They basically removed a old HVAC system that got destroyed from a water heater failure one apt. above mine. They came the next day and measured for new equipment. Two days later the entire new system was installed by what I observed to be a very skilled crew. The owner arrived first on the install day to make sure everything was ready to go smoothly and quickly. I got good equipment mostly from Lennox, a well known manufacturer. I have been in the apartment leasing/management business for 40+ years and these guys are as good as I have ever used. I would recommend them for sure. David in Oakland.

We had an excellent experience with Admiral. Our home warranty company had sent another company to inspect our air conditioner. They were unprofessional and due to various issues, seemed untrustworthy. I decided to call Admiral because the prior owner had a long term relationship with them, and I can see can see why. Everyone was extremely professional, courteous and very quick to get our unit inspected. Within a week they had a new unit installed. Steve was extremely helpful with all of our questions and went the extra mile to help us get straightened out with our home warranty company. I would recommend them 100%.

I obtained several bids for the replacement of a 35 year old furnace in a house I recently purchased, and Admiral had the lower price on what I feel is a superior product in the Lennox Merit Series.
They installed a 93% efficiency gas furnace and a 13- SEER AC unit. Their team did a GREAT job- there were 4 or 5 technicians who made quick work of the removal and new install. They completed the job in under 4 hours, the work was very professional, and they cleaned up after the job as if they had never even been there.
We are very happy with our new system and the professional installation performed by Admiral!

We have been very pleased with Admiral. They installed our Furnace/Air Conditioner unit in 1996. Since then they have been very prompt in any maintenance or minor repairs. When it came to replace the unit this year they provided us with the information to choose the appropriate replacement and when we were ready for the replacement came out promptly replaced the system in half a day. The people who have provided the services have always been prompt and professional and would recommend them to anyone seeing HVAC services.

Admiral Heating & Cooling installed our A/C, heating, & ductwork in 2012. They did an amazing job with a system that was personally tailored to our home and needs. In 2022 our A/C developed a coil leak. The coil was still under manufacturers warranty. After a quick assessment of the problem, the professionals at Admiral Heating & Cooling arranged for the warranty part and when it was available they promptly came and made the repair. Service techs were very friendly and courteous, leaving absolutely no mess. Incredible work at an affordable price - great value. I highly recommend Admiral Heating & Cooling!

Admiral is a company that takes pride in their work. Since purchasing my first home in 2020, I've relied on them to replace my boiler, repair my radiant heating system, and install three mini-splits. They're always upfront with their pricing and it is clear they never try to pad the bill with unnecessary add-ons. After four years of use, everything they installed is running perfectly. No leaks, no strange noises, just reliable heating and cooling that keeps my home comfortable year-round. They went above and beyond to fix my 33 year old furnace. Instead of saying you need a new furnace they searched for the board that needed replaced.

They thought they found one, but when they came to install it was not compatible.

Even though I ended up needing a new furnace, I appreciated all the time and effort.

Admiral Heating and Cooling came to my rescue once again ! I noticed my furnace wouldn’t kick on on one of the coldest days we’ve had in a long time . The response to my call had to be some kind of record . The technicians are always so knowledgeable and friendly. This is not the first time I have needed service quickly and they have always responded in more than a timely manner . I enthusiastically recommend this company . They are excellent .

Admiral are not only the nicest and most fair folks but also come through in clutch moments every time we call! Of course our furnace needed a service call Friday afternoon while being 20 degrees outside. Admiral was out in a few hours to fix our issue and charged us an extremely reasonable price. Cant say enough good things!

I needed a new furnace and air conditioner. I called and spoke with Brian. With in a week someone came and checked it out and a very reasonable price was quoted. Brian set up a time for installation. The men arrived on time and were very polite. I had encountered a couple of them on previous service calls. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. I barely knew that they were here. Admiral has taken care of my AC and boiler for 21 years. They’ve replaced an ancient boiler, and recently replaced my AC. Not to my surprise, they did their usual impeccable job. Not only do they do excellent work, they are wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them.

Admiral did an great job for us replacing a 15 year old leaking AC unit. We got 5 quotes, and they were the most reasonable. They were able to fit us in quickly, and their team who did the install was excellent! It was done cleanly and within a half of a day. Brian (the owner) was helpful in helping us decide what equipment we needed for our house size. We are now happily cool, even upstairs, which NEVER was the case before. I have gone to Admiral Heating and Cooling, a family business with over 60 years’ experience, for several years for everything from fall furnace service to replacing two furnaces in two houses. They have been all one could hope for — reasonably priced, on time for appointments and quick to install equipment. Everyone from the company has been personable and extremely competent, right down to fabricating parts in their shop to connect new furnaces to older ductwork. I cannot recommend Admiral highly enough.

Admiral answered my call and came the next day with a new Lenox furnace. The installation was seamless! Covered all my carpets to protect them while they moved the furnace into my house. Greg Heisler was the installer along with his crew of friendly staff. About 4-6 hours later, I had heat again!!! Highly recommend this company.

We have been using Admiral Heating &Cooling for many years. We had them service our older HVAC equipment and, if we were having a problem, they would show up the day I called. Admiral has always tried to troubleshoot, and were often able to inexpensively fix the issues. But, we eventually needed a new furnace, and more recently, a new central AC unit. They do an exceptional job installing and at a reasonable price! I highly recommend Admiral for your HVAC needs.

Admiral Heating and Cooling have been servicing our furnace and air conditioner for over 25 years. This year we decided to take advantage of the tax credit that ended in December 2025 and had a new Lenox Elite furnace installed. Stephan was one of the installers and did a great job. The old furnace was removed and the new one was installed by noon. Great workmanship at a reasonable price. We give Admiral Heating and Cooling in Pittsburgh a thumbs👍 up!
