Best hardware store in the Valley,or maybe Anywhere. The staff are Friendly and highly competent, and they have a huge selection of parts. Family owned for over 100 years.

The best advice in Salem:
Ron's superb plumbing advice and help saved me digging a new well.
Victor is expert in electrical matters.
My advice: go to Saffrons, become a customer.
It is not the cheapest store but the service is phenomenal. -
Great supply store! Recently the store (est. 1910) has moved to a really cool building built in the 1920's. Wonderful staff and the owner Adam is a gem!

Far better than I could even imagine! It's like having McMaster Carr at your fingertips and prices are way low! Fantastic personal service too. It's pretty clear why they have been around for more than 80 years.

Awesome service - Brent and his team diagnosed a hole in the pipe from submersible pump in my well at 2:00pm - had new pipe, new wire and all fittings in stock on service truck- water pumping by 5:00pm

Victor took care of getting me everything I needed for a custom short notice project! He is fearless regarding one-off and fabrication. Hope to be among many of their returning patrons for the next hundred years! 😉

As always the service and merchandise was impeccable. Priced right and they are
always willing to go out of their way to explain things in detail. I have been a customer for over twenty years. They have
never failed me. -
Customer service was great and they carried a wide selection of uncommon plumbing fittings big box stores like Home Depot and Lowes didn't have. Even better was the prices. Wish I knew about them sooner.

Great place!!! Someone checked in with me within minutes. They figured out what I needed, quickly got the part, and I didn't pay an arm and a leg. I am saying goodbye to the big box store and hello to Saffron.

AWESOME!!! This place has been in business for over 100 years. It is worth the trip just to see the stuff they have. There are 3 floors with things that date back to when they opened. The staff is outstanding and is still owned by the same family. If they don't have it in stock they will get it for you. I am the fourth generation of my family to shop there.

Saffron's is the best place to go for rinky dink plumbing parts and supplies. And for bigger things, too. Very competitive prices, too, if not less. Too bad Mr. Saffron is no longer around, but age catches up with everyone, I guess. I always liked seeing him. He seemed to be a calming influence when I was usually stressing about getting a plumbing job finished. Haha. I liked their older location downtown better-it also had a very handy and cold drinking fountain in back. But I guess there's more parking at the new location. I also like buying parts without all the fancy packaging the big box stores often foist upon you.

I've learned through experience that this should be the first place to go for the right plumbing supplies. Home Depot pretends to have the fix; Lowe's will come closer to what you need, but not quite. Saffron will save you multiple trips and you'll get exactly what's necessary.

Excellent alternative for homeowner purchases of plumbing supplies and tools, too! Good prices and timely service!

It's been 35 years since I've had service like I had the other day at Saffron Supply. I was about to call the plumber, but decided to try to fix my washing machine hookups myself. I took in the leaky parts and they picked the washers I needed, removed the broken screws, and repacked the parts. I'm sure they don't always have the time, but it was amazing. About 70 cents worth of parts (and a little something for their time) later, and I'm doing laundry. Thank you So much.

Got what I needed to fix my well, along with excellent advice and service from Ron. I was so pleased that I called to give my regards about my good experience to the manager. Unfortunately, the man who answered the phone this afternoon would not allow me to speak to the manager and hung up on me mid-sentence. That's ok - I still appreciate Ron!

Went to two different Ferguson waterworks stores in Salem didn't have the part went to saffron. They had it should've went there first they have everything when it comes to plumbing.

Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience!!

These guys are informative, and reliable! I have used them for real estate related deals so it’s super important to have someone show up on time and get information back to clients quickly and they go above and beyond! Thank you for that!

I purchased a water heater from this store roughly 3 yrs ago. I called with some troubleshooting questions regarding the pilot light going out. Little to no effort to help troubleshoot the product they sell. Simply "call a service in to inspect".
I can get this level of support at Home Depot.... -
Initial work was to troubleshoot electrical problem (bad circuit breaker) then add Big Blue filter to system and booster pump for more pressure. Unfortunately the 400 ft deep pump gave out (21 years old). Not easy pulling the pump because of messed up 4” casing (bent or something) and then unable to drop the new pump. Had to change to a 3” pump which they drove to Tacoma for. The hours they spent were lengthy to say the least but the end result was fantastic and the bill was beyond fair. Won’t use anyone else. Thanks Angel, Carter and ????
