Professional, friendly and competent are the words I would use to describe the work Craft heating did for us. The technicians were friendly and interaction with the company was painless. It was an excellent experience all around.

Craft was very easy to work with.
The guys came in went right to work, communicated well during the process.
They cleaned up when finished and showed up exactly what they did.
Would definitely recommend them.

Will not sell parts to the furnace that was installed by their company they want to charge for a service call when customer has part removed an ready to get a replacement but Craft Heating will not sell just the part! Next furnace will not be installed or serviced by Craft Heating I'll look elsewhere!

Called and they came out right away. They diagnosed the problem quick. My lines were frozen up. Had to add Freon they charge me $580 just to add it. I think I over paid but what can I do. Service is good but expensive.

they've done hvac work in our home few times over the years and the service is always excellent. they rushed right out when our furnace failed on a very cold night. appliance and hvac work usually isn't cheap, but we feel like we can always trust craft to be honest and dependable.

Technician did not show up for appointment because they had me down for the wrong day. This was the second miscommunication in a week. I decided to contact another HVAC company instead so I cannot comment on their actual work.
Pros: Their appointment fee was relatively cheap ($84) compared to other companies.
Cons: Major communication issues with their scheduler/dispatch. -
Come up here to handle household responsibilities for my ailing father, and come to find out this company installed the furnace 22 years ago incorrectly and have sold scheduled maintenance twice a year for the entirety. Not once did they catch the mistake.
Call them up and explained that I had readings of extremely high carbon dioxide readings when the furnace runs, plus how it's affecting the people and animals inside the home, and they didn't bring a single piece of equipment that would've verified dangerous conditions. The technician explained to me the combustion analyzer is too expensive to have all the technicians carry them, so they keep the one they do own in their shop for "special occasions"... when it should be done on scheduled maintenance every year before the heating season. That tells me they've never done it in 22 years of service.
The technician charged me a service call fee and informed me they'll need to come back sometime next week with the proper equipment.
Extremely high levels of carbon dioxide disperses the oxygen available, and can be fatal. I'm a home inspector and licensed electrician, and this is fairly common in the hvac-r industry unfortunately. -
Have used for 30 years including maintaining an old furnace, buying and installing a new one as well as AC. They are fair in pricing, great friendly service and my new items have been in for years with no problems. Highly recommend Jim and his team

Craft was so polite and so fast. Our furnace stopped working. We called and they came out the next day and had the problem fixed very quickly. They were very reasonable and friendly.
Thank you so much -
I'd give Craft Heating and Cooling 1,000 stars if it were an option. My experience with Craft during the install of our new A/C and furnace was minimal as our builder handled most of the communication. When I did have some interaction with the install crew, they were very professional and focused on making us happy.
It's my opinion that the post-sale/install customer service is the most important measure of a company that will not only receive my repeat business, but my recommendations to other potential customers as well. Based from my experience over the past 48 hours, Craft Heating and Cooling's technicians, Don, Aaron, Rick and Luke provided a level of customer service that you typically only see in new hire customer service training manuals. The other night I noticed the pan under the unit had gathered water. I called their after hours line to see if I can have someone come out in the morning. Minutes after leaving my message, their on-call Tech, Don called to get more detail. I explained that I wasn't concerned of an overnight overflow as it was a nice night to leave the windows open with no need to turn on the A/C or heat. After Don learned the unit was in a utility closet on our new 2nd story, he nearly insisted that he come out to take a look. I'll never forget him saying "I won't be able to sleep tonight knowing there's a slight possibility of an overflow and what that would do to your second and first floor." I found myself thinking this guy is more concerned about our recent investment than I am. Keep in mind the off hours call was covered by the warranty so there's no play here for them to collect additional revenue. Don showed up and threw on a pair of booties without me having to ask and went to work on the unit. He didnt have the part needed, but put in place a number of safeguards to enable himself to get sleep that night (my family and I slept great too.) Yesterday, Rick stopped by to fix the issue. An electrical issue popped up shortly after Rick left, but I knew the leak was fixed and we didnt need the air on last night. So this time I left a message stating I didnt need anyone tonight but if they can send someone out tomorrow to check out the electrical issue. First thing in the am, Luke shows up and quickly determined it was a faulty on/off switch. He rechecked the entire unit top to bottom after replacing the switch. These gents are truly masters of their craft (pun intended) and customer services champions. I will be calling Craft for my heating and cooling needs, as you should too. -
Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable staff and technicians. I really appreciated how well they took care of us when our air conditioning went out during the hottest days. Highly recommend!

They never called back to schedule 2nd part of the work. The technician who came to my house was knowledgeable and polite. It appears to be an administrative malfunction. I even called several days later to follow up. I was told the service manager would call me the following day. That was 2 weeks ago. I have spent considerable money with Craft Heating over the years. I feel disrespected.

Great service and, as importantly, professional and friendly assessment of the issue. No low-balling on price just to get in the door. Gave us a range of options after a thorough in-person evaluation, and then found a less expensive resolution when work started. I trust them. Don't know that I could say more than that. Only reason for 4/5 is the cost of a service call. I give free first meetings to all potential clients. I'd like the same. On the other hand, it was nearly the lowest service call cost of the 5 places I called. I'll call them again.

Called and had someone here within a couple of hours, and they were able to get my furnace up and running within the day. Very grateful for the speed, and the cost was very fair. Rick was super friendly and knowledgeable!

The first two times I had issues with my furnace over the last 11 years of home ownership they came quickly and were reasonably priced, but when my furnace went out completely a couple of weeks ago they said they would be by later after that day or call me to reschedule. They never came and never called back. Don't waste your time. Find someone who cares.

My air conditioner was leaking and no longer putting out cold air. I called and made a same day appointment. The communication between their office and me was fantastic. The service technician was here in under two hours and within an hour he fixed my problem. Rick was extremely professional, helpful, friendly, explained the problem, and had my unit up in running in a short amount of time (especially considering all the steps the find and address the problem). The fees were extremely reasonable! I will definitely use Craft again for any heating and cooling need.

Excellent service! Our boiler broke two days before Thanksgiving and they had us back up and running with plenty of time to enjoy the holiday! Don was very friendly, professional and explained clearly what he was going to do. He wore a mask upon request and had the job completed much quicker than expected! If we ever need HVAC work done again, we'll be calling Craft Heating!

Could not recommend these guys enough. We saw 3 different staff members from our original service call to the date of install with our new unit. It was like having family members in your home. So kind, so caring, so genuine. Got their info from seeing the van while servicing another house on my street, will definitely recommend.
-
They came out to our house after our furnace died, and gave us a quote that was less than their competitors. The install was just a few days after we accepted the quote and went smoothly. There was a mechanical issue with the new furnacr 4 days later and one of their techs came out and fixed it within an hour of calling the office about it. Their techs were all very professional and worked quickly.

Charged me $350 to replace my water heater expansion tank. They were here 10 minutes and now experiencing problems with pressure to my toilets. Called the company and they indicated they do not deal with toilets. Everything was fine with toilets beforehand so you might think it is related to the install and having the proper pressure? Rip off.

I normally call crafton heating and cooling since they installed the furnace over 10 years ago. Only problem is thermocupling breaks maybe every 4 to 5 years. And this year it broke again. So I call them at 1am they left message for a technician to call back which they did at 930am said they will be out to look at it. Ok now the probelms start cause when I called them around 3pm i think asking what time will they show up. They say Don is the one who is going to show up but was in Carnegie and he will call 30 mins before he shows up Ok cool. While a guy nick calls and says he will be out in 30 mins he gets here and don't know how to change it ok that's messed up specially when Don was supposed to show up not nick. So nick says Don will be out when he is done with the job he was on. I said Ok. An hour goes by no call. So I call them back the office is closed and was talking to the 24 hour service and they transfered my message to the one on call. And then I remembered I had nicks numbers he called me from so I call him and ask what's going on he says we can come tomorrow at 8am. I was like I'm not up at 8am u guys said u would come out tonight and fix it not my fault u sent the wrong guy. Now with temps going to 12 degrees and only got one radiator heater and 2 animals. So now I have to freeze and wait till tomorrow just to have it fixed when I was told it was supposed to be fixed tonight.now I'll keep calling them for service cause I really don't know another place and it's there product but this sending the wrong guy for the job and then making me we wait in a freezing house with 2 animals is just wrong
