I called this morning and they had someone here at 10 am to help us with our new thermostat. Braeden gave us two options as we didn’t have a c wire to connect - we ended up adding a wire over the converter. The work was done fast and he was polite. Definitely recommend their work!

Initially Alex was extremely nice,however when I decided to postpone install of air conditioner,he got really nasty,threatening to come and remove refrigerate from my unit. And called back twice arguing until I had to 3way my nephew from NC.because of his behavior and my being a senior. Not to mention I've had several bad experiences with selecting services off of THUMBTACK, Which I will never use their services again.

Scott was my Tech today and he was great. Efficient, friendly and informative!

Amazing. Super easy and no hassle. I used the app to inquire about an estimate Friday and had an appt scheduled for that Monday (today). I didn't even think they'd get around to installing the new water tank for another week or so but to my surprise they were able to install my new hot water tank same day. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Quick/efficient. I can't say enough great things. They even gave me a heads up regarding my old dusty crusty furnace needing replaced out sometime soon. I will definitely be hitting them up again for that and all the future stuff that comes up. Can't thank you guys & gals again! <3

The technician, Scott was very professional. He explained the issue with my ac and fixed it quickly and efficiently and I was just charged for a service call. I would definitely use them in the future for any HVAC issues.

This group was fantastic to work with and were extremely flexible at a time where we had a service call planned but lost power leading up to appt time.

They were quick to reschedule us for the following morning first thing which they quickly adjusted to be the same evening again with power being restored to our neighborhood shortly after.

Our tech Braeden arrived shortly after, was extremely friendly, went right to work and resolved our furnace issue quickly.

We’ll be using Jacob again for our ongoing HVAC maintenance and repair needs.

Braeden has been out twice and is always very nice. He is good at explaining things and very thorough. We are working within restrictions of a home warranty company so he is limited on what he can do to actually fix the problem, however he is prompt and courteous and easy to deal with.

Jacob Heating and Cooling provided exceptional service for our heating issue. The technicians arrived the same day we called and quickly diagnosed our problem. They were highly knowledgeable, fixed the issue efficiently, and kept us informed throughout the process. The price was fair for the quality work performed. Home warranty response, but will definitely reach out to Jacob (and Big Scott in particularly) for future non-warranty work.

Scott was an incredible help. Professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He came for an estimate and went right into the work installing a pump on our AC's condensation line. He was quick and effective; it's working perfectly, and the job site was clean afterwards, too! Highly recommended.

$150.00 to be onsite for less than 5 minutes(Batteries were installed backwards in thermostat. Installed batteries the correct way, thermostat is operating normally.) seems pretty extravagant!

Had a brand new Trane complete air conditioning and gas heating system installed by Jacob Heating and cooling. It was a complicated removal of the old system, and install of the new system, due to tight access. The technicians were extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. The whole process took 9 hours, and they were working consistently. Everything was handled in a most professional and thoughtful manner manner, and they cleaned up well, after service was completed.

The sales personnel were extremely price competitive, and helpful in making appropriate choices. Appointments were on time, and scheduled promptly and efficiently. I give Jacob the highest possible recommendation, for competence, courtesy, and professional demeanor at all times. This is in contrast to our previous local A/C contractor, who let their business deteriorate completely. If you need a new system, go to Jacob heating and cooling.

Had a very friendly and respectful HVAC tech named Scott that was fantastic and thorough. He explained to me every step in the process he was going through to troubleshoot my new google nest thermostat issue and I felt like he treated me like I was family. He was also very personable and respectful towards me and home. I felt like Scott cared about the result of the job he did and did not seem like he was trying to rush to get to his next job. I would definitely recommend him and his company to others in the Pittsburgh area.

Excellent! "Big Scott" came to my home first thing in the morning and not only fixed my AC fast, he explained everything to me. When I need a furnace or AC repair they are the first one I will call. I'd give them ten stars if I could!
