Robin was really great at figuring out what was going on with my whole A/C and furnace system. She fixed it quickly and gave me some great advice. Very professional and pleasant to work with.

Tech Brian did a thorough inspection and found out some issues that was missed on previous inspections. Only negative is that the quote from the company for replacement was higher that my expectation.

Replaced my AC and furnace and also got all our ducts cleaned. Getting a quote was quick and service was quick and seamless. Got everything installed, working and cleaned within a few days time! Everyone was very professional! Great work and very happy with the results!

Our furnace finally gave out so we called Columbia NW heating & Air to install a HVAC unit. I had Jake & Robin install a new HVAC unit. This duo was timely, professional, and very helpful in understanding how the unit works & pointers on how to maintain the units to keep it running smoothly, efficiently, & easy upkeep to have it running for a long time. They were clean during the job & tidied up after themselves once the job was completed. I am confident in the installation & happy to report on how quiet the furnace is & how warm the house is. Also looking forward to the summer & having AC to cool the house down. Thank you to all that participated in this home project.

I have worked with Columbia NW for years at 2 different properties. They are always professional and responsive. I use them for maintenance, gas fireplace repairs and I also had a furnace/ac unit that was fully replaced. They are prompt, they stand by their work and are reasonably priced. Over the last few years I have mainly worked with tech Josh for maintenance and repairs. Josh is extremely polite, knowledgeable and is hands down one of the best contractors that I have ever worked with. I highly recommend this company for all your heating/cooling needs. Brian did an excellent job of tuning our system and thoroughly inspecting all potential issues related to hearing. I would definitely call them again in the summer for cooling system maintenance.

As a General Contractor we are always looking for good companies to work with. I had these guys out at my personal house and had them redo some wiring because our AC wasn’t working. Josh T. was very knowledgeable and super professional. Prices are more than fair!

Brian did an excellent job fixing my AC by quickly identifying and replacing a faulty part. He was professional, efficient, and made sure everything was working properly before he left. I truly appreciate his service.

That said, I am very disappointed with Carrier as a company. The AC was only 3–4 years old, and I was shocked it failed so soon. On top of that, I had to pay $2,000 out of pocket for labor (even though the part was under warranty) because Carrier only covers labor for the first year after installation. This experience was frustrating, especially having to deal with the breakdown in scorching heat. Carrier really needs to improve their product testing and stand behind their customers better.

Thanks again to Brian for the great work — but I would not recommend Carrier as a brand.

Brian F did a great job doing our annual furnace maintenance. He was kind, patient with our dogs, and explained his work. We’ve been using Columbia NW for at least 7 or 8 years for maintenance and a furnace/hot water heater replacement. Great service especially for the price and no issues.

I used Columbia NW to add a ductless heat pump and gas tankless water heater to my home. Overall, my experience was amazing - the company was communicative, timely, and professional. The service providers I worked with (Dan, Jake, Mark, and Jimmy) were thorough, courteous, and clean. They went above and beyond, even when my old funky house gave them hassle with the way it's framed.

Dan took the time to walk me through the available options and advise me on what would be appropriate for my home based on its size (800 sq ft), and he helped me get all possible rebates and a 0% interest payment option. Columbia NW works with both NW Natural and PGE, which meant I could use them to get rebates on both products.

Jake took the time to thoroughly explain what to do in emergencies and how to use and maintain the units. In taking out the old water heater, he also ensured I was still left with hot and cold water hookups so that I'd be able to install a washer and dryer since I'd told him that was my next step - he even brought the parts that a plumber would use to add recessed plumbing.

Really, I can't say enough! They're great! And I am so happy with my purchases - the tankless water heater works like a dream, and the single mini-split is incredibly effective for my little home.

I highly recommend Columbia NW Heating & Air Conditioning for installation of a new Carrier Infinity 98 (59MN7) modulating gas and energy efficient furnace and an Infinity thermostat. KC who installed the furnace with one additional staff member on one day out of two was extremely knowledgeable, excellent in his work, professional, clean in his work, respectful to the home and cats, was friendly and easy to talk with, and explained everything to a customer and consumer. His work was difficult as my furnace needed to be installed in an older home in a finished but small crawl space. KC communicated with me and was clear in his explanations with me. Dave, who provided the proposal for the job and has expert knowledge, assessed the needs of my home, provided information to me, and was easy to communicate with before and during the installation process. Dave was extremely responsive and was very helpful during the entire process.

Charles just completed the install of a new upstairs AC Unit which was required after our unit of 22 years failed. He did a very professional job and communicated the whole way on what he was doing and why and outlined the progress he was making. He finished on time, cleaned up and the unit is working perfectly. Great work!
