We had a combo forced air system and mini-splits. The installers were very professional and did a wonderful job. We have only used the heat so far - looking forward to the AC in the summer

I recommend this company. They were able to get us scheduled very quickly. Shaun came out and was incredibly professional and helpful. Was able to completely solve our problem (a problem another heating company had been unable to fix) and the pricing was very reasonable. I will be using this company in the future.

Very disappointed in my experience with Marvin E. Kanze HVAC. I had high hopes based on positive reviews and local recommendations. I've dealt with terrible communication, conflicting/confusing information from the technician vs. office and I've now wasted a month and still have an HVAC issue.

This is absolutely not how the events unfolded. I did initially call the company on 8/20 to schedule an appointment due to an issue with condensation seeming to leak from a vent (which I never indicated was any fault of the company, I simply needed HVAC assistance). I did have an easy experience scheduling the initial consult. They called on 8/21 to confirm the appointment (I missed the call and called back shortly after to confirm.) Justin came to my house on 8/22, looked at the vent, and told me and my husband that there were 2 options for approaching the issue and that one would require cutting access and one would not. He told us that in terms of next steps, the office would reach out to us with proposals for our review in the coming days that we could review prior to deciding if we would cut up our walls or not. He did NOT say that anything would need to be cut prior to supplying a proposal OR that something needed to be scheduled to come back for a secondary assessment. I did not hear anything from the office for over a week. I called on 8/30 to check on the status. The office manager mentioned needing to cut the wall. I did not refuse to allow them to schedule. I expressed confusion since Justin told us something else and I asked for some more information. She said she would check with Justin to get clarification, but that it was his day off. I got a call back 4 business days later on 9/5 but was not given additional information - it was another attempt to schedule cutting with no explanation from Justin about the second option. I had to remind her that we were supposed to be getting to the bottom of that confusion and was told again that Justin would be asked to give more information and they would get back to me. I heard nothing and called back almost 2 weeks later on 9/18 and was told I should receive a call later that day. At that point I told the office manager not to bother, as I've now had to make 3 attempts myself to get in touch with the company and each time I was made to feel like an afterthought that was just remembered once I brought it back up myself. I did not hang up on the office manager - she said goodbye after I expressed my disappointment in the experience.

I feel what speaks volumes for who you really are is the fact that in "investigating the situation," you are now attempting to discredit a customer's experience by dishonestly relaying the situation and implying that I am not telling the truth. I did receive a phone call today (9/20) to "get to the bottom of the 1-star review" but was never once apologized to for my negative experience. I never received any admittance that there may have been a miscommunication/misinformation on any part of the technician, and it was never acknowledged that the issue dragged on this long with such little communication. I stand by my 1-star review and have screenshots of my electronic call log, as well, that I'm happy to provide if there's any question as to the veracity of my claim.

Excellent experience!! Marvin Kanze Installed a central air system and a mini split for my house. They also installed some new ductworks and did a ductwork cleaning after my project finished. Joff is accommodating and thoughtful. He listened and treated us like friends. He helped us not only on our AC needs but also on our other projects. His team was professional, kind and courteous. I highly recommended them and will definitely use them again!

We highly recommend Marvin E. Kanze for anyone who needs HVAC work done. Our first interaction with the company was when they removed our oil tank and replaced it with a gas system. Joff was our project manager, and we cannot say enough good things about him! He was so thorough, smart and did everything in his power to make sure our new system was customized to fit our needs. He wanted the best for us, but we never felt as if he was pushing his products. Joff is always quick to respond to our questions or requests and the technicians were able to fix each of our problems with ease. When time came for the instillation, Dave, Marty and Josh were excellent. They were efficient, hardworking and did an excellent job. They also left our house spotless when they finished.

We have used the company several times since installing our new system; we had to get a new water heater and have a thermostat replaced. Bob and Josh were diligent and went that extra mile for us. We look forward to continue working with Marvin E. Kanze in the future.

I called Marvin e Kanze Inc to have a WiFi thermostat installed. Kudos to them because they sent Sean to do the job. Sean was an excellent face for the company because he was knowledgeable, capable, friendly, helpful, and most of all, patient. We were most impressed by him and wouldn’t think to use anybody else in the future.

Marvin Kanze has taken great amazing care of HVAC equipment (and therefore our family) for years. They are always responsive to every call - emergency or not.

When it’s time for replacements - Marvin Kanze has given competitive bids and not tried to “up sell”. Their technicians are top notch- as well as friendly and well mannered. They are a trustworthy and honest.

I called Marvin Kanze to get a quote to replace my hear pump and air handler. After meeting their sales representative, Joff, I knew immediately I was going to hire them. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He followed through on all of his promises and the experience was absolutely seamless throughout. Dave and Marty did a great job installing my new equipment and took the time to explain everything and to troubleshoot when my new thermostat wasn’t connecting and they cleaned up everything. The team at Marvin E Kanz did an exceptional job with both the selection and the installation of our new Trane heating system. Kanze rep Joff was in constant communication with us from start to finish. The installers were very knowledgeable, polite, and on time. They made sure that we understood all of the features and answered all of our questions. Pricing was very fair. We were so grateful that Joff was able to schedule our project so quickly. We had been without heat during one of the coldest periods in Dec 2022. Joff had the heater installed right away so that we would have heat for Christmas! We are very happy with our decision to use Marvin E Kanz and would not hesitate to use them again!

Joff and his team were great from the planning stage to completion. The pricing was reasonable and they impressed me with their knowledge and craftsmanship. You wouldn't be able to tell that my central air ducts were added 70 years after my home was built. I would highly recommend them!

Couldn’t be happier with the communication and service from Jonathan, Brendan, and Mike in replacing our very old HVAC system to a high efficiency system. Brendan went out of his way after hours to temporarily replace a part to ensure our family was comfortable during the heat over the weekend and Jonathan walked us through financing options, availability and was able to get our new equipment ordered for the next business day. Brendan and Mike worked tirelessly to get us and our four young kids cool! It was great supporting a business that still holds honesty and ethical practices throughout all parts of their daily work! Our 18 year old air conditioner decided to call it quits just when we had a string of 90°+ days. Family and friends have worked with Marvin E. Kanze on their HVAC replacements and have recommended that we call Joff. Joff had a technician inspect our condenser within 24 hours. The technician is very knowledgeable and provided helpful explanations of the issues and potential fixes. Joff came to our home within 24 hours, walked us through the issues and options. He was a former teacher and was very detailed in his explanation. Within 24 hours, we received a quote and had the new system installed within 3 days. The installation team are professionals and were efficient in the installation. They cleaned up the work area quickly. We knew they were great because we got our AC installed with Marvin E Kanze 10+ years ago and were using them for regular maintenance (heater and AC). Yet, I was so happy how smoothly our new boiler installation went last week. They did such a great job- from the excellent communication during the estimate, and walking through the choices for a new boiler to the actual installation-professional, courteous, attention-to-deal, and very thorough. We are super happy!! If only everyone were this good for home repairs/improvements :)

Installed a new furnace and air conditioner in my house. They were very easy to deal with - Joff, Jon and the installation crew. Their pricing was fair and reasonable and they did not oversell me. Explained everything in detail and gave me options and appropriate recommendations. They were flexible as to project start date. The installation team was extremely efficient and left no mess.

We used Marvin Kanze to replace an old central AC system that had broken down. We have been homeowners for 25 years , done 2 major additions and have worked with many many contractors including several heating and cooling companies over the years.I have to say that our experience with this company from start to finish has been by far the best yet. Joff (the salesman )was so responsive and meticulous… a true pleasure to work with. Our technician team consisted of Brendan, frank and Martin and they were all amazing…. so respectful, hardworking and knowledgeable. I have never actually taken the time to review any company but this team really stood out and I highly recommend them if you want professionalism and quality work.

Called Marvin E. Kanze Because my A/c was not cooling, the office staff was very easy to talk to and schedule with. The tech came out the same day (I spoke to 2 other companies and they told me there was 1 week wait time). They were able to fix the issue while here. Overall a lovely experience.

We switched to Kanze to service our HVAC after being quoted high prices for what turned out to be unnecessary maintenance by the company we had used for 13 years. The techs have ben polite and courteous - cleaning up after themselves etc. Whenever I call with a question it's easy to schedule and the staff are friendly. I so appreciate that I can trust them.

Truly the best HVAC company around! Our water heater broke late on a Sat night and Jon's emergency service team walked us through how to drain the unit, as to cause minimal water damage to our home, and then straight away that Monday another unit was ordered and installed. Additionally, Marvin E Kanze has serviced our home in Berwyn for over 10years. They are a very knowledgeable, capable, reliable, friendly team with exceptional quality HVAC products. Highly recommend this small business!
