completed we discovered a small drip in the bathtub. We emailed them late morning, they called us mid-afternoon, and Doug was here by mid-morning the next day to fix it.
Lainie and Doug, Gabe and Nick, if you read this, thank you so much for a job so well done. We very much enjoyed working with you. Almost hoping we have another plumbing issue soon!

Update: On Thurs., Dec. 19, we discovered a drip in the master bathroom shower and contacted Lainie and Doug via email. Within 10 mins Lainie texted and asked if they could come by that very evening. They were really booked up until the New Year and this would be their best option. They wanted to be sure everything related to the repiping was correct.
They arrived that evening and fixed the problem. Problem wasn't related to repiping but a piece of rust (from our old rusty pipes) had lodge in the cartridge of the valve not allowing the shower shut-off to completely shut off. They replaced the cartridge and everything has been fine since. The cost of this exceptional service -- a big fat ZERO. 😃

Doug was able to squeeze me in to fix and unexpected faucet leak for the two washer faucets. He was very professional and friendly and did a wonderful job. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I needed a new install for a double bowl sink in my kitchen. It was super easy to schedule the work. Doug showed up on time, was friendly, and it was easy to tell that he had plenty of experience. Within the hour he had the faucet, 2 drains, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and 2 new shutoff valves installed. Very efficient. Very clean. Really good job

I had 1st Call come over and replace my old water heater with a new one. The entire experience was positive from the initial office call through job completion. Everyone was cordial and professional and the work was completed satisfactorily without any hiccups. They were clean, quiet, efficient, and friendly.
I will not hesitate to make 1st Call my first call the next time I need any plumbing services. A+

Had a great experience with Doug and Lainie today! I never thought I'd be saying that about a plumber but they are that good.
Had some issues with low hot water flow in my shower after my water heater had gotten replaced by seller's contractor, right before I bought my home.
I was told by that contractor that I'd need to replace the pipes to fix the issue after replacing the cartridge didn't help
I then had worked through my home warranty company to get a plumber to check it out and he said I'd need to replace the valve for $1650. This was after charging $375 as their minimum service fee, to blow air in the valve to try to unclog it, which didn't work. He also said I'll most likely need to replace some pipes.
Luckily I had come across everyone's great reviews for 1st Call! I contacted them and they were so responsive, and kept me updated with scheduling.
Then when they came out to give me an estimate for the valve or pipe replacement as recommended by the previous plumbers, Doug was just such an experienced plumber, he decided to try a couple other things first. He was able to clear the debris that was stuck in the valve, no need for replacing anything!! And this was him without even all his tools or work truck, as they were just doing estimates that day! He is like a Macgyver of plumbing and I was so impressed with how he was able to solve this so well when two other plumbers went straight to " you'll have to replace your pipes".
Lainie was so kind, and a great presence. I loved that they were going out together on the estimates, just gave me a warm hearted family vibe that is hard to beat.
All n all they only charged me their regular service call fee, so instead of costing me thousands!! Their wonderful service was only $220. They have a loyal customer from here on out. thanks so much you two!!

Due to a severe winter freeze, I had a pipe burst. Full on waterfall in my basement. Doug came out within a day and fixed the problem on a weekend! I called several plumbers who were days out even for an appointment or wanted to charge double for an emergency. The price was far less than I expected for a weekend appointment in an ice storm. 1st call came highly recommend and I am happy to recommend them to anyone!

Doug and his crew have helped us out in a pinch several times now. Really appreciate their awesome and quick service!!
