There was an installation delay that was out of their control (supply shortage), but the owner of the company kept me in the loop every step of the way. I can truly appreciate that kind of transparency as it builds trust from the customers.

Their team is very knowledgeable! They were able to answer every question I had about the process. I felt empowered by their willingness to share their knowledge while educating the customer.

Just got service today because my boiler locked out and was no longer working. Having some experience with boilers, I told the technician (Bill), what I saw. He did a great job of listening. Then took things apart, cleaned them, and replaced parts (igniters) that needed it. It's to note, he didn't replace unnecessary parts. We attempted to fire the boiler up and still no operation. He did a deeper inspection and found the motor overload button popped out. After testing it was confirmed the motor needed replacement. He was able to immediately replace the motor. Now my boiler is running better than ever. Everyone in the process (Lisa making the appointment & Bill providing in home service) was very polite and responsive during a time with very cold outside temperatures and a family (my two kids and I) that was without heat or hot water. This company shows they care about their customers with their service and great attitude. I recommend them if they are within your service area for maintenance and oil sales. Thank you!!!

We contacted Halligan & Sons about purchasing a new wall air conditioner unit. We signed our contract accepting their proposal on Friday, woke up Tuesday morning to find that our 20 year old window unit had passed away overnight. Called their office Tuesday afternoon, received a call back Wednesday about 8:30 am saying our guys will be there in about half an hour. Our new split was installed by 3 pm! Now that’s quality customer service!

The service and responsiveness is incredible. Halligan put me on a monthly budget plan which saved me a fortune when oil prices spiked in 2022 and 2023. Thanks Biden! Also very diligent about reminding me of service requirements. Great to work with. Top shelf!

When I had a heat pump installed , and the installer couldn't or wouldn't program the thermostat for me, I called around to find some one to help. When I contacted Halligan & sons they tried to help me over the phone, but when they realized it would need more hands on involvement they sent one of their team out to help. He was able too program my thermostat and after he left, he sent the instructions that I would need to my email.
Halligan & Sons is now my new cooling and heating company. They have a team of knowledgeable folks and they work quickly and get the job done.
I am so fortunate that I have found the solution to all my heating and cooling problems!

If they were perfect I would never eun dry. Evidently noone is perfect. The service department is far better than my lrevous vendor. They are WAY better than Meenan.

Great service. Never have to wait long for a service appointment . Service technicians are friendly and thorough with their work. I have oil heat so the monthly budget plan is great especially when prices surge. I am also signed up for automatic oil delivery service. I am added to the delivery schedule without having to make a call. They do a great job factoring my usage and the season’s temperatures. Have not run out of heating oil once in the four years I have been using them

We have been customers of J. Halligan & Sons for over 30 years. They have installed 2 AC systems (in different houses) and 2 boilers. They deliver our oil as well. We are extremely happy with the level of service we receive. The technicians are polite, knowledgeable and prompt. We have been rescued in emergency situations more than once! Whether it's a blizzard and the heater isn't working or the air isn't cool enough in the summer, the Halligan team always has our backs. We've recommended them to many friends and neighbors and stand by that rec still today.

J. Halligan & Sons has done an excellent job of maintaining our 21 year old oil fired summer/winter hook-up, oïl deliveries and timing for same (never ran us out of oil.

Mark Haligan from Haligan and sons just gave me a quote for a repair to my smock stack that is attached to the furnace in our basement. The quote was far more competitive then the other carrier we had come out. More importantly he took the time to check the AC unit in its entirety. Which the competitor did not do, he found that we need our blower assembly replaced. So the other company quoted us quite a lot more than Haligan and it still wouldnt have fixed the issue. Highly recommend Mark and the rest of Haligan and sons!!!!

The Halligan team is the best. We used them for oil delivery (always reliable), then eventually had them remove the oil tank, install a gas boiler, and add ductless mini-splits throughout the house. Their pricing has been excellent and their techs/office staff are courteous and professional. Mark has taken the time to scope and evaluate each large project himself. Derek is a pro installer and we appreciate the care and diligence he always puts in on our behalf. Highly recommended for HVAC needs on the Main Line.
