Our tenants called us to seek permission to deal with a leak in plumbing that was 66 years old. They contacted you and oversaw the work so we had no personal contact with the repairmen. Since it seems to be working, we can only assume that they did a good job. They were always respectful of costs and explained their findings. Thank you for your speedy and courteous service.

After a call to Mr. Rooter, John was at the house within the hour. He diagnosed the problem (garbage disposal gasket) within minutes and re-puttied all the connections. He was done in 20 minutes. No fuss, no bother. So very much appreciated the service on such short notice. No upsell at all. Just great customer service.

Nathan was very personal and professional. I was pleased that he came within an hour of me calling. Top notch service.

My wife discovered a leak issue at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, so I started calling plumbers who were already closed for the weekend or not able to send anyone out until Monday. Then I called Mr. Rooter, where I was actually able to talk to a real person instead of a useless AI assistant. She tried to find someone to come out that afternoon, but everyone was busy, so she scheduled a technician to come out first thing Saturday morning. Gabe arrived promptly at 8:30 the next morning, and quickly assessed what needed to be done, including going down into the crawl space to check out the plumbing from below. He decided the best way to resolve the issue was to cut a hole in the drywall, where he found the leak and solved the problem. At each step in his inspection and repair process he told me exactly what he was going to do and exactly how much it would cost, so there were no surprises when he gave me the invoice. Gabe was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, and I would recommend him and Mr. Rooter for anyone who needs a good plumber.

My gas water heater had been overheating so I called Mr. Rooter. Even though it was Thanksgiving weekend, they sent someone right out. Taylor was at my house in less than an hour after I made the call. He discovered a hot water leak under the house in the crawlspace. After providing me with an estimate, he proceeded to fix the problem by replacing the old copper pipes. All work was completed quickly and efficiently. I won't hesitate to call again if needed.

The technician (Colby Retherford) was extremely helpful. We have a 50 year old house that we inherited. He investigated and found multiple breaks in the line. Instead of staying and charging more he was very honest and transparent about our short term and long term options. He promptly got us set up to start the process to replace our drainage system. Very appreciative for his help and service. Highly recommend.

They were able to come in a timely manner. I asked for replacing the bathtub faucet and was expecting at most $800. The price was double that +. I should have said no however I am not savvy about things like that. I am upset with myself for having paid this amount of money.
The young man who did the work did a good job and was courteous.
Replacing the faucet didn’t fix my main problem, which is even more aggravating to me. However I did get a new tub faucet.

I reached out on Saturday and got a quick response from Jessica saying they could come that day but my weekend was already busy. Jessica let me know that that was not a problem, they could send someone out Monday morning. She was not sure what time but possibly between 10 and 11 AM but they would call me before arriving.

I missed the call from Nicole while I was in the shower, but she followed up with a text message to let me know that Jonathan would be there within about 35 minutes. I love this attention to customer service.

Jonathan showed up as scheduled and took a look at my water heater and assessed what my issue was which was low water pressure at the kitchen faucet and he informed me that I did not need a new water heater, which was a big relief.

Jonathan is the one that helped me with my hose bib and just as last time he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He identified the issue as likely some buildup in the line at the kitchen faucet.

He was able to back-flush the line and found a small chunk of rust from my lovely steel pipes. It had gotten stuck and caused sediment buildup.

Water pressure restored, no water heater replacement needed (phew) and I am back in business!

I love their cost structure because it's not by the hour.
It's by the job and what they do, etc. and I find that to be extremely reasonable. Their combined affordability, personable employees and exceptional customer service, is why I keep coming back to them.

Arrived on time with advance notice. Polite, friendly and professional. Timely installation with no problems or extra charges. Cleaned up and removed all trash. Excellent job, highly recommended for any emergency repairs or plumbing upgrades.

Yesterday evening was very frustrating for me after my laundry room sink overflowed from my washing machine water. This occurred a little over a month after Mr. rooter was out here repairing a major plug in my house drain. I found out I was outside of my warranty. Within about an hour, Mr. rooter sent Charles and Nathan to my home. I was informed that this was a separate plug in the smaller drain and is different than the other work that was done. they could tell that I was worried about the cost of a new problem and decided to fix it as a courtesy call. I was so relieved. they took care of my problem and didn’t try to pressure me into any other services or costs. because of my experience today, I will stay with Mr. Rooter doing my plumbing needs in the future. And I can’t say how lucky I was to have Charles and Nathan. They were professional., But yet very caring and wanted to help me with my problem I will be forever grateful to them

The guys who were working on our sewer were extremely knowledgable when I was there talking with them. At one point a problem arose with our shed being in the way, we discussed options and they found a solution that saved the shed! We couldn't be happier with the quality of work they did for us. And they also interacted with our cat...awesome guys.

We had placed a service call to Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Salem, and John C. and Taylor K. came over on the same day to give us an estimate on what we wanted done. They came back Monday, to do the job. They installed two new bathroom sinks for us along with three new faucets. They removed all the old stuff. Our new sinks have a rectangular shape vs the old ones removed had an oval shape. The new ones are also larger! So, they had to cut some more into our wooden counter tops to get the correct shape to match to the new sinks. They made sure all the plumbing was in working order and made adjustments where needed. It all looks and works great now! John and Taylor arrived on time and communicated well about the things they were having to do here.The office did well in scheduling us in rather quickly and giving us a heads-up on when John and and Taylor would arrive! We are very happy with the Service we received here and will call Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Salem again, if needed!

I have been without water in my kitchen for 5 days due to a broken garbage disposal. I am disabled so I couldn't "just wash your dishes in the bathtub". Someone tried to help by installing the wrong machine in the wrong way so it also broke so I couldn't get my money back.
Then I noticed the Mr. Rooter magnet on my fridge and remembered that they had helped me years ago and thought I'd try it.
THEY HAD SOMEONE TO MY HOUSE WITHIN HALF AN HOUR!!!!
The whole thing from my call to the service technician leaving took no more than an hour and a half!
1 1/2 hours vs 5 days! Insane! And I am SO grateful! And they even give military discounts! These people are fabulous and I'd never even consider using anybody else!

Ease of scheduling and they were able to get to us quickly. The crew arrived on time and the installation was quick. We still have a leak from a pipe going into the house and waiting to hear back from them.

Brett Brammer came out and handled our plumbing issue. Very quickly. He arrived within 15 minutes and was super friendly. He explained everything clearly and made sure we knew what each option would cost up front. We will definitely call him again for any future issues.

Needed a hot water heater replaced and Gabe came out on a Saturday and did an amazing job! He explained everything well, did excellent work, and made sure we were well taken care of - we even got a good deal on the service! I'll be calling back and asking for Gabe again for all future plumbing needs.

Dillon was very courteous and professional and did a great job explaining my options for fixing my toilet. He did the job quickly and I am very happy with results.
