Found JDC after searching for a contractor to come look at our AC unit, picked them because of the great reviews. Great decision, amazing service 11/10. Josh kept it real, resolved our issue, gave us some additional tips. Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Honest, friendly, and timely service from Josh at JDC!

I’ve owned my house for 18 years and inherited a really complicated and problematic furnace and AC setup in my old house. I’ve had numerous HVAC companies refuse to provide a quote for service because they said they just wouldn’t work on it.

When the AC wouldn’t turn on, we called JDC thinking it might not be fixable. Josh was able to diagnose the problem and order parts VERY quickly so we weren’t suffering in the heat.

While he was replacing the blower motors, he identified some additional issues which we discussed pros and cons of addressing now vs. later. I really appreciated how he helped us make informed decisions by explaining what each repair was, what safety implications there might be, and the associated costs of each.

We now have our problem-child system fully functioning, a short-term plan for maintenance, and a vision of what replacement might cost if and when it doesn’t make financial sense to keep the 30+ year unit operating!

It feels great to go into the summer knowing we have someone dependable and prompt to help us with our furnace/AC now! Would give more than 5 stars if it was possible.

Josh went above and beyond to help with my furnace repair. He was calling Trane distributors and finding me in stock inventory for the parts I needed. He followed up multiple times and was always extremely responsive. I will be using JDC for every project going forward.

Josh was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He also was upfront about pricing and shared all relevant information on incremental costs as the process developed. JDC ended up having to do more work than anticipated but they were able to be efficient and get everything done in one visit. I am comfortable recommending JDC to anyone looking for help with their HVAC system.

Michael M. from JDC Heating & Cooling was timely in his arrival for the appointment as well as timely during the appointment. Not only did he diagnose and fix the issues with our HVAC system, but educated us on how we can improve its performance moving forward (different filter type than we had been using). It now runs so quiet that we can’t tell if it’s actually running or not!

JDC heating and cooling were fantastic to work with. My heat wasn't working and I called them around 3 in the afternoon. They were able to send a technician, Michael, out in about an hour. Throughout the process they were communicative and were able to completely fix the problem (even with ordering a part) in less than 24 hours. As a female I am sometimes weary of males when it’s just me home but Michael was professional and polite. I will use them again if need be.

We found ourselves in need of a replacement furnace or heat pump, and JDC was one of four companies I contacted. We very narrowly decided on another company because the price was comparable and we thought the equipment was a slightly better fit. But JDC was excellent. Josh spent a long time on the phone with me talking through what was happening and what our options were. They then sent out a technician at no cost to look over our current furnace and confirm that a replacement was a good and necessary move, and they were prepared to do the replacement work two days later. They had a very strong bid, and I felt bad telling them we were going another way. They’ll definitely be at the top of my list to contact for future HVAC needs.

I was introduced to Justin, from JDC Heating & Cooling, via my Duquesne Light Co.'s HomeServe warranty options because my AC Unit was blowing hot air. Immediately upon his arrival, I recognized what skill, professionalism, and kindness that came with him. I was pleased that he maintained his working areas neatly, and cleanly, unlike most other vendors. I recognized that he was diagnosing my AC from at least three different locations, I thought it was awesome that he explained his diagnosis, and he plans of action to his team leader, and they concurred which general fixes would be necessary. Upon completion, I was provided a full report, and recommendations for my continued care.

And I'm in prospective, right now, as I thought to myself, given Justin's exemplary levels of knowledge, and operations, my comparison in regard to his service, ran similarly to a physician house call, or in my case, a JDC Heating & Cooling Specialist, Justin, completing a job well done!

Josh did a great job pinpointing the issues of our A/C system. There were two -- one with a malfunctioning part on the A/C unit and a burned out transformer in the furnace. Within a few hours after my initial call, he had fixed both at a very reasonable price. Thanks, Josh.

JDC did an amazing job for us! We had a new furnace installed in January 2025 and our heat was up and running in a day. They are were so friendly and professional. This July our HVAC unit attached to the new furnace was leaking into the furnace. They came the same day I called and made adjustments to stop the leak. The repair was done free of charge. Thank you so much for helping us so quickly and with such care! I highly recommend doing business with JDC!!!

We would highly recommend JDC for any heating or cooling needs. They are efficient, and well-versed in their trade. The tech that we had (Michael), was excellent and very friendly. He talked to my husband and told him everything he was doing and what needed to be fixed and what we should look for in the future if anything should go wrong. we were highly satisfied with the work that he did.

When I lost my furnace in January due to a water main break, JDC was able to replace the furnace that day as soon as the water was removed.

Today, Mike was able to fix my compressor fan as part of annual maintenance. Very fast and economical. I stopped using my home warranty service due to the better service and value I get from JDC.

My experience with JDC was all around fantastic. From Josh getting us situated with a same day appointment to Michael making quick work of the issue. I’ve definitely found the heating and cooling company I’ll be sticking with from here on out.

The best part about our property management company is that they use JDC Heating & Cooling. From start to finish, the customer service was top notch.
