Rob, Dave and Josh were PHENOMENAL and took care of our A/C right away. They replaced a noisy and aging split-ductless system for us and right-sized it for our home. Now we have clean, quiet cooling and heat at a great price with parts included for years to come. Could not be happier with the level of professionalism, quality, and service from Energy-Star Services. I will recommend them highly to everyone looking for HVAC needs. I have used this company twice and their service and professionalism has been nothing short of excellent. Energy Star Services have been responsive and have a very knowledgeable team. Rob, Josh and Brandon were excellent. These guys came in and did a great job installing the high velocity system along with a heat pump. The system so far has been operating smoothly. I do apologize for submitting my comments so late but last year was a year to forget (due to COVID and other aspects). Regardless, I recommend energystar without reservation and the price I got for the service was competitive and fair. I believe Rob even showed me how to bleed all my house radiators to make the heating of our home more effective. Thanks again.

I recently needed to have a new steam boiler installed. I used the Thumbtack website and was given a list of companies to get estimates from. I had 4 representatives come to give quotes.

I was most impressed with Energy-Star Services approach to pricing. No nonsense: two models offered for my heating needs. The quote was very reasonable with great financing, and the HVAC manager, Josh, explained all of the technicalities in very understandable terms. He immediately inspired confidence in me.

When my old boiler had started to fail, it was already beginning to get cold outside. Josh understood the urgency of scheduling and was able to put my job on his schedule for the exact day that I wanted, a few days after our meeting.

He gave me a very reasonable quote for a third-party to take out my old large furnace which I wanted to get rid of.

On the day of the installation, four men with three trucks arrived and set to work. They basically completed the job in two days and did beautiful work. The installers,Rob and Josh, were very hard workers and good problem solvers.

Getting the new boiler into my old basement was a huge task. It actually involved having to take the new boiler partially apart. There was absolutely no complaining or balking about this
setback.

Whenever I was concerned, I would call Manager Josh and he would always put me at my ease and explain what was going on. He was extraordinarily responsive, always answering the call immediately. Where can one find customer service like that these days?

After all was said and done the men cleaned up the basement up beautifully! I would recommend Energy-Star services to anyone. You will be in good hands. What a great company!!l

I shopped around--at least 3 other service providers. All were very good but Energy-Star had the best to offer for my needs--both product and financing. Install went very smooth and professional with Rob, Josh and Dave. Had the had the new furnace installed four months ago and it works great! No fearing winter cold! Thank you

Very happy with the overall performance of the Technicians (Rob, Josh & Dave) are very able professionals and work very well as a team. I was very Impressed with the quality of their work as well as the personal values of each of these individual. They have showed much respect, great mannerism and great work ethics. They have installed (5) Fujitsu air conditioning with heat pumps mini split system with a 45k BTU outside unit. My heater and air conditioning system in my PA home was completely shot. I called Energy-Star Services and a technician came out the same day and I was given a quote later that day. I jumped on it and they came in and installed a new heat and ac system the next day! I thought they were reasonably priced. I would recommend.

Fantastic, well-mannered and professional company. Josh and his team did a thorough analysis of my AC troubles and presented all possibilities and rough costs for each repair. I opted for a completed replacement, was quoted a competitive price and the work done was top-notch. Communication was great - I was called at least 30 minutes before each technician arrived and any questions I had (both in person and over the phone) were answered swiftly. Would 100% recommend to anyone in their service area.

Save yourself the headache and money. Do not use this company. I hired them 2 years ago to install a whole house generator. He told me it would be ready in a few weeks. It took them over a year to install it and then they never completed the job. It has no permits and has not been approved by the township. I can’t get Josh the owner/manager to respond or finish the job. He promised 100% satisfaction guarantee but that only until he gets his money. Wish I could leave negative stars.

Josh owes Daves Auto and Truck Service $1273.56 for repairs to his vehicle. The check bounced and he has yet to repay. We have spoken to him and his office several times to rectify and he claims he will call back but never does . He hasn't paid as of today. Josh, happy to take this down once you Venmo us what you owe us! As agreed this morning when I spoke to you at 755am that you would Venmo in a hour. It’s now 12:11PM. My heating system was not operating properly and a friend recommended Energy Star Services. They were very responsive and was able to come out the same day to diagnose the issue. The service representative was Russ and he was friendly and knowledgeable.The part I needed was found in New Jersey and they were able to install it the next morning. I am very grateful for their fast and reliable service.

I had a whole house back up generator installed a few years ago. The actual cost turned out to be about $7500 over the estimate - $20k total. However my problem is that I cannot get the company to perform the annual service as indicated in the contract. Two years and no maintenance. Calling just yields excuses. Not time of year, we schedule in off season, we will be calling you soon, blah blah. I am searching for a licensed company who services these if anyone has a contact.

5 stars for road rage. Extremely aggressive driver in the company van. He was tailgating me on Route 611 North in Doylestown Area and I signaled to move over. He decided to move to the right lane behind me then very quickly speeds up around me to cut me off. He slowed down and then didn't get off the exit. I signaled and moved to the left lane and he cut me off again. He tried to do it again when I signaled to the right lane, but he saw the state trooper. Thank goodness the trooper was there because he was an aggressive driver and I did nothing wrong. Fyi, his truck is dented in the front which I discovered while sitting at a light not to far after getting off the expressway. I have no idea how good their workmanship is and will never recommend them because of his road rage. License plate LZZ * _842.

Steer clear of this company. They refused to repair a leak they’ve known about since their poor installation of a mini-split system 3 years ago. During one of more than 14 service visits when the system failed as a result of the leak, they made such a bad mistake that they broke the entire system, voided the manufacturer’s warranty, and were repeatedly dishonest with us about it (as verified by the manufacturer). Our system has been completely dead for nearly 6 months because of their mistakes and the manager, Josh, only returns my calls when I send him certified mail. When I do get them on the line, all they give us is another excuse. I continue to be shocked that anyone would treat people like this, let alone a paid customer when they clearly screwed up.

I was disappointed with the service provided. The technicians came out and diagnosed what they believed to be the issue, but quickly concluded that the entire system needed to be replaced. It appeared they were far more focused on selling a system replacement than properly troubleshooting the problem.
After being charged $1,900, the system was still not working, and that was presented as the only solution. I sought a second opinion, and it was determined that the actual issue was simply a blocked exhaust. After paying $250 to have the exhaust cleared, the problem was fully resolved.
As a result, I effectively wasted nearly $2,000 on an unnecessary recommendation and repair. thanks energy-star !

We recently had a ductless mini-split installation completed in Montgomery County, PA, and the experience was excellent. The price was great, the service was outstanding, and the installation was fast and efficient.

The office staff and technicians were all friendly, professional, and easy to work with. The install was done cleanly and correctly, and the room now stays at the perfect temperature exactly to my liking.

If you’re looking for a reliable company for ductless mini-split installation or HVAC services in Montgomery County, PA, I highly recommend them.

I did a lot of research and got 4 quotes from other reputable companies prior to having Dilling install my new furnace and A/C system. John came out to look at my old system, make recommendations on a new one, and gave me a very fair quote to replace everything...and with absolutely ZERO high pressure sales tactics. (Something I appreciate).
I booked the install Tuesday at noon and by 3:30pm the next day the old system was removed and the new one completely installed and running. Their techs were very polite and by the time they left there was no evidence they were even there.. very clean and thorough. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with the whole process. Great! Simple as that! They just completed installation today. Not sure if I love, or hate the system yet; but I can say they are professional, and appear to know what they are doing. The work looks clean. Customer service thus far has been the best experience since moving into our new home, vs other contractors we’ve dealt with in the past few months. Definitely would hire them again. Wonderful staff across the board!

My partner and I own a laundromat and called dilling couple months ago to help us with boiler issues. We used another company at first and they were terrible(JC air in yardley) didn’t even help us or figure out the problem . Wanted to charge us every time we needed help. With dilling, The customer service has been excellent. Always respond and go extra mile to help us in a pinch. Recently I used dilling for home as we decided to get new HVAC unit installed. Polite techs and good follow up. John L and Mike Rossi have been awesome to deal with and so far we have been overly impressed. I will recommend this company to anyone I know looking for hvac/heat assistance
